xxxKiara [pronounced 'kee-are-ah'] Evian is the typical Ravenclaw: bookish, quiet, patient. Or at least, so it would appear. At the moment, she is fifteen years old and finally going in to her fifth year, with a nice shiny prefect badge going along with her. She's a Muggleborn, though there have apparently been a few wizards in her family a few generations back - but she, personally, considers herself a Muggleborn. Her older sister, Erin, graduated from Hogwarts two years ago, with ridiculously high standards even for a Ravenclaw: Outstanding grades in all her classes, Head Girl, Chaser on the Quidditch Team and even Quidditch Captain. Unlike her sister, though, Kiara is stuck at the moment with her prefect badge, which is hardly considered an achievement in comparison. She does, however, have a snow-white owl called Zeus, who was a gift from her family when she started school. Since her first year, Kiara's been acing all of her classes, but it's all raw theory and not practicality. As such, the only thing she's ever been really bad at is Quidditch, so she isn't a player on the Ravenclaw team. Instead, all of her focus goes into her studying and her classes - she's an utter workaholic, seemingly never resting from the countless essays and such.

well, she's not quite so.. quiet
xxxMany students go through their school years unaware of Kiara's existence. The main reason is because she's quiet, and tends to keep to herself (partially because she thinks most people in her year are very loud and disruptive), but a contributing factor is that she spends the majority of her time hidden away in Ravenclaw Tower or the library. She likes to gather knowledge in whatever forms she can, almost in a greedy sort of way. Her thirst for knowledge is actually quite obsessive. She secretly prides herself in her intelligence, despite her quiet demeanor. Kiara can come across as a tad socially awkward, finding it difficult to string sentences together. She's very easily flustered and definitely doesn't do well with public speaking. On the other hand, however, she is a pleasant girl, though she seldom laughs at jokes simply because she doesn't get them. It's rather difficult to get a smile out of her simply because she's so mature, but she can be a little giggly if she's egged on. When she does speak, it's in quiet tones with words that shoot out so fast she can't stop them. As a result, she sometimes says hurtful things that she doesn't mean. While she's very sensible, Kiara is easy to hurt, mainly with words that sting, like 'know-it-all' or 'smart-aleck'. Once she opens up a little, she becomes a reliable companion who always tries her best to keep up with her friends, even though she sometimes drifts off by herself for a while. What she needs is a friend to drag her along and make her live her life, rather than keeping her nose stuck in all those books.

She's believed her father and mother ever since she was small. "Gryffindors are all heroes," and how their the best house of all of them. She was sorted into Gryffindor. But are they really the perfect saviours she thought they were?

Sometimes she doesn't want to be like everyone else, or to do what her parents say. They encouraged her to study hard and spend all her time at the library, but she decided to start playing Quidditch, and is one of the Chasers of the Gryffindor team (hope that's okay). She also loves to read, just not for studying.

Willow isn't interested in anybody, and she doesn't think she'll ever date someone. And she never has, either.

She's an only child, and has lived near London for all her life, in a wizarding town, and she's been surrounded by magic all her life. Her parents are avid supporters of the light.

P e r s o n a l i t y:
She doesn't have a lot of friends, well, actually she's had few real friends in her life, and tends to spend her time reading and playing Quidditch. She tends to be a bit sloppy sometimes, but she does have a lot of knowledge. She's brave although sometimes reckless, which suits her house, but she tends to be very ambitious and also has a thirst for knowledge. She's also a bit stubborn--once she's got her mind set on something, there's no stopping her! She hates bullies, and was bullied a lot when she was small. She's sometimes a bit bitter, but some people do get to see her soft side.
