Lisa had been preparing to be social and actually talk to people today, but that didn't mean she was ready when he walked up to her.
He looked to be about her age, and was just slightly shorter than her. Of course, she was a little too tall to begin with, but she couldn't help it. She forced herself to swallow, smile (which looked more like a grimace, she imagined), and brush the wisps of hair that escaped her make-shift braid out of her face. "Um.. Sure, yeah. I just moved into here a couple of w-weeks ago, but I can t-try to help you, of course. Where do you need to go?" she stuttered, stumbling quickly over her words.

ah, tristen thaddius saxon - a nerd back in his day. the one who was the teacher's pet. he never got into trouble, always managed to avoid the jocks, and excelled in all his classes. tristen was a boy to be proud of. a guy of pure heart and a creative side. tristen is now twenty six years old born in the month june on the 25th. after high school, he was accepted into columbia university in the city of new york. this wasn't a surprise to him, granted tristen had lived in new york for all of his life. so, yes, that would make him a city boy. he graduated at the age of twenty-two with a bachelor's degree. in case he didn't find a job in journalism, tristen also took up science classes and several doctory ones, too. however, he didn't need to take those classes. once graduating from college, he quickly landed a job in the new york times. tristen usually does the murder articles along with the occasional rumors of celebrities or models. whatever brings in the paycheck. speaking of a paycheck, he does bring in quite a sum of money. enough to live comfortable and not worry about the next meal. but, tristen does not live in the "rich life". where other people would have a large home, tristen owns a medium sized studio apartment. when he gets home, tristen is greeted by his lovely kitten named ash - who his a male cat. that doesn't sum up all the animal capacity! tristen also has a parrot named mr. moosestache.
tristen's usual means of transportation is his motorcyle. you can usually find this guy at starbucks downing coffee as he writes a new article for the new york times.

Karson had already finished unpacking her stuff into her apartment, which was surprising considering she had been extremely busy the last little while trying to find a job, buying small things that she needed and fixing some things around her apartment that needed touch ups. Sadly her day off wasn't until tomorrow so she still had to work today but luckily at her job she is able to be around people, which is an advantage since she hasn't really made any new friends here, yet she hopes to. Even though Karson works at a coffee shop she still gets to play her music and sing, since her boss sometimes let's her perform. When Karson plays music it's like she's a different person because music is a way she expresses herself and stops her from thinking about her past.
Karson grabbed her backpack as she stuffed all the things she needed in it, quickly put on her shoes and ran out the door of her apartment, locking the door after herself. She slowed down to a walking pace once she reached the side walk outside her apartment, making her way to the coffee shop just down the road from her apartment, where she was currently working. When she arrived, Karson slipped on her apron, quickly tied her hair back, washed her hands and moved over to stand in front of the till.

She spends her days at the studio, preforming of course. She spends her nights reading about her idols, actresses of course. She loves her home, the stage of course. She's smart, kind, outgoing, and, secretly, very sensitive. Know one knows the real her. First of all, she's may be a big dreamer, but she does not give up that easily. She's always excelled in singing and acting and dreams of someday being the next Idina Menzel, or Laura Oznes, or Lea Michelle. She used to live in a tiny town in the middle of the US and she always dreamed of leaving it for a life in the big city. She currently lives in an apartment on 42 street, the great white way. She wakes up every morning with a smile on her face, knowing she lives within walking distance of dreams. What else is there to her? Oh, so much more. She loves animals, flowers, and mother nature. She loves to read and write. I bet you didn't know she was one of the top grades in her class. Well, now you do. What else will you find out about the amazing Layla Dianne Gardner?

Jerome catches up to her as he turns around, smiling when he sees that she really was pretty, and it widens at her cute half-smile in return. To be honest, he's a little surprised that he has to tilt his gaze upwards slightly to level hers, but then again he's spent most of his life around shorter people. He'd absolutely towered over Marie and Lila, his ex-childminder. And Pretty Girl looked shorter from a distance.
Ah, well, that was perspective for you, he thinks.
"Well, do you know your way to the nearest bank?" he asks Pretty Girl, mentally congratulating himself for the lack of stuttering. It didn't happen often, but it did happen, particularly with new people and his professors. He accidentally winces, remembering when he stuttered in front of his (attractive) Photography professor, which led to an unpleasant misunderstanding.

Keira was born on the 9th of April, 1995; alongside her twin sister in a public hospital in Dallas.

Gender & Sexual Orientation:
Female, identifies as a proud bisexual.

History:
Keira's parents owned a roadside motel just outside of Dallas, Texas. She met a lot of the motel's colorful patrons while working the desk during summer breaks, and found herself spellbound by their stories. This inspired her to write many of them down, sometimes changing little details, sometimes merging their adventures together. This was how she discovered her talent as a writer, and it has been her ambition to become either a novelist or screenwriter since. Her mother lost her battle with cancer when she and her twin sister were fifteen. Her sister Sage, a talented Western rider, threw herself into the rodeo circuit, a way she could feel close to her mother. Keira immersed herself in her writing, and taking care of her father and the motel for the next few years. After graduating from high school, her sister got accepted into a pro rodeo training program, and left home alongside her horses. Keira initially felt bad leaving her father, but decided she had to follow her dreams as well, heading off to New York City with only a suitcase full of clothes, her small savings account, and her beloved border collie Beau.

Personality:
Keira is a compassionate and empathetic girl; she loves animals, but doesn't have the special connection with them her sister does, preferring people anyhow. She is incredibly loyal to her family, and kind of became the mother-figure after her own mother passed away. Sometimes she has a tendency to put others' before her self, and can end up downtrodden and brokenhearted. Keira hates to think bad of people, aways trying to see the best in them, and has a firm 'innocent until proven guilty' policy. She comes across as friendly and talkative, always eager to meet new people and learn new things.

Appearance:
Keira has honey blonde hair, and blue-green eyes. She is 4'9'', slender and willowy, with fair skin and a band of freckles across her nose. She has a penchant for sundresses and red lipstick when out in public, but at home or with friends is very much a jeans-and-T-shirt kind of girl.
