It was a fun little game at first. During Lunch period in the classroom, the teachers would go to the lounge and the kids would enter “King Time”. A secret gathering for only those with invitations. During that time, people would send in their wishes for the king to grant. Anything they wanted. The king would then decide whose wish would be granted.
At first, it was once a month you would go to king time. The wishes were small and people found it to be fun and a happy time.
Then it got nasty.
King time happen.ed once a week. The wishes were getting more violent and the need for their wishes to be granted was cut throat. All who spoke out against the king were made to be outsiders. Everyday trash was thrown on their desk and they would be bullied.
Enter Arisa. A cute girl who loved to play king time until it became a monstrous act. She protested against it leading her to be shamed and ousted from the group.
That’s when she jumped out the window.
A new year begins and all stories about Arisa are gone. Only small rumors exist. It’s as if King Time never started.
That was before the text was sent out inviting freshmen to join King Time at lunch.

Our characters live in Seattle, Washington, America. But the school they attend is a sort of mix between western high schools and Japanese middle schools, so all students stay in their class room throughout the day while the teachers change instead. Lunch is in the classroom and there is no teacher supervision during this time. Thus King Time was born.
Physical education is outside though. And there is still after school activities.
More areas will be explored as we go on.
