jeremy beckergryffindor seventeentagged; openfeeling; still sleepy

Slowly, Jeremy woke from his knocked-out state. Blinking sleepily, he raised his head from where it had been lolling on the armchair and looked around the common room. Strangely enough, it was quite empty. Frowning, he wasn't quite sure why; in past years, it had been full to bursting with friends reminiscing and catching up with one another. Hearing footsteps, he turned his head to see a girl stepping down the stairs quickly, dressed up. "Excuse me," he asked, "Where are you going?" Startled the girl whipped around and, upon seeing Jeremy's prefect badge, blanched. "I'm not- there's a party- I mean there isn't, I-" Jeremy held up a hand to stop her. "I'm not going to report you" he said sheepishly. "Go on then." Face flooding with relief, the girl quickly walked away and climbed out of the portrait hole, but not before turning back. "There's a party in the Room of Requirement. Everyone's invited." And she was gone.

"Well! I guess I'm not anyone then" he said to himself, feeling miffed at not being invited. Though that may have been due to his napping. Sitting up and stretching, he thought a party would be an excellent place to test out some of his new creations. He was sure the people wouldn't mind. After running upstairs and stuffing a few into his pockets, he came back down.

Alice DeWitt x Quinn x Amused.

Alice laughed each time Quinn spun her, sending her long, red hair to fan out behind her. She'd had some fun times with Quinn, and being loud in the corridors of Hogwarts would definitely count as fun in her book. She could hear the paintings on the walls hushing them and telling them to be quiet, but she didn't care. When she wasn't being spun she was walking close to Quinn, with her head resting on his shoulder. "I'm surprised no one's come for us. We've made a lot of noise."

"That's our awesomeness warding them off. They know they'd never catch us," Quinn grinned down at her, pressing another kiss to the top of her head and squeezing her hand gently. Not much would change about the way they behaved around each other; they were often loud together, running through corridors and just generally having a good time. There were little perks now that she was his, of course, and he'd take advantage of those perks as often as he could. What he loved was how well she knew him. He was entirely himself with her and he didn't have to hide a thing.

She snorted when Quinn told her that it was their 'awesomeness'. After Quinn squeezed Alice's hand, she returned the favour and smiled when he kissed her forehead. Alice looked up at him, not moving her head from his shoulder, and then looked around at the paintings. "So when does this party start?" Alice tried to walk lightly so her feet didn't cause too much of an echo.

"10," Quinn answered her, looking up at the paintings when they continued to shush the couple. He had half a mind to flip them off, but the more decent half of him made him roll his eyes and look away from them again. Instead he looked down at his feet briefly, watching his left laces drag across the floor since they'd come undone, "We don't have to stay long." He looked up again and down the dimly lit hallway; with only a torch to the side every now and again, and the night dragging on, the school was getting dark and the torches didn't really do a hell of a lot. Not that he could complain, since they weren't supposed to be wandering about anyway.

Alice DeWitt x Quinn x Amused.

Alice nodded when she received the answer. Staying until eleven o'clock didn't bother her, as she had taken her brief yet refreshing nap. But she couldn't say the same for Quinn, he seemed a little tired. "So do you have any idea where we're going - or are - or have you gotten us lost again?" She teased. Another round of hissing from the paints came, and she gave them a cold stare in return.

"In all honesty?" Quinn looked around briefly, trying to gauge where they were. They'd walked further than he thought in the short space of time, and he thought he knew where he was, though at night every corridor in the school looked the same, "I think I may have a faint idea of where we are." He frowned as he looked up at the paintings, trying to see if he recognised them as being in any set part of the school, but that didn't help; he didn't often pay much mind to the paintings around him. Another round of hisses sounded, and this time Quinn didn't hesitate to flip them off.

Alice DeWitt x Quinn x Uneasy.

The colour from Alice's face drained, and hoped Quinn couldn't see it. "Where do you think we are then?" Alice couldn't tell where she was, because of the lack of light, and it made her uneasy. She thought of all the trouble she'd get in if one of the teachers or groundskeepers found them. Alice then thought of the second worse thing; running into the Bloody Baron.

Alice wasn't afraid of the Hogwarts ghosts, but the Bloody Baron was an exception. He made her uneasy even though he'd most likely do nothing other then yell.

"I think we're-" Quinn looked down at Alice and frowned, stopping her and putting his hands on her shoulders, "Alice? You okay?" She'd gone pale, and it worried him. He looked up and down the corridor once more, before taking her hand and leading her back in the direction they'd come, lacing their fingers together and squeezing her hand gently in an attempt to be reassuring. He'd be able to retrace his footsteps, he was sure, and then they'd be back where they were safer. He understood her uneasiness; the Bloody Baron liked to roam the halls at night, along with numerous teachers that would have their heads if they found them.

Alice DeWitt x Quinn x Uneasy.

When Quinn put his hands on her shoulders she stopped thinking about all the possibilities of being caught, and looked at him. She swallowed and nodded once, trying to reassure him that she was okay. Alice was a little more comfortable now that they were heading back, but they where far from being 'safe'. She squeezed Quinn's hand a little harder then she should've, but she didn't really care at the moment. Lucky for them, they hadn't gotten on the stairs and didn't have to worry about the stair cases changing their paths.
