the fierce, stubborn girl is noneother than blaise anna corso, a name given by her parents. quite a fitting the name 'blaise' is, considering her aggressive personality. if she was named lilly like she was originally going to be, she wouldn't live up to the fragile, girly name. anna is the more feminine name, given by her father. then corso is noneother than her father's surname.
blaise is a young and spirited fifteen year old. she was born on december twenty first. living twenty years on this planet, blaise is currently pursuing the life of a pokémon trainer, hoping to become a dragon and fire master.
at a first glance, blaise seems like a beautiful, elegant young lady. well, talk to her, and she will change your point of view. being very fierce, blaise says what's on her mind. if you don't look good in an outfit and you want an opinion from her, she'll tell you with a straight face. because of that, she doesn't fear much. she is very brave and about as fearless as you could ever get. she is also adventurous, making a good combo as she loves to explore. however, it can be easily turned to a weakness, since she is extremely reckless. she can charge in without thinking, or even think about her options, but charge in anyways. most people get annoyed with this, but blaise doesn't ever really care. whatever they say, blaise will reply with a sarcastic retort, which brings to yet another trait of hers; sarcasm. blaise is very sarcastic, especially to any stupid questions. summing all of this up, it concludes that blaise is aggressive. she is very intimidating in a fight or argument, and doesn't take nicely to some comments. blaise is also extremely abrasive, not being able to stay calm and civilized in a fight. addition to that, she says whatever is on her mind, which can lead to anger. she is very cocky, but luckily for her; whatever she says usually comes true. but despite that, blaise can be the most loyal person to anyone if they mean something to her. takes a while, but it can be worth it. going along the more positive side, she is always in a teasing mood. always troublesome, always with a pesky grin on her face. but just keep in mind, she is always the untamable fire you have to be cautious about.
blaise's biggest strength is definitely her strength. she is very strong for her gender, and even for males. her agile and fragile looks cover the brute strength inside of her. no need to go into extreme detail, except you probably shouldn't challenge her to a fight. moving on, blaise is a pretty good pianist. she was forced into piano slavery by her grandmother, and took lessons up to the age of thirteen. she keeps this low, since it isn't something she exactly brags about.
of course, blaise is far from perfect, and is weak at quite a few things. first, blaise is horrible with handling emotions. when someone is crying, she'll tell them to toughen up. nothing special, just the usual blaise. however, in extremely rare cases when blaise is at her worse and emotions are flying at her, she'll break down. she doesn't have to deal with emotions that often, so it's pretty rare. but she is horrible at dealing with emotions. this is her biggest flaw, but ninety nine percent of the people she knows won't ever know that side. but going on the more brighter side, blaise is extremely terrible with cooking, something that the female gender is known for being the best at. she tends to forget everything that's in the microwave and the oven, and she hates measuring ingredients. so, don't ask blaise to cook. next, she's horrible with directions. don't expect her to even find her house when she's two blocks away. simple enough, blaise is bad with directions. finally, blaise is too abrasive to stay calm for almost anything. civilized debate? blaise prefers fighting it out. calmly keeping peace? blaise prefers to add fuel to the flames. either way, blaise is abrasive, so don't expect anything to change anytime soon.
if you ask about her past, blaise will tell you there's nothing special, because she doesn't want pity or guidance from anyone. but, blaise hasn't had the best past. she was born into a family of five; her parents, and her three older sisters; kelly, rose, and delilah. she was the youngest of the family, being a year younger than delilah, three years younger than rose, and five years younger than kelly. though she was the one hitting them. they didn't care though, they never really did. but at the delicate age of five, blaise's father walked out on her mother, and she was left to raise them. she didn't last long, because she didn't want to be 'stuck' with them. so, about a month later, blaise's mother committed suicide, hanging herself during the night. after that, madeline, their grandmother on their mother's side took them into her house. they were raised there, and madeline was blaise's mother figure. the closest thing she had to a father were her two uncles, though that was still a tight and sturdy bond. but when blaise was twelve, kelly at the age of seventeen dropped out of highschool and gave up her body to men, which is where her many nieces and nephews come in. rose and delilah stayed in the house, until they graduated. they never checked in on them, or even really cared, especially when madeline was diagnosed with alzheimer's. blaise was only sixteen when this happened, and it soon grew so worse madeline often thought she was one of the other sisters. then, her sisters really bailed on her. they didn't want to be with madeline, so they ignored the two. blaise doesn't consider this a sad life, since she's perfectly happy and fine with her life. it hasn't affected her emotional understanding of life, and blaise is as cocky and brave as ever.
summing blaise up in a few words, she is an average height and weight, pretty aqua headed woman. because of this, people seem to assume she is either that airy, but happy prep, or a soft and pushover lady. the stereotype is certainly not good for her reputation, but, blaise lives with it. she has long, light and bright aqua locks, usually pulled up into a ponytail. moving onto her eyes are a light, watery blue, soft enough to calm anyone, but sharp enough to sweep up a city. her skin is rather light, a hint of pink popping up. blaise is also not the victoria secret model, so she doesn't have the biggest bust, and doesn't need to.
blaise isn't anywhere close with her siblings, parents, cousins, nieces, or nephews. the only people in the world that mean anything to her, is her grandmother, madeline and her two uncles; jerry and thomas. she also has a few close friends, one being clair; her pink haired friend since elementary.
blaise is also not looking for romance anytime soon. she wasn't that teenager dreaming of a prince, and hasn't had any serious relationships.
blaise's best friend is noneother than houndoom, her fire type companion. blaise got houndoom from when she was taking the magnet train back to goldenrod city. while getting off the train, she caught sight of a small houndour in a cardboard box. contemplating if she should check on it or not, blaise eventually did, after hearing many minutes of whining. she ended up taking him all the way back to blackthorn. her plan was to set him free in the wild, but, after only a few days, blaise and the houndour grew very close. the small houndour she found, soon transformed into an incredibly fierce and stubborn, but loyal houndoom blaise calls her best friend.
going more into detail, houndoom is at a level of forty five. he has very high special attack and attack, but very good defense. he also seems to take after blaise, going for the direct hit, rather then do fifty status attacks. along with this, neither one of them likes the idea of iv and ev training pokémon, as they both prefer the old fashioned style.
houndoom has flash fire, meaning any fire type moves will just raise houndoom's fire attacks even more. for moves, houndoom knows the hm strength, along with six moves. thunder fang, fire fang, flame thrower, return, bite, and protect. as you can probably tell, the dog pokémon has powerful teeth, an advantage for canines of the pokémon world. he does have one status move, which is protect.
blaise and houndoom are an excellent team, but their biggest disadvantage is their defense. special defense is fine, but their weak point is defense. lucky for houndoom, he has pretty good speed, so they try to avoid as much as possible, though there are hits that get through. they also aren't fans of status attacks, taking time to use twenty different attacks just to raise and lower stats. this is another weak point that's never going to change.
her favorite type is dragon and fire
blaise has an extremely intense care of arachnophobia, though denies this and states she just wants to kill every spider in the world
she hates the bug and fairy type
she is an expert with a bow and arrow
