Two-toned eyes like shards of sapphire and amber opened to find the culprit of that broke his gentle slumber- the sun. The dark prince gave a snort, contemplating turning on his side and not bothering with the star that burned millions of miles away. Then again, he did not wish to return to the dreaded regularly occurring flashback. Etched in his mind was the story often told by his mother. She had grown up in a pleasant village in Northern France and his father, or so he thought, had come from the bustling city of London. While he was stationed in France as a general for the British military, he had met a stunning specimen of a woman. After successfully persuading her to come back to the mainland, he proposed with a glistening diamond ring crafted by professional hands. While on cruise overseas, an engine failure had spun the ship into a remote island. That's when my mother had thought she lost contact with her dear husband. Bless her poor heart, when she was rescued, she demanded that her William to be found. Weeks of searching with no avail, she had lost hope.
And that's when his godly father came to comfort her and secured his devilishly handsome looks.
He came to her as a handsome doctor who became more than a friend shortly afterwards. She still yearned for her dear William, but he was lost within her darkest memories. She found out that she was carrying a child. She had kept it a secret, a very good one at that. Oh! The look of shock when she found William walking among the streets of London. The poor man gave his story, saying that he had taken quite of injury, resulting in memory loss when the ship failed. How could she tell him that another man had taken a half of heart for his own? Fancy enough, Hades was no where to be seen.
Soon he was born.
Outrage tore his family. Both his parents had blonde hair and blue eyes, yet it was a surprise when the baby had opened his eyes to the world to reveal hazel and a much-too-light sapphire.
A small smile crept on his mauve lips as he slipped out of the bunk bed like a feline. His past was far away from him, hidden in the bustling town of London.
Archer exited the cabin to find himself unsure of what to indulge in. He kept to himself mostly and was known for his cold responses to badgering questions about what was beneath his impenetrable armor. Without purpose, he strode out into the camp, avoiding carriages that raced past him. He had become accustomed to the camp and knew it as a temporary place of stay.
(( Once again, I find myself unable to reply for the time being. In all due respect, I'll probably have a post up by tonight or tomorrow at the latest. I've just been so busy with sports and studying, I've been unable to produce a simple reply. Plus, I'm having a bit of writers block sobs quietly so yes, I'll have a post up and ready as soon as I can.
Also, would it be a bother if I make another character - I'm having a huge writers block with Avery at the moment, so I do hope that's alright c: ))
