( Alright I will put her up for adoption. :D Yes there is but the player has not made a post just yet. Should hopefully be sometime today. I'm thinking of making a Man character myself actually.)

Rango watched the metal, waiting for the right moment to take it out to forge some more blades after cutting it down to size. He could see the younger Hobbit looking over his shoulder watching what he was doing, "I'm making weapons, and repairing some." He did not care though, curiosity was not something to be punished for. He jumped when Pippin seemed to wince and drag his hand away from the fire, "Be careful Pippin. Fire may be nice for it's warmth but it's not so nice when it is touched." He watched as the Wizard put her staff to the younger Hobbits hand and healed it with her magical powers. Rango remembered hearing his grandfather tell stories about a wizard by the name of Gandalf coming to The Shire and giving the Hobbits a wonderful display with his fireworks and other magic.

Rango looked to Roeina, "It would not be a problem at all. I'm already going to be making Egrassa's. I can make yours before I get on with the rest of the orders." He put a heated slab of metal onto the anvil, "Yes a Hobbit working in a Dwarves weaponry is not a very common site. I took the job when I learned that it has better pay than farming. I have two siblings to look after and can really use the money." Rango wondered if it was such a problem for him to be working in here, but he did not care, "Not to speed with what has been going on lately or who is working where?" He looked to the Wizard again after finishing cutting the metal slabs and got to work shaping them into blades.

Pippin looked gratefully up at Roeina, relief flooding into his hand. “Thank you,” he murmured, looking down again. He held his hand up to his face, gaping at it in amazement. He met Roeina’s eyes. ”I didn’t think it was a real fire,” Pippin stammered, still examining the hand. He let the arm drop to his side, backing away from the fire, nervously watching the flame flicker about. A smile came to Pippin’s face as he thought of all the things he could use the fire to do, if only he had a friend to do it with. Fireworks, games, anything really!

Return his thought to Roeina, Pippin examined the wizard’s staff. ”How did you do that?” he asked curiously. He had never met a wizard before, only told great legends of such wizards as Gandalf, Saruman, and Radagast. The stories were all so amazing. Pippin thought for a minute, finally putting two and two together. This tall being next to him had studied under Radagast. The Radagast, the one from the stories!

( That is perfectly alright! That is why he is up for adoption. :3 You don't have to fill out an app for him if you don't want to. Just copy and paste his details to the same post as Pippin's app. ^-^ )

(Okay, thanks! I'll probably do that once I've worked with the character a bit and gotten a good night's sleep)

(Hallo! Sooooo sorry I haven't posted yet. I've been incredibly busy today, like, you have no idea.)

Lucian sat in the shadows, rolling his sleeves up to his elbows where they sat more comfortably. A little ways off from him in the pub was a woman, her hands on her weapons even as she rested. He's seen her silence a group of rowdy dwarves with said daggers not long ago. He respected the ease with which she drew her weapons, and her battle instinct. Lucian held his arm up, his claws glinting in what light there was from the nearby fire. With a small sigh he relaxed his right hand from the leather-bound metal bar in the middle, sliding his real hand out from beneath the upper cover. With it, he unfastened the wrist-strap on the other hand, sliding the entire gauntlet off. He repeated this process with the other hand, silently looking over the scatter scars on his forearms and hands. Most of these were from him having fallen asleep while wearing his claws-Which was not an uncommon thing.

Lucian never minded being cut and battered. It was something that had been a part of his life since he was merely a boy-Damage, pain, loneliness. He felt the opposite of at home in this crowded city, bustling with dwarves and refugees. The dwarves were not the most welcoming of folk, but Lucian wasn't either-So he accepted that. Adversity was met with adversity, as was Lucian's way. Silently Lucian tested the edges of his claws, thinking that they needed to be sharpened some time soon. He realized that he was indeed in a busy place, and he was bound to get someone coming up and commenting on his blades. He smirked as he through of his favorite catch-all response. "Yes, they're claws. Knives that attach to my hands. Actually pretty useful for tearing people to shreds. Would you like a demonstration?"

EGRASSA

The elf did not have time to respond as one hafling entered and proceeded to fall over, closely followed by a woman with a staff who claimed to be the apprentice of Radagast the Brown. The hafling recovered before Egrassa had even swung his legs from the anvil. Upon hearing that the woman claimed not to know anything, anger seethed and bubbled furiously under his skin. "You know nothing? Nothing at all? News may not travel fast but did you not wonder where all the elves disappeared from? Did you not feel the evil that is building? Did you not hear the screams of helpless infants as orcs burnt down their homes and slaughtered their families? Radagast the Brown knew that evil was building two hundred and sixty years ago when Smaug was slaughtered by King Bard of Laketown and the orcs and goblins grouped together to slaughter every man, woman, child and every other races around the Lonely Mountain," he hissed, getting up and pacing forwards, "you tell me you know nothing. Hobbits, dwarves, men and elves alike have been fleeing their ancient homes for nearly a year and slaughter and death follows in their wake. And you tell me you know nothing."

He turned his back to the wizard and picked up and bent, useless piece of metal probably ruined by a young, naïve apprentice. It as smooth and cool in his hand but it did nothing to calm the elf. Furious, he launched it across the room where it clanged as it hit the far wall. "You are a wizard and you tell me you know nothing. I would prefer not to be in the company of someone who claims that they know nothing of the world." Now he turned on poor Pippin. "Or course it's a real fire, hafling! This is a forge, a smithies. Why would the fire not be real?" Clenching his jaws and closing his eyes, Egrassa tried to regain his composure and strode over to a far anvil where he sat with his back to everyone, breathing deeply through his nose while his nostrils flared with anger. His dagger was soon in his hand and, using a lump of stone from the floor, the elf began to sharpen the blade.

Rango was taken aback by his Elf friend's sudden rage that appeared to explode out of nowhere. But he had a very, very valid point there. Bilbo did state in his book that Radagast mentioned right there that he knew something was wrong while they were on their way to Erebor. The Hobbit looked from Egrassa who was no perched in a different seat, facing away from the group, "He is right.. Even Radagast knew of the danger before it appeared. You should have been able to sense what was going on, even a Wizard of your level.. Thousands were killed at The Shire.. defenseless Hobbits. Slaughtered. Very few of us have survived." Rango sighed, he was now starting to get the full grasp of everything, "My parents were killed. All I have left are my siblings."

The Hobbit finished up Egrassa's dagger and quietly walked over to his friend, "Here. It's finished." He put the blade down next to Egrassa, "You have no charge to pay." He rolled his sleeves some as he saw they slipped from their place, "Take it easy on the boy.. He has not been exposed to the real world until now. At least do that. I don't think any of his family survived the attack on the Shire." He looked down to his feet, "Everyone is paying the price for not accepting the fact that there is a new evil. It may not be in the same way as most of us. But they are paying for it." He sat down in another seat, "Some are going to be ignorant to what is going on.. what happened." He looked down at his filthy hands, wondering if he said the right words.
