- ↷✩↷ apparently the ringing of the bell was a sign the time for lunch had come around and the teachers no longer wanted to deal with the students. this was fine with the blonde junior as he gathered up his things from his history class and left the room without a second look back. sterling also wanted nothing to do with the teachers. more or less, he didn't want anything to do with school. there was those who loved learning, socializing, and just the idea of a social prison and then there were those who were better off at home doing nothing. sterling was better suited in the second category granted he believed school was a waste of time. nevertheless, he did enjoy the breaks from class and the concept of eating. pulling two crinkled dollar bills from his back pocket, he got his usual grapefruit juice from a vending machine and spent another dollar on a cinnamon roll. it was weird combination, the roll and juice, but it sufficed and wasn't too expensive. after getting those couple of things, sterling proceeded to walk to the lunchroom where he posed a face of disgust. ugh, so many people he couldn't give two cares about - what a drag. however, despite his dislike for human interaction, sterling found an empty table and took a small sip from his beverage, his eyes fixed on the tabletop and not wandering elsewhere. show signs of loneliness and people would be all for sitting with you - no thanks.

- ↷✩↷ freedom - total freedom. once that bell rung, carrying from room to room, kids shoved their books into the bags and the sound of zipping overcame it - winning victory. ryleigh was actually one of the first ones out of her child development class, ignoring her teacher's words: the bell doesn't dismiss you, i do. it was illegal to hold kids in late once the bell had rung so ryleigh gave it no second thought. mind you, she was ready for this day to be over. even though the girl loved to socialize and moved from group to group to talk to others, she needed a break from the usual school crap. the dark haired senior was already being pounded with homework and staying up late last night was really taking it's toll on her. oh well, a nice run after school would clear that up. but, the day was only half over and she would have to wait. on the bright side, her next hour was p.e. - a class she enjoyed. ryleigh was competitive and athletic, the class was more than perfect for her. anyway, seeing as though she wasn't in the mood to find anyone to talk to, she stopped at a machine and chose the healthiest option there: a banana nut muffin and orange juice. mmm, orange juice! totally amazing. best juice in the world. alright, anyway, ryleigh also chose to sit on the steps leading to the second floor of the school. of course she could have sat under the steps but sitting on them was way more comfortable.
i will add cash in later. c:
