Adara was about to say something to Asriel when the girl he'd picked up just then suddenly woke up and scrambled away from him. Adara immediately raised her swords in a defensive position. She narrowed her eyes as the girl screamed at Damon. What was her problem? What was so special about the bow and arrows? Well, besides the obvious. She seemed more determined than most people to get them back. It was kind of weird.

She tensed when the girl pulled a dagger out of her boot. Of course she'd have other weapons with her. Adara tensed, ready to attack the girl as she rushed at her and Asriel, but then the girl surprised her by turning around and throwing her dagger at Damon. She was worried that the dagger would hit the boy, but she had no time for that. She had a chance to take this psycho down. She raced forward and slammed her shoulder into the girl in an attempt to knock her off balance. She swept her foot under the girl's legs just in case she wasn't able to knock her over just by running into her.

Damon quickly jerked up when he noticed the girl get up and scrambled to her feet. Now, Damon wasn't stupid, so he didn't think twice on how to react. He had been trained well enough that many of his habits were not second instincts. Without a moments hesitation, he took a good three steps back, managing to dodge the girl's flailing arm and dagger. He quickly pulled one of the stranger's bows from the Quiver behind him and pointed the arrow at the girl, holding the back of object with a delicate but firm hold.

"Make one more move and I won't hesitate to harm your legs." He warned with narrowed eyes as he aimed the Arrow to the girl's thigh. Thankfully, Adara managed to help him out and give the girl a few blows, which did give Damon a bit more confidence, although he was pretty sure he could've handled it by himself. "I didn't need your help, Adara." He hissed through grit teeth, his eyes still focused on the girl to make sure she wouldn't make another move.

Night Venom narrowed her eyes dangerously when she noticed movement among Damon. She could sense he wasn't in the safest of positions and quickly dashed past the wall of flames and towards him. The shadows of the trees nearly made her black scales disappear, the only mention of her presence being the way her feet pounded against the forest floor. As she approached Damon, she creeped through the shadows and paused, taking a taste of the air with her mouth and hiding behind a tree. The poison glands behind her jaw was quickly producing poison, even the frills next to her neck shivering slightly as if in warning. She was sure Damon knew of her presence there, and at any order she would throw poison on this threat.

The girl stumbled as Adara rammed into her, but then fell to her knees as she swept her foot under her own feet. She faced downward, breathing shallowly and quickly. Her eyes looked up past hair that had fallen over her face, and she eyed the bow and arrow in Damon's hand. She then rose her face and faced them, the anger and hate in her eyes melting away and being replaced by a unknown emotion. "You aren't them." She paused, " I wouldn't still be alive." She said coolly, looking at each of them in turn, up and down. She stayed on her knees, but her hand crept up and gripped her upper arm, near the arrow, and she winced. Suddenly her eyes moved up, and she scanned the bushes and area around them. Her expression fell, and grew dark; as if she knew something they didn't, and didn't want to ever tell them. "You lost your home, didn't you?"

Adara glared at Damon,
"And I'm not too enthusiastic about letting Growly over here throw more knives at any of us. I'd rather err on the side of caution than save your ego, thank you very much," she said with an equal amount of venom in her tone. She narrowed her eyes and looked back at him for a second before turning back to the strange girl.

She raised an eyebrow when the girl mentioned "them". Who was them? Clearly not someone nice if she was expecting them to kill her. She was about to ask the girl what she meant when the girl mentioned them loosing their home. Her eyes widened a touch and she tensed.
"What makes you so sure?" she asked, her tone icy.
