life's a ride, right? well, you should enjoy it. no one lives forever- not even a horse. a horse has a shorter life than you, so enjoy it, ride as fast and as good as you can when you have the chance. this, is why you were invited to this... academy of a sort. you get a horse- though you may or may not like them. remember what your teachers always said? treat others how you wish to be treated? yeah, well the same goes for horses. this academy is centered on how you are treated, and how your horse is treated by you. during the time your in this academy, there is no more school. you have been excused from every hour of your class time, and have been chosen for your... attitude. your have been rude or done something bad. you were close to being to go to boarding school, but this school has been looking at your grades and.. reputation, and have seen you are exceptional for this school. you have received this letter, and are to attend these classes- if you want, that is.

You have been chosen to attend Idylwild Academy for the Exceptionally gifted in the art of horse
back riding. You have been assigned a horse to collect when you arrive at this wonderful place
you will call home for a while. Rules will be supplied when you arrive, and the dorm room will
be given to you by the woman out front. You must bring clothing and things to decorate your
room, though much time won't be spent in it, as you will be riding your horse. Becoming an
exceptionally good horse-back rider is going to be your dream at this school, so get your hat
and boots, and get ready to get down and dirty!

All my life I've been an outsider. I've been a dreamer, the rare case, and just plain old different. Yes, you can say I'm old fashioned, you can say I dress weird, you can say I'm too smart, you can say I'm uncool. But do you know how much I care? Not one bit. I don't really care about much. Except for music and riding of course. I love riding more than most things but music, music is one of those weird things about me and I love that it is. Despite me dream of someday being a rider for a living, music will always be the biggest thing in my life. Weird, right? Music is what makes my world go round, it's the reason I wake up every morning. All you need is music, and love of course as the Beatles told us. Oh, by the way, my name is Ivory. Ivory is a weird name once you think about it. It's funny because ivory is a creamy white color and I'm tanned with dark brown hair. And then there's my eyes. My eyes a shimmering silver like a diamond set in platinum. My middle name comes from the Beatles song Lucy In The Sky With Diamonds. My parents decided on that since my eyes are kinda diamond like. I guess that's all there is to me. Except, of course once again, for those things I'll leave up to you to find out.
