Scott looked from Nudge to Syk and back. Of course it didn't look like the other fox morph was going to die, but neither of them knew what happened, how she got injured, where she got injured. With crazy anti-morph humans out there, how could they be sure this was just an accident? He sat down on the floor and looked at Nudge with his chocolate brown eyes. He knew that she wanted the truth, but he was afraid of her reaction. "To be honest Nudge, we won't know anything until the vet gets here, or Syk wakes up and tells up something about what happened. But we'll do everything we can to help her. I promise."

Blake laid his ears back a bit embarrassed, but he smiled nonetheless. He remembered that day. It wasn't very often that someone tried to hunt him here. Daniel didn't allow it. Sheila chased him around for a little bit before one of the morphs stopped her and explained things. It was pretty scary being chased by leopard, or any predator. "Don't remind me. You're just lucky I decided to run instead of fighting back." he said jokingly.

Dan had finally found the vet, after quite a long while of running. He must have been at least sixty, judging by the massive amount of wrinkles above his brow. He was tall, thin, and went by the name of Dr. Sol. At least, that's what Dan thought his name was; he was a secretive man, and didn't want his name too widely spread throughout the morph community, for fear of being discovered. Dan had changed in the woods near the animal hospital, trying to look inconspicuous as he walked up the steps. When he told the vet what had happened, the man had immediately accepted to come with him.
Once he and the older man had finally reached the territory, he morphed into a wolf and ran ahead. Sol knew where the condo was, and Dan didn't hesitate leaving the man a few steps behind him. The sun was beginning to rise as the pair reached the condo, the soft red sky littering a hazy, blood-colored veil onto the earth.
They entered the building, and the vet quickly began his work, dropping his equipment as soon as he saw the fox and taking out many little silver tools. Dan looked up, seeing Scott, Nudge, and Kai, and smiling grimly at them. There was nothing more to do than wait, and see what the doctor had to say.

Sheila laughed and nodded. "Your right, I guess you would just have stamped your feet and that would have been enough. I think I still am a bit easily scared thou, not really realizing that I'm the ones with claws and all" she said, giggling a bit as she licked her small paw and drew it over her ear, looking at Blake with a smile.

Wanting to see more of her new home, she opened the door and stepped out into the hall. She shut the door behind her and headed for the stairs. She bounced down the stairs, still in a good mood. She was usually in a good mood. She reached the first floor and noticed the boy who still hasn't spoken since his arrival was standing in what she would classify as the lobby. She shook her head and walked to the doors that lead outside. Pushing the doors open, there was a slight breeze that hit her face. She grinned. Quickly, she morphed into her exotic form giving a soft roar and running at a slow, even pace through the grass. She didn't see anyone, but that didn't necessarily mean noone saw her.

Standing and looking around the lobby area, Kiran missed Shalah walking outside. He was walking around looking at the different things there. There was what seemed like an old map down stairs of the building, a few chairs that have been worn thin from the excessive amount of previous pass-byers, and a small coffee table. Some water rings could be seen on the laminate wood. Being so quiet, he normally paid attention to details. If needed, he could probably tell you in detail something he saw a few days ago. He didn't have a photographic memory, but he's great at remembering little things. He continued around. There were a few rooms there, but he didn't want to disturb anyone if there were occupants in the rooms.

I flipped on my back, yawning and swishing my tail. I pawed at a firefly that was blinking past, letting out a purr. I turned back over and stood up, stretching my legs. I let out a loud meow, trying to see if anyone was nearby. I'd cooled down now after running, and wanted someone to talk to. "Hello?" I called.

--------Burning pain coursed through her body, causing her to shudder. The strange thorn's out, why do I still feel like this? Though the pain wasn't that bad, it seemed to sap all the strength from her muscles wherever the spasm went. Something was making a clanging sound, like metal against metal, and it was getting closer. Suddenly remembering that the thorn had metal in it, she snarled, trying to make the noise go away and stumbled as she rose to a defensive position. Still growling, her grey eyes flicked to a wolf, then three other people who's names she could not remember. The injured paw struck the ground, afflicting excruciating pain through her body. Though it was temporary, she collapsed and the person with metal tools came closer. She didn't bother struggling this time, what strength she had left got stolen from that little stunt earlier. Who are these people? Wincing as something came in contact with her injured paw, she scanned the others with slightly blurry vision. Who is that wolf? The answer was on the tip of her tongue, but she just couldn't remember. Her left hind leg was being operated on by someone, someone who smelled very old. The vixen winced again when the old human rose to his feet, using a tweezer to pull out something that was embedded in her paw. There wasn't anymore pain in her injured paw, but more blood trickled out and the burning torment inside her body continued.

Ransom sighed and she morphed into her ocelot form, and pranced around the woods, swishing her tail around. She made a grunting noise when she saw a squirrel. Now that she thought of it, she had'nt eaten in a while. She crouched, and then pounced on it. She swiftly bit it and held it until it stopped squirming. She folded her paws under her chest, and began munching on ehr squirrel.

The grass was blurring past her as she continued running through the grass. The grass was tall, almost reaching her shoulders. Perfect for hiding in. If she ever needed to hunt, she'd have an advantage. She continued along in the grass, but slowed to a stop. Her heart was racing and her breath was heavy, but she had a smile on her tiger lips. Her ear twitched hearing something. A rabbit maybe? She crouched to the ground and listened closely. She heard the creature again and pinpointed the location. She held her breath and waited exactly ten seconds before pouncing on her prey. She nearly missed it since it was so small. Digging her claws into the flesh to get a tight grip, she purred softly in satisfaction. She picked up her prized dinner in her jaw and padded toward the woods.

Getting more acquainted with the building, he felt satisfied and turned for the doors that led outside. He'd already walked through the small field of grass that led to the building so he thought he'd check out the forest. He debated whether to stay like this or to morph. He was more vulnerable this way, but he didn't feel like showing off his unusual coat as his morph. After a while, he started off toward the tree line in his human form. Upon reaching the trees, he morphed to his feline self. Shaking out his soft fur, he purred softly in delight. He was sure no one saw him change. He weaved between the trees hearing small creatures scurrying around the fallen leaves. He thought he heard someone so he stopped and listened, his ears twitching. He walked in the direction of the soft noise. If he'd stayed in his human form, he probably would've missed it. His hearing was enhanced as a snow leopard. Catching a slight glimpse of a smaller feline, he stopped and watched from a short distance away.
