We're Not Like the Others {Semi-Lit}(Open, males needed!)

{{ I am in a terrible amount of pain at this time. I have lost someone very close to me, so besides the things that I have going on this weekend, I will need to take a break to grieve.. }}

~ Naomi ~

Placing her pup down on the ground, she began sifting through one of the many tall medicine cabinets, her mind drifting off to her not so distant past. His voice broke her out of her thoughts and she glanced back at him, giving a small shrug as she turned and walked over to him, plopping down various medical supplies on the hospital bed next to where his arm was resting. "I wont lie. I'm curious, but its obviously something you don't like speaking about, so you don't have to tell me anything if you don't want to." She said, taking a damp wash cloth and cleaning around the wound as carefully as possible, knowing this would probably hurt him anyways no matter how gentle she was being.

Will winced at her touch, the cold water stinging his burnt and torn skin. "I feel like you deserve to know," Will replied. "Besides, this is the first time I've net someone so willing to talk, listen and be around me, to treat in a friendly manor." The words stopped, terminated with a small gasp of pain. His wound seared and his body shook.

{{ I have had a change of heart. I know if she were still here, she would not want me wallowing around in my own pain and sadness, but rather she would want me to continue to live how I normally would. So I will try my best to be on more, but like I mentioned before saturday and sunday are going to be busy days for me this week. }}

~ Naomi ~

She cleaned the wound the best she could, though the moment he gasped in pain she Instantly pulled the damp cloth away from him. "I'm sorry!" She cried, dropping the cloth back down on the bed next to his arm. She grabbed a tube of medication, quickly reading it over, making sure she had grabbed the correct one. She then smiled, more to herself than to him, and turned back towards him, popping the top off of the tube, which looked similar to toothpaste. "Not only will this kill off viruses, it also prevents the wound from getting infected, and has a cooling affect, so this shouldn't hurt at all." She said, glancing up at him and offering a nervous smile before setting to work applying the medication.

(I am sorry to hear about this, but I will pray for you)

Will realized that he was digging his fingers into the bed. He tried to relax but the pain was immense. "It was actually Artherus who did this to me," Will explained through gritted teeth. "Artherus is my older brother and he is easily as big as me. He took up hunting a few years ago and he hunted me just as much as animals." Will placed his hand on his bare shoulder. A small scar the size of a bullet hole marred his shoulder. "The day I left for this place he saw me slipping of into the forest and attacked me with his hunting knife. I only just managed to defend myself by throwing my arm in front of my chest where he was aiming. He stabbed me just above my elbow and ruthlessly dragged the blade all the way down my arm." Will pointed to his hand where the wound stopped. "I managed to pull free from him and ran off, knowing full well that he wouldn't find me in the forest if I hid in the branches."
William noticed the blood beginning to ooze out again, soaking into the covers of the bed. "Obviously I didn't do a very good job of burning I closed." He felt dizzy already and his vision was starting to blur, his gaze becoming unfocused.

She listened silently as she continued to tend to the wound, nodding her head every so often to let him know she was still listening. She pulled her hands back as the wound began bleeding again, mumbling a curse under her breath as she attempted to stop the bleeding. "Well, attempting to burn it closed probably did more harm than good." She said, glancing up at him and noticing he seemed to be kind of out of it, which scared her, though she easily kept her fear and worry from showing on her face. "Don't you dare pass out on me, I wont pick your big butt up off the ground if you happen to fall out of this chair." She said, a smirk appearing on her face as she quickly grabbed the bandages and began wrapping his arm, hopping that would stop the bleeding, and hoping to distract him from his pain by attempting to joke and talk with him.

Will said nothing; his voice didn't want to draw the words together. At last it was his pain that snapped him back. "Sorry Naomi. I'm okay. Thank you." It was all he could manage, his head still spinning and his wound burning. "Artherus didn't go easy, did he?" Will smiled, but it was a half-smile.
He didn't tell her the one thing he dreaded, the one thing he thought for sure his brother would do. When the time came, he knew he would have to deal with it, to put his life on the line to make sure that none of these people suffered his brother's wrath.

Nodding, she allowed a sigh to escaped her lips as she paused, glancing up at him. "He sure didn't." She said, offering a small apologetic smile before continuing to work on his arm. "So, who is Mooneyes..?" She questioned, keeping her focus on his arm, worried he may be upset with her for asking even though he had once offered to tell her about it.

"Mooneyes was my cat," Will explained, "before Artherus killed him. My brother hated cats." He winced from the pain and from the memory. "It was his Great Dane that was always chasing after me. You see these?" Will pointed to his chest, where scars tore through his skin, across his ribs and sides. "Those are from Beast, Artherus' dog. I have them pretty much everywhere, along with a couple more bullet grazes." Will shut his eyes. The memories were hurting his head, and the fact that it was spinning already didn't help.
"Thank you for doing this for me," Will added, truly grateful.

Once again, she fell silent as she allowed Will to speak, feeling like a horrible person for making him speak of things he obviously had trouble speaking about. Reaching a hand out, she gently touched one of the scars that were caused by the dog who belonged to his brother. "And I thought my life was rough." She said, glancing up at him and smiling. She then pulled her hand back, standing and lifting her arms into the air as she stretched her body out. Turning her back towards him as she returned the medical supplies to where they belonged, she thought of what he last said, thanking her for helping him, and she allowed a smirk to appear on her face before glancing over her shoulder at him. "You honestly think i'm the type of person to just simply stand by and watch when someone is so obviously in pain? I'm hurt! You're so rude!" She said, faking being upset as she quickly turned her head back around, facing the wall as she stared at it, wondering if he'd believe her. However, she couldn't help the giggles that escaped her lips, so she dropped the act and smiled as she stared at the wall, her back still turned so he couldn't see her face. "You're welcome." She then said, falling silent as she became lost in thought.
