;; hi guys oops i got into trouble bc my step mom is strict and there is this airplane/jet over in the sky and it's really creepy cause it's just flying straight up...weird. anyway, i'll be replying soon? i have an aunt from california coming over this weekend and i've got some major homework to do so i'll be spotty or however you want to put it.

Despite the fact the small shop was filled with people she easily found a table next to a large window. The window was nice as it displayed the gently falling snow. She loved watching the snow in the winter, it was rather calming for her. She sat down gently in the chair, acting as if it would collapse if she just simply plopped down. She was so cold she could barely feel her toes, however her arms were just warm enough to not feel stiff and her hands were warmed nicely by her coffee. She lifted the cup to her lips and soon the warm feeling took over her inside as the hot coffee entered her mouth. It was delicious, so sweet, yet still had the coffee taste she enjoyed so much. It warmed the inside of her whole body and coated her throat. She removed her pea coat and hung it off the back of the chair. She left her beanie in as she was sure she had hat hair and would not want to display that.

Soon she heard a bot of commotion in the back, it soon after the muffled close of the door. She glanced over only to see a boy standing by the cash register. She figured he just worked there and shrugged it off looking out the window again. She felt so awkward sitting alone in the filled cafe when everyone else around her had been talking to someone the entire time. "I'm giving out free hugs today obviously" she heard a voice project to her from behind. She looked over at the boy behind her who seemed to be talking to her. A smile crossed her lips as she read the shirt he was pointing to. She realized he was the boy behind the cash register and was slightly confused but kept listening to him. The smile remind on her lips and she placed her coffee down gently on the table. "Sounds lovely but...you sure you want to hug me?" she asked a small shine in her eye "I'm extremely cold you know." she finished and tilted her head slightly.

There were many things that could intrigue people about someone they had just met or profiling from far away. Right now, there were two things that interested Dash about this girl. And, well, for now we will put the looks over on the side. Yes, she was pretty - even with the beanie off. Oh, that would make three things, then. Dash also wore beanies. It was mostly at night or when shopping - granted it was cold outside, the hat on his winter coat worked just fine. Secondly, the small smile she did. The hazel-eyed senior had approached several girls before this one, whenever he talked to them...they would simply roll their eyes or become extraordinary flirtatious with him. The small smile indicated there was something different about her - so, yes, that simply left him eager to find out more about her. And, lastly...her personality and the word choice. Lovely? He only heard that in tv shows or read it in books. Also, the cutie hadn't jumped right on his offer and creep him out. In other words, so far so good - he was digging this chick just by the simple actions and the two sentences.

Even if she was cold, that didn't scare him off or make Dash second guess his friendly offer. After all, his blood circulation was more than great which left him with warm hands and body. Poor circulation left people with freezing hands and toes - weird, but sort of cool. The dirty blonde was also guilty for wanting to know her height. Since he was six feet and three inches, he definitely wanted a short girl to talk to. And, by short, he didn't necessarily enjoy the incredibly small people - those of 5 feet and three inches. There was such a thing as being too tall for the other gender - and it caused people to stare. Anyway, the amused smile had gone on long enough for him and it was time for Dash to say something back to the entertaining response. "I should warm you up, then; there's nothing to lose is there? Just a casual hug from a stranger, not much harm in that."

The brunette sighed, walking around. She was lonely at the moment, and decided to go for a walk. Her green eyes looked around as she stepped into the cold, and she called Bunny to her side. The large great Dane walked beside her by command, not really needing a leash. She patted him, and stepped to the sidewalk, enjoying a little walk with her buddy. "God. I wish I new a single person here." She said, annoyed that nobody knew her, or that she knew anybody. Kaia crossed the street to a local coffeehouse, buying a coffee and a water for Bunny. She poured the water into a portable bowl she could fold up, and put it on the ground for the very thirsty Dane.

Allison braced herself for the harsh cold winds that were about to hit her. She grabbed her car keys out of the ignition and stuffed them in her pocket. She took a deep breathe and opened her door,"Ooooo!"She said when she was out of her car. She locked her car and ran up the curb. Once she reached the door and ran inside. She accidentally bumped into someone standing in line."Oh my goodness! I'm so sorry!" Allison said to her. She shivered and looked at the girl waiting for her response.

The wind outside howled, the thick snow swirling around in odd patterns. The windows on the coffee shop rattled, letting bits of freezing air find their way in. Suddenly, there was a large crack, almost like the splitting of dry wood.
Then, without warning, not even a flicker, the power in the shop went out completely. All the bright lights in the room died. Everyone was plunged into a winter afternoon darkness. Light enough to see each other with, but not to read or write.
The woman at the counter looked a bit shocked, but didn't speak just yet. She left the customers for a few seconds, walking into the back room. After a minute or some of rummaging around in only the dark, she came out with her arms full. She had some blankets, candles, and flashlights as well.
She lifted her voice, to reach everyone over the surprised chatter. "Well, as most of you can probably see, we seem to have some technical difficulties. she joked, "But I suggest to stay here until the blizzard blows over, it seems dangerous outside. The lady set the supplies down on the front counter, before continuing. "We won't have any heat though, so it will become chilly in here soon. I hope most of you wore thick warm clothing. If not, we do have some spare blankets you can borrow, although there won't be enough for everyone." She gestured to the small pile of blankets, then moved aside as if to let people get them. "These candles and flashlights are for emergencies only, or if it becomes completely dark in here. Thank you, and carry on."
