the hunger games;; not necessarily what you want to get into. the games occur every year at the reaping when two tributes from each district are chosen to fight until the death in an arena created by the game makers. two children from ages 12 to 18 will be randomly selected at the reaping- one male and one female. you will be whisked off from your life as you know it to the capital, where your stylist will doll you up for a parade, in which could make you or break you. you'll gain sponsors there, who can buy and send you "gifts" during the games, which can mean life or death. after, you'll live in the capital and train every day with the other tributes until the games begin. that could be your chance to intimidate the others, show them what you've got, or maybe even start alliances. at the end of training, you will get scored by the judges on a scale of 1-12 on how well they think you can survive the games. this is also vital to getting sponsors, hence a sponsor only wants to lay their money down on a tribute that will win. so whether you've been training for the games your whole life, or you're ripped out of your own home, there can and will be only one victor. will that be you? or will you die trying?

the rules;;
one. please follow all cs rules, pretty self explanatory
two. this is not a romance rp, however, romance is suggested to you to add in a little drama
three. yeah, it's the hunger games. it's all about violence and death. but if you kill another tribute without their okay, then you'll get kicked out. also, please don't describe injuries/killing scenes/romance/etc. in detail
four. there is no such thing as katniss, or peeta, or gale, or anyone else in the books/movies. but, please try to stick to the districts as they were described in the books/movies. remember? the only districts that had careers in them were 1, 2, & 4. the rest of the tributes had their own skills that usually had something to do with their jobs and industries at home. and please, just because you're a girl in the hunger games doesn't mean that you shoot a bow as supposedly know how to hunt. i think that that only sticks to katniss, in which i mentioned earlier that she doesn't exist at this time.
five. i don't have mods at the moment, so for now i'm the boss. please listen to me c: to become a mod you must be on very frequently (at least once a day, preferably more)
six. this is a semi-lit roleplay, which means that I expect more than just,'he smiled.' really? how the heck am i supposed to answer to that? give me something more like,'he smiled at the girl bashfully, turning his gaze back to the ground.' yeah, maybe it's not the best example, but you get the gist. also, there is a 6 line (not sentence) minimum per post, 4 with writer's block (wb). please for use wb as an excuse every time, 6 lines is not thy bad.
seven. if need be, be sure to * out cussing. please keep vocabulary to a minimum, meaning keep it pg-13. if you're questioning your statement, then just don't put it. also, hell, damn, ass, crap, etc. is okay.
eight. please use the provided form that I have made up for y'all. you may also post a picture (NO ANIME!), but no more than one. sorry, cs rules. i will be role playing the game makers and such, thus meaning i can control what goes on in the arena. however, only you may control what happens to your character. i don't wanna see somebody dodge every single thing that the game makers or other tributes throw at them, because then it isn't fair and that's just plain selfish. if you'd like to help by playing with the arena and such, please pm me

Pearl is a career, and takes it seriously. She doesn't mess around when it comes time to train, or go to the arena. She wants to get in, win, and get out. She doesn't think of the games as a bad thing, just as another obstacle. She's never had a friend in her life, and takes every instruction that her trainers or mentors tell her and puts it into action, without asking.

Pearl is a lanky girl, being about 5"5" and is very skinny. She's not starved or anything, but she's always like this. She has wavy light brown hair and blue-green eyes that go well with her tanned skin
strengths/weaknesses;;
Coming from district four, she's had her share of fishing. She knows how to fish, swim, and survive in tropical climates well. She works well with spears, tritons, a bow, if you can throw it or shoot it, it's for her. She hates one on one combat, and isn't very good at strength. She's an okay runner, and is good at hunting/gathering. She works best alone, and prefers to show no mercy and get the job done quick, but there may be some exceptions made

Maple is a violent person, with a fiery temper she keeps inside. She gets angry easily but prefers to seethe in the shadows rather than take it out immediately. Viciously burrowing her axe-blade into soft tree bark helps to relieve her tensions. She doesn't know how she feels about the hunger games: It's more neutral than anything else because she knows she's going to die. Shed prefer not to, but its not in her control. Oh, and also she's a pessimist.

She's very short, but that might be because she's only 12. She has wavy tangerine orange hair that comes down to her chest and wide pale green eyes that seem drained of color.

Maple is a lumberjack of sorts, as she is from District 7. She was born and raised with an axe in her hand and now she doesn't feel comfortable without one. This makes it her go-to weapon and she doesn't really know how to use anything else. She can also climb trees rather well.

Like stated before, she's relatively harmless if you take away her axe. She can't run very fast at all and is pretty noisy.
