Ransom didnt hear anything, as she was to busy eating. She loved these woods. She had spent most of her life in these woods. She remembered when she snuck in. Ahh.. the good days. She finished her squirrel, and she stood up, her soundless paws burrying the squirrel. She loved to burry a animal she ahd just eaten, as she had just taken the life of a animal for food. But- thats what animals are for right? Well, okay.. she thought, and swished her tail, and she then cought a glimpse of white coat. This was a unfimiliar scent. She growled, and sprinted twords the white coat, which since she was smaller she could run faster. She pinned this animal, and growled.

Reaching the tree line, she walked a few feet further before laying down to eat her fresh meal. It wasn't her favorite, rabbit, but it would have to do. She preferred bigger game such as deers, but she also wanted to be able to eat. Eating her meal, she wondered if there was someone out here she could talk to. She wanted to know most of the people here. To her, it was always a good idea to know people and make friends in a situation like this so you'd have someone on your side. Also, this way she could figure out who would be the best kind of defense in a fight. Not that she would abandon someone that was a "weak link" but if she had to choose between her and someone that didn't have much left, the answer was obvious to her. She shook her head. Her thoughts were getting ahead of themselves. She finished her meal and cleaned up before going anywhere.

Peaking around the tree, he noticed it was the ocelot he'd seen earlier. Or, at least it looked like the same one. It might have been a different one. It appeared she was eating so it was best for him not to bother her. He kept his distance and watched cautiously. He must have surprised her, or possibly him, because when they finished, they turned and got defensive. Being slightly pinned under the smaller feline, he whimpered in way of apologizing for his intrusion. His ears were folded back and his eyes were wide. He was sure the ocelot could feel his heart beating rapidly in his chest as he wasn't expecting a fight or any kind of contention.

Ransom growled, her paws layed heavily on the snow leaords broad shoulders. Wait- this could'nt be a normal snow leapord, because it was'nt fit for here. She then morphed, and the young woman standing there, ehr purple hair this time falling a little under her shoulders from when she had taken it down. "Show yourself." she snarled to the stranger. Then, the morph relized that the snow leapord could attack at any second, as she was now unnarmed.

I perked my ears, hearing footsteps nearby. I saw fronds of dried grass about 5 meters away and shot into them, crouching low. I laid my ears back and kept my tail down so I wouldn't be seen. My pelt blended well with the grass, so I doubted the newcomer could see me. I saw a large, striped pelt appear and crouched lower, narrowing my eyes. I let out a tiny mew, just to let the tigress know someone was there.

The tigress was cleaning her claws when she heard a mew. Knowing to always be on guard, her eyes shot wide open and scanned the grass. If she didn't keep her guard, she'd cut her tongue on her claws. She didn't see the cheetah at first, but the second time she glance around she could just barely notice the outline of the other feline. She sat up, her tail wrapping around her legs and chuffed softly letting the other cat know she was heard. She couldn't see the cheetah, exactly, but she could sort of make out the shape of her.

When the ocelot morphed to the girl with the purple hair, he calmed down some. At least he knew who it was for sure this time. With her now off of him, she was demanding him to identify himself. Slightly hesitant with this request, he sighed inwardly and morphed to his normal self. His light bangs fell over his eyes. He didn't mean to alarm her or cause for a commotion. He felt bad. "Sorry." Just one word. His first word since he'd been here. His voice was soft and sweet, but also sincere and meaningful. He looked to her apologetically.

I sighed, seeing the tigress wasn't threatening. My mood soared now; I could meet some one new! I stood, waving my tail and stretching. I trotted out from the grass, grinning. "Hi!" I chirped. "You're a morph too, huh? Cool! I'm Chance Dillard." I sat down, raising a paw and swiping it over my ear. I cocked my head and asked, "Who're you?"

Ransom watched him. "Oh- Im-Im sorry about t-that." she stuttered. She was always embarressed to do those kind of things when they where not needed. She quickly jerked her head down to her feet, her purple hair falling over her face. She counted the leaves on the woods ground, trying to get herself to stop blushing.

She could now see the cheetah in full. She was a few inches off, but she had the general direction correct. She smiled lightly toward the feline. Nodding her head in answer to the rhetorical question, she looked over the stranger. She didn't seem threatening and she definitely wasn't acting like a threat. She seemed almost overjoyed to see Shalah. "Nice to meet you, Chance. I'm Shalah." Her smile grew a little bit more. Her ears twitched slightly and her tail thumped the ground lightly.

He smiled lightly at her, glad that she'd forgiven his intrusion. He hadn't meant to interrupt her in any way. By the way she looked to the ground, he felt that she was embarrassed or bashful about the incident. "It's alright." He felt a little more comfortable talking to her. His voice was still soft. He wasn't sure what it was, but she was very intriguing to him. Possibly the unusual choice of hair color. "It's my fault. I didn't mean to startle you."
