:: Quinn Parker :: Pureblood :: 18 :: Hufflepuff ::

Quinn watched Alice leave the compartment as he slowly drew his iPod from his pocket again and glanced at the screen to make sure he got the name right and didn't make a fool of himself, "Weightless," he read out, "I have a serious man crush on the whole of All Time Low," he admitted shamelessly, adding in a little shrug. Their genre wasn't exactly his preferred, but he loved their music nonetheless; undoubtedly one of his favourite muggle bands. He knew he'd have fun trying to explain the peculiar device to Alice and he'd have to teach her how to use it just to ease her curiousity. Nick was right - as always - muggle music was better than wizard music by a long shot.

full name; jeremy drew becker
nicknames; jer, beck
gender; male
age; seventeen
birthdate; september 18
house; gryffindor
year; sixth
role; prefect
blood; muggle
patronus; fox
pet; king-barn owl
wand; laurel with phoenix feather
quidditch; gryffindor beater
face claim; logan lerman

attention to detail
Jeremy loves a good laugh. From the day he first received his letter, his mind has been swirling with possibilities on how to capitalize in his magical abilities- prank wise. His curiosity is astounding; he asks many questions on various topics. And he doesn't spare the professors either. Fortunately, his teachers (almost) all appreciate his bluntness, thereby leading to his prefect status. He's on good relations with most of the Hogwarts community, but lately he's found that his smile is becoming more and more fake. Though he warms up to people quickly, he never trusts them enough to pour his heart out to them. Everyone lives the carefree pranker; No one knows the boy underneath.

out of sight, out of mind
It's not only him- his whole family in involved in the 'jokes' business, and they own a series of small joke shops. Of course, magic joke items aren't allowed to be shown (much less sold) to muggles, but Jeremy takes pride in having learned from wizard pranks to make muggle ones. Much like the infamous Weasley twins (whom he adores), Jeremy loves inventing his own pranks and people love testing them out.

i think therefore i am
So why is he in Gryffindor house?, you may ask. To be honest, after extensive research on each of the four houses, Jeremy thought he'd be placed in Hufflepuff. In the quaint little town he grew up in, there wasn't much room for chivalry or daring. Little did he know that the you are sorted into the House with the qualities you hold to be most important. Though it did waver for a second between yellow and red.

don't sweat the small stuff
Jeremy has got a welcoming attitude and easygoing demeanor which allows people to approach him. He'll get right into the small talk, which is what he's best at. After playing 20 Questions, you'll find that his favorite color is orange, he loves Charms and Transfiguration, is a proud Beater for Gryffindor, dislikes sweets, and is uncertain about his future. He doesn't know whether to pursue a magical career or inherit the family business, as he is an only child.

lana williams - slytherin - tagged: shay, carlisle

"Carlisle. Honey. I promise I'll never call you a psycho again." The promise was of course completely false, but Lana didn't care, she was getting food. It was like one of the great loves of her life. That and the Quidditch Cup. "I suppose I better get you something too." She muttered to Remus, tapping the side of his cage. The bad-tempered eagle owl blinked slowly at her, basically glaring. "Oh, yeah, sure, be like that. You aren't getting any Chocolate Frogs."

The brunette let out an annoyed burst of air as she turned to the trolley. "I'll have these, these and... these, please." She grabbed a handful of Chocolate Frogs and another handful of Ice Mice (she hoped Remus liked them) before realizing she didn't have any more hands to carry sweets. She frowned and threw the packets of Chocolate Frogs over her shoulder, hoping they hit Carlisle, and grabbed a jar of Bertie Bott's Every Flavour Beans. "Thank you!" She beamed at the trolley attendant and slumped back down on her seat.
"Oh, are you talking about Alice? She's in Hufflepuff, right? Don't you hate her?" Five minutes late to the conversation as usual, she tore into her packet of Ice Mice and threw a handful into Remus' cage. One hit the owl on the head quite hard, which caused her to giggle a bit more than it should have. Chewing on a sweet, she scrutinized Carlisle closely. "Right... what did you do that she didn't like?" She was really just digging for rumours she could spread but she had an interested expression on her face that would hopefully be convincing.

Alice DeWitt x With Flora x Cheery mood, excited

When Alice made it back to the train compartment with Flora in tow, she opened the door that Nick and Quinn occupied and walked in. "Quinn, Nick, this is Flora. Flora, this is Quinn and Nick." She took her seat next to Quinn again and Finn happily jumped back onto her knee again and settled down to rest. Alice stoked Finn's head and looked at the two boys - she knew they were going to be at Quidditch tryouts to try and make the team. " You guys excited about the Quidditch tryouts?"

Name:
Samantha Monroe
Age:
16
Blood Status:
Muggleborn
House:
Gryffindor
Appearance:
Image
Patronus:
Otter
Favourite subject:
Defence Against the Dark Arts
Girlfriend/Boyfriend:
None as of yet
Personality:
Sam's a sweet girl who never in a million years thought she'd get sorted into Gryffindor. Hufflepuff of Ravenclaw, perhaps, but she thought she was a little too quiet for the House of the Courageous. She has a sharp mind and puts a lot of focus into her studies, and is only outspoken when she needs to be. Often, she'll not get involved in a situation if she thinks it's best not to, but if one of her friends is involved then she'll bite back and put up a hell of a fight.
History:
Born and raised in the south of France, in a very posh villa bought with the money from each of her parents' well paid jobs, her mother hated the idea of Sam having to go to Beauxbatons. So, they moved back to London, into a more reasonable abode, when Sam was 10. Shortly after, she received her Hogwarts letter.
Likes:
Being out of the house, spending time with friends, her cat, playing piano.
Dislikes:
Loud noises and Slytherins.
Quidditch:
Much to the delight of her muggle father rather than her witch mother, Sam developed an interest in Quidditch as soon as she started learning the game. This led to her becoming the Gryffindor Team Beater.
Family:
She's an only child, and admittedly likes it that way, with a muggle father and a witch mother. Her family is very 'well to do' though she knows better than to be a snob.
Her cat:

    Bella Cordelle;; gryffindor;; sixteen
After kissing her flabbergasted parents on the cheeks, she handed her large suitcase to the conductor to stash away. Bella shouldered her side backback to her right hip, then grasped the strap in her hand, in an effort to not hit anyone on her way into the train. She doubted that she could find an empty compartment, but chuckled a bit when she did. But, behind her were some anxious first years, who she let past her, and into the now full compartment. She sighed and poked her finger through Apollo's cage. He squeaked angrily. "I know, but it was only right to let them have it," she whispered, squishing herself against the wall to let some kids through. Bella passed no more empty compartments, but she did see one with only one person in it. She slid the door open and looked over at the girl, (Sasha-Rose). "May I sit with you?" she asked quietly, as she tried to juggle Apollo's cage, and save her bag from sliding down her shoulder.

Alice scuttled off somewhere to find somebody, but Nick was too busy hardcore fangirling. "alltimelowalltimelowalltimelowwwwww!" he babbled, literally bouncing in his seat and pulling Quinn into a 'manly' hug. "The sound of my people!" he flailed, a broad grin stretched across his face as he fist-pumped the air excitedly. "Quinn Quinn Quinn go to their next summer concert with me please I'll love you forever man nobody understands these feelings please they're such cupcakes look at them all-" he pointed to the lock screen on his iPod, which boasted a picture of the band, "Quinn please please also 'The Reckless and The Brave' can we talk about how that song is literally just us I mean it's like they basically wrote it for us-" he rambled, all the while making rapid hand movements to exercise his point. Just then, Alice reappeared with another girl, a Hufflepuff in.. fifth year? Yeah, fifth. Grinning stupidly with utter joy, Nick beamed at the girl - Flora, apparently - and greeted her brightly and warmly with a thumbs-up. "Hey there, Flora." he couldn't help but make the connection between the girl and the Muggle butter-like spread. Inwardly, he cracked up but he just grinned at her. Then Alice mentioned Quidditch and, since he was already bouncing in his seat, Nick just threw his head back in overly-dramatic laughter. "Oh, Quidditch - I'm a bit rusty, but come on now - Gryffindor's got this thing in the bag this year." he said in a confident, matter-of-fact sort of tone. He knew that Alice played Seeker, and that Quinn was one of Hufflepuff's two Beaters, but he didn't know what position - if any - that Flora played. Thus, he voiced his curiosity. "D'you play, Flora?" he asked, turning his excited gaze from Alice to the younger girl.

:: Quinn Parker :: Pureblood :: 18 :: Hufflepuff ::

Quinn cracked up as Nick began bouncing and babbling about the All Time Low concert, patting his back when he hugged him and laughing harder still when Nick continued to ramble. "Yes, dude, if I can get the money I'll go with you," he rolled his eyes, and looked up and Alice and the newcomer as they walked in. Small girl... Fourth year? Fifth? Quinn couldn't remember how tall he'd been or how old he'd looked when he was in the younger years. To him all the students below him just kind of melded into one collective blob of students - the only exception being Nick and his sisters. Nevertheless, he acknowledged the girl with a little nod and a wave, complimented by a flash of his charming grin. When Alice mentioned Quidditch, Quinn was not at all surprised by Nick's pessimist reaction. He grabbed a balled up music sheet from his pocket and threw it at his friend's head, "With that attitude they will have!" He turned back to Alice, "Excited as ever. You?"
