It bounded off, and she smiled. As he laid down two plates, she took a fork tentatively, taking a while to remember how to use this 'fork', but then she took a piece of carrot, nibbling it quietly. She then took a piece of chicken, taking a few looks around, before munching at it. "This is really good!" She exclaimed softly. Her kind typically didn't eat meat-heck, they didn't even eat-, usually against killing animals, but they ate meat when it was already dead, or dying of sickness, so it was usually a pretty rare treat. She thanked the lords for the life of the animal, then tucked in, watching his nervous expression.
"I'm not joking, it really is good." She said softly, starting to drift off a little as she ate, munching happily at the piece of meat.
Crow's eyes widened a bit in surprise. "You do?" He asked, blushing a bit in embarrassment. He averted his gaze when she confirmed her statement and finished his food. "Than you, Im glad you like it" he said, smiling. Before he could stand, he heard a loud crash through the halls. "Bullet" he called out strictly, sighing. The dog came back to his master, whimpering as he held a sword in a sheath in his mouth. "I hope you didn't break it" Crow spoke, letting out another deep sigh. The dog only placed the sword in his master's hands and sat in shame. Nothing was out of place. Crow patted his dog's head and hung the sword in a case.
Ai watched as James left. She sighed and stared at the far wall in front of her, ready for another long day of no feed and a cup of dirty water or two to drink. She listened to the conversation, still baffled at what was happening. Why on Earth would someone want her. She scoffed when the guard made a dumb statement and looked out as James kneeled down. Her eyes widened in shock. "It's your death, mate" she repeated in a mocking tone, smirking. Her heart beat quickened. Finally. Finally, she could be free from this prison. The tears that pricked her eyes rolled down her cheeks and dropped down onto the metal floor.
