With watchful eyes, Iris calmly sat back in her chair and admired the boy in front of her. He was handsome that was for sure. Her wings tugged and pulled at her back making her uncomfortable yet she stayed relaxed. This was her first time sitting, or even being this close to another Lapsos. Her mind ran on with questions about anything. Picturing herself rambling on she gave a small smile when the young man finally spoke. Hi was the best he could come up with. Her eyes did not move from his as his wondered the around them.
"Hi," She gave another small smile before leaning forward and crossing her arms on the table. The coffee in front of her was still warm as she slowly reached for the cup."My name is Iris." She was more of a silent type but the silence between them seemed more awkward than if she were sitting with a Mortalis. With the Mortalis she simple gave them the cold shoulder for they knew no true pain. It was who she was. But sitting with another Lapsos seemed to have awakened a part of Iris she did not even knew existed. Curiosity. Keeping her sapphire eyes on the boy in front of her, she took a sip of her coffee before leaning back into her chair.
