We're Not Like the Others {Semi-Lit}(Open, males needed!)

~ Naomi ~

She stayed silent till River left the room, watching her leave before looking back at Will. "No." She finally answered. "Just a little headache, I've dealt with worse." She said, not planning on telling him that she felt the pain of him being shot and stabbed, once he was better she might, but not now. Silence then filled the room and she was at a loss for words. Awkwardly glancing around the room then back at him, she caught sight of her hand on top of his and she once again turned her head away to look around the room, and to hide the light blush that had appeared on her face. Even though she had been the one to put her hand on his, it was odd. She wondered if a nurse or someone were to come in the room if they would think the two were a couple or something, that thought only made her blush darken as she attempted to force the thoughts from her mind.

Will's smile deepened. "You make me happy," he said before he had the chance to think. The words were suddenly out of his mouth. "Thank you for coming to see me. I'm sorry for causing you so much trouble." His expression darkened suddenly. "Do you know about the attack details?"
He got the feeling she did somehow. His wounds throbbed but he wanted nothing more than to go home and eat some good food, play with his fire animals and make Naomi's eye light up in wonder once again as he manipulated the element. Will suddenly wondered if he had the strength to conjure up fire from inside himself and mould it into the shape he desired. Controlling it was another question. Did he have the physical ability in his current state to do such a thing?

~ Naomi ~

His words didn't help her blush either, it only seemed to make it worse. Before she had a chance to calm herself, he asked her about the attack, and feeling it would be rude if she were to just keep looking away from him, she forced herself to look back at him even though the blush was still very apparent on her face. "I know you were shot, and stabbed.." She mumbled. By your brother, and that it really, really hurt.. She thought, her body tensing as she remembered the pain, but she quickly forced herself to calm down, hoping he hadn't noticed her tenseness.

"I didn't expect to see him there, my brother I mean. You saw him, in the vision didn't you?" Will read her face, her deepening blush making him go a little pink too. "What else did you see?"
There was something she was hiding. He turning his hand under hers and clasped it gently in his warm, strong grip. Despite the fact that he was seriously injured, his strength still showed through his touch. Will tried to soften his expression a little, his blue eyes piercing through his black hair.

~ Naomi ~

Nodding at his first question, she glanced towards the door to the room, wondering what was taking River so long. Of course it wasn't like she wanted her to hurry back, she was just worried they would be talking about his brother or something important and she might walk in and hear some of it. Glancing back at him when he spoke again, she was about to answer when she felt his hand shift under hers, turning to grasp it in his gentle, warm grip. Her blush had died down some, but now it returned to its dark pink shade and her hazel eyes locked with his blue ones. She wanted to spill everything and tell him everything that had happened, but was still hesitating.

Will could feel her hesitation through her hand. "I won't force you tell me if you don't want to," he said, releasing her hand just as River walked in with his water.
She helped him sit up and he took the glass in his hand. The water rippled because his hand was shaking. "Thanks," Will said and River nodded. He drained the glass and she took it, resting it on his table.
"Do you need anything else?" She asked but Will shook his head.
"I have no appetite right now, but I wouldn't mind a walk around. My legs are twitching." Will replied. "What about you guys?"

~ Naomi ~

She felt odd not telling him, like she was doing something wrong by keeping it from him. She tried her best to hide her disappointment when River returned moments later and he released her hand, but she wasn't sure how well it worked. She moved her hand to rest in her lap where her other one was, still feeling warmth on her hand from where he had held it. "Should you really be up walking around?" She questioned with a playful smirk, head tilting slightly.

Will rolled his eyes. " if I don't get up I think I'll scream."
River shook her head. "Not in your condition. I'll be very surprised if your legs can hold you. Can you even catch yourself if you fall when you can barely sit up?"
Will ran his fingers through his hair, wincing at the pain that shot through his arm. She was right, but he was still very restless. He turned instead to Naomi. "Are you going to tell me about this thing or what?" He didn't mind if River knew about his brother. She had done enough for him already.

~ Naomi ~

Glancing at River then back at Will, she let out a sigh and explained everything. How she left shortly after he did to go shopping for Mia, how she had the vision and left to find him, and how she seen everything happen in person. She then had to explain to him the details of her powers, how the person in her vision is linked with her and whatever pain they feel, she feels, so she felt the same pain he did when he was shot and stabbed. She glanced towards the wall, unable to look him in the eyes as she continued. "I couldn't do anything though, I couldn't stop him. I hid myself in an ally and just laid there, hiding like a coward.." She said, still refusing to look at him, biting her lip to keep from crying. She never cried in front of someone, her mother always said it was a sigh of weakness and that she should never do it. "I don't really remember much of what happened after that, but I know River helped me. I was out for two days, until you woke up of course, then I did too and the connection I had with you broke." She said, forcing the tears to be pushed back as she looked back at him. "He isn't going to come after you again, is he? I mean, do you think he'd do something like come here, while you're still hurt like this, and try hurting you again..?" She asked, looking down at him with worry filled eyes.

Will was shocked that she had felt his pain. "I don't blame you for not doing anything. Had I been in your situation I think I would have done the same. If you felt the pain that I felt then I'm not surprised at all at your reaction. I myself could barely move. You don't have to be sorry at all." He reached for her hand again. "I think that Artherus will come for me again, but not now. He'll wait for me to come to him, in the forest. No matter how much I hate the thought, I have to fight him again and put a stop to his violence. You must have seen his ignorance of the other people who were in the area. He has no sympathy for them and he doesn't care what happens to anyone as long as he get to lay hands on me. Even if he did attack now, I would defend myself. Even like this I don't think he could kill me."
William looked to River. "I suppose now you know what happened. I'm sorry it had to come to this. I've caused both of you enough trouble already. If my brother does come then please run. Don't get involved with this. When the time comes for me to fight him, I will do so alone. If either of you got hurt because of this I would have to take responsibility entirely."
