:: Quinn Parker :: Pureblood :: 18 :: Hufflepuff ::

The haunting laughter of the Bloody Baron sounded in a far away corridor, and Quinn gulped, tugging Alice along a little faster and ignoring the pain she was putting him through with how hard she was gripping his hand. They hadn't made that many turns, and they didn't have to worry about stairs, and Quinn quickly pulled her to the right when he remembered that that was the way they should be going. So long as the Bloody Baron stayed behind them, they'd be okay. They could hide if they had to; they just needed a distance between him and them.

    Alice DeWitt x Quinn x Terrified.

      The sound of the Bloody Baron's laughter rang through the hallways, and Alice froze momentarily. She probably would've taken longer to recover had it not been for Quinn pulling her along. Alice had to jog to keep up with his pace, and tried to loosen her grip a bit on Quinn. Her heart racing, it took all she had not to sprint away and to the Hufflepuff dormitory. The only reason she stayed was because Quinn was with her, and she didn't want to leave him behind.

Quinn had had his fair share of dealings with the Bloody Baron; in his younger years he'd often stayed up wandering the halls when he shouldn't have. The ghoul taught him a lesson about that a long time ago, and he hadn't done it for three years until tonight. Fear was practically radiating off of Alice, and that was the only reason Quinn kept going; for her sake rather than his own. Laughter sounded again, along with the sound of smashing glass, and he almost flinched. He glanced back quickly before looking down at Alice again, "Fancy a jog?"

    Alice DeWitt x Quinn x Terrified.

      Alice nodded, not able to find words at the current moment. Her heart was already racing, she might as well give it a reason to. When the sound of smashing glass was heard she jumped and looked over her shoulder before looking forward again. Alice had never officially met the Bloody Baron, but she knew enough about him - and heard enough stories - to know that she didn't want any part of him. While she usually didn't judge a book by it's cover, this book was an exception.

Quinn nodded and broke into a jog, minding the fact that his strides were longer than Alice's. He didn't let go of her hand once, and jogged alongside her back the way they came. In the fear of the moment, the halls seemed to stretch out further than they ever had before, and it felt as if they'd never get back to where they started, all the while the Bloody Baron's laugh got louder and seemingly closer. He pulled her abruptly to the left, glancing back over his shoulder again, mentally cursing himself as his breathing got heavier as they jogged. Trying to keep it under control, he looked forward again.

Annabel Jones l Gryffindor l Fifth Year l Single
"Yeah, that'd be fun," She replied, her voice full of enthusiasm. Annabel was pretty excited. She had never been to a party before. She wondered what they were like or if they were like the ones on the television. "We should probably get ready... Meet ya down here." The witch said before turning and heading to the girls dormitory. She crawled onto her bed and stripped down to her undergarments. The girl grabbed a black t-shirt with a white band logo called My Chemical Romance and some dark skinny jeans and got dressed. She pulled on some tennis shoes and ran a hand through her hair to make sure it wasn't tangled or a rats nest or anything.

Samantha Monroe ~ 16 ~ Gryffindor

Sam nodded and headed up to her own dorm room to get ready. Rummaging through her trunk, she picked out the first outfit she could grab; jeans and a random shirt accompanied by her converse. She pulled her hair back and tied it to keep it out of her face, making a mental note to wash it later before she went to bed. She didn't want to stay long, but she'd stay as long as Annabel wanted to. Once she was ready, she headed back downstairs, and seated herself in the armchair again.

Flora Archers

Flora sits in the Hufflepuff common room with a book and her wand on her lap. She wears a short mint colored skirt, a thin white tank-top, white flats, and small white daisies in her hair. She also has on more makeup than usual. She frowns being all alone and a bit sad. She had been planning on going to the party she's been hearing about but her fear of getting herself into trouble on the first day has gotten the best of her. So now she sits all alone in the common room, bored and lonely. She exhales deeply and picks up her wand and a flower from her hair, flicking her wand and changing the white of it's petals to match her skirt then tucks it behind her ear.

    Alice DeWitt x Quinn x Terrified.

      Alice had to run a bit faster to keep pace with Quinn, but she made sure to keep him close to her. She was grateful when he made sure to mind her shorter legs, and slowed down a bit. Alice had to do her best not to yelp in surprise when Quinn pulled her around a sharp corner and stumbled a bit before regaining her balance. Her breathing became shaky after a while of jogging, and was stupidly scared of the ghoul behind her. Alice could tell that she wouldn't make it to the Room of Requirement, or to the Hufflepuff lounge.

      With some quick thinking, she stopped and opened a closet that had been left unlocked - what luck. Alice pulled Quinn in behind her and closed the door, she locked it from the inside - not that it would do much against a creature that could pass through walls. She leaned against the wall wracked with cleaning supplies, and tried to catch her breath.

It was all Quinn could do to not yelp when Alice pulled him into a little closet. His breathing was heavy and audible, and he leaned back against the door for a moment to try and catch his breath and calm himself down. Sure, the Bloody Baron could pass through walls, but as long as he didn't know they were in here, they'd be okay. They just had to be quiet. So Quinn focused on quietening down, fixing his gaze on Alice who was breathing just as heavily as he was. He considered himself to be fit, but in a state of panic you don't really have that rooting for you.
