Brand new Sperry's hit the hot asphalt with a smack. Rosalie turned towards the black Chevy Tahoe had that deposited herself and her brother to this new school. Everything was new here, really. The kids, the school, even the curriculum was different. Quickly her parents exited the car, enveloping their children in tight hugs. Rosalie, herself, bit her lip to keep from crying. It was a happy day, but Rosalie had never been too far from her parents. From her mother's intellectual advice or her father's loving embraces. Now they would be many miles away. After her parents were finished with herself, they moved onto Roman which gave Rosalie time to compose herself. If she broke down now, her parents would think she wasn't fit for this Academy. Rosalie had worked too hard to even be accepted here, to just be pulled out like that.
When all was said and done, Rosalie's parents gave herself and her brother their luggage and hopped in the car. With tears brimming on the edge of her golden orbs, Rosalie waved good-bye to her comfort zone. A small sigh was emitted from the girl when the Tahoe pulled around a bend and out of sight. As they say, out of sight out of mind. "Well I suppose we should get to our dorm rooms," Rosalie's thick southern accent sighed. Excitement as well as curiosity laced her tone. With amusement dancing in her eyes, Rosalie gave her brother one final glance and a peck on his cheek, Rosalie trudged towards the girl's dorms. From there Rosalie pulled a deep green piece of paper, that included her room number, room mate and so on and so forth.
Roman was not as emotional as his sister was. Girl problems, the boy thought dejectedly. IT was sad to see his parents go, yes, but Roman was more excited to meet all the people. See all the sights and to live by himself-for the most part. Rosalie turned and gave him a kiss before prancing off with a new skip in her step. A masculine smile caressed Roman's features at the girl. Brotherly affection, as most would call it. "See ya Rosie! Don't make me beat up any boys!" The boy called after the retreating figure of his sibling. That earned him a laugh. Roman shook his head lightly, before turning towards the boy dormitories. Any boy that set his sights on Rosalie would earn a serious pounding from Roman.
Roman had already memorized his dorm room number, so there was no need to pull out the paper that was currently crumpled up somewhere in between his socks and shirts. Roman quickly found the dorm that he would claim as his, before opening the door. As of now no one had occupated the space, meaning his roommate was not yet here. A small chuckle passed Roman's lips before he threw his various bag on top of the bed nonchalantly.
