Toby awoke with a thumping headache and a strange dog licking his face, he looked around and as usual, had absolutely no idea where he was. Last he remembered was going out with a few friends for a party before he had to start competing against these English riders, not that there still wouldn't be partying going on where he was concerned, but well any excuse for a party would do him good. He rubbed a hand through his messy brown hair as he got to his feet, leaving the dog to look after him as he headed for the front door, stopping in his tracks as he seen the police cars outside. Great. Stuck again. He took of at a slightly wobbly run through the house, going outside to run head first into his stallion Ben. He had to laugh at the stallion who was covered in everything from kiss markings to toilet roll all over him, talk about an unforgettable night out. "Well look who's here. I've never been so glad to see your big arse, looks like you got yourself plenty of female attention." He teased the stallion, wondering how on earth he got here since Toby had walked, and was pretty sure the stallion hadn't been here. maybe someone had went and got him so he'd get home easily. He grabbed a handful of the stallions sticky mane before pulling himself onto his back, 'wowing' as he fell straight of the otherside. He smiled as he lay there, gradually getting back to his hands and knees before onto his feet again, deciding to try this again. He leapt up and this time barely managed to keep his balance, lucky that Ben was a good bit more patient than Ryan would have been about this.
Once finally up and settled onto Ben's back Toby clicked his tongue and nudged the shire stallion of towards a hedge at the end of the garden which looked like it was a bit wrecked after the night of partying which had went on, not that he could blame it. "Walk straight Ben, "Your to young to have been drinking." He mumbled to the stallion who was almost going completely sideways towards the hedge, meaning there was no chance of them getting over it. Then he caught on what the stallion was doing as he turned backwards, going into the hedge as he, and the weight on him, crunched the hedge enough to get through, just really dragged about half the thing with them but it was cleared, and now to get him. Without more than a few seconds notice Ben took of down the back road of the houses, heading back towards the ranches as Toby slowed him only when they were passing what he'd been told was going to be the English ranch, dandering past as he looked over the place before drawing closer to the western ranch, glad to finally be home- or close.

Tristan watched the race with his betting tickets in hand, biting his lip in concentration Let him go now John. He sent the mental note to his jockey for this race who was riding one of his prized stallions, Champion. Since he'd be gone for awhile with Tornado and one of his field buddies Splash, he wanted to be at one last race with one of his other stallions before his racing friend took over the care of them until he returned. He seen Champion soaring of, his strong racing genetics showing through strongly as he kept up with the leading band of three horses, one of which was his rivals. "beat that bay and I'll treasure you forever." He mumbled to no one but himself, seeing them coming into the final stretch as Champion, and the bay known as Sunny Ol' Fella kept head to head, even from his angle he could see every muscle in the two horses bodies moving as they both strived for first place, but there could only be one winner. The crowd cheering in his ears, the adrenaline rushing through his body, and the smell of the race track made him have to try his best to simply concentrate on the announcer, 'Approaching the finish line Win Some Lose Some and Sunny Ol' Fella, neck and neck they're neck and neck, Win'nn pushes forward but Sunny keeps pace, both are going strong, and its a photo finish! The announcer said all to fast, meaning the average ear that wasn't sued to this by now probably would have gotten lost a while back, but a photo finish. great. At least Champion, or Win'nn as he was better known by the track, had a long nose. A crafty nose if you'd say it. He went down to meet his Champion at the end of the track, leading him of himself as usual as John, his jockey, lifted the glasses up over his helmet, "Damn this horse gets faster each time I ride him, your making a mistake taking that other brute Tornado, this guys your ticket." John said, leaping off of the stallions back so he could be cooled down. The scores came in that Champion and Sunny had tied, exactly. It made a grin form on Tristan's lips at the thoughts of how angered Wilson would be to know he'd not be taking home all of the prize money.
Leaving the track to it and his stallion with his friend, he went out where his grand trailer was waiting for him with Tornado and Splash inside, really he'd have only brought Tornado but Splash was like a... Like a buddy for Tornado to stop him from eating the face of of some poor passer-by. He started driving towards where he'd be staying for the next few months, looking forward to see who exactly would be here, and who the competition was. Tristan wasn't here for the winning, he just wanted to take part really more than anything else, and it seemed like a good idea to get out for awhile, maybe do other competitions than racing for a bit of a mix up.

{ on my phone, no fanceh post... }

A velvety nuzzle to the face, and newly trimmed short whiskers tickled the blonde girls face, suddenly forcing her brown eyes to open. Once more Alaine had fallen asleep in the stall, "I've seriously got to sleep more." She groaned lightly and pushed the chestnuts muzzle away from her face, three days of no sleep and awaking at 6:00 was taking the toll upon her body now. Somewhat still drowsy from her slight nap, Alaine rubbed the sorrel mare neck as she cooed lowly, before exiting the stall. Barely walking half heartedly as she eased through the barn, all life had been sucked out of her at the moment, and just about nothing seemed worth doing. At this point in life, the blindie wasn't even in the mood to ride, now that was a rare thing indeed! Making it to the end of the barn, Alaine sighed heavily and stepped to the side, slowly sliding down the barn and resting her head against the wall as her legs extended. Yawning lightly she at watching the little nature she could find with her tired eyes. Maybe someone would come around and perk up the blonde girls attitude.

Today was going to be a long day with moving into a new room and getting my horses settled into their new home, I wasn't worried about Lily at all, but Zeus had a hard time adjusting to new horses so I was a little concerned. So I had my shades pulled down as I cruised down the road with Issac in the passenger side his head hanging out the window and my trailer rattling behind. It was a long drive, but this was a competition I really wanted to be a part of so there was no way I could turn this down, plus it could only help me with my skills. The music was low as the wind blew through my hair and I just enjoyed the scene of tall grass and open fields something you didn't see often in the city. It was a pleasant change, though it was oddly to quiet for me. My drive was relaxing and soon enough I came up on a barn, a beautiful huge barn, a luxury us city riders don't have. My horses were always at a small barn with like ten horses in total though this barn looked like it could house a lot more then that. I pulled up and soon enough I had walked around, the email told us to just get comfortable and if we needed help, find someone. So I stand with my hands in my pockets, I defiantly didn't fit in with my tank top and cargo shorts paired with high top converse a weird thing to ride in, but it was comfortable to me.

It only took me a short amount of time to get my horses settled in, but Zeus wasn't really having anything about it, so I tied him to a fence, so I could ride him. There was just to much energy in him at the moment to stick him in a stall so he would stay there while I got all my stuff out of my Jeep. Especially, the name plates for my two horses, that I would use to mark their stalls which were at the end of the barn as they liked to be able too look out. I spoiled my horses to no end, and I would never stop as they were my babies. Issac was already out and sniffing around, though staying mostly to the barn, probably smelling rats or cats, but even though he was a pitbull he was no threat so I left him there as I went back out to Zeus. He was not having a good time as his head was high, ears were perked and he stomped his hoof with vigor. So I walk up to him and stroke his forehead running my hand through his forelock. I untied him and with a simple pad on his back and bridle I lead him down a trail. Not really sure where I was going I come across a large outside arena, this would be a perfect place to get his energy out. I clicked my tongue and he quickly picked up his pace and was literally running around in circles, running off all the energy he stored while int he trailer. After a few rounds I bring him up to a jump, simple not to tall or complicated and he gladly jumped up, his legs perfectly tucked and was no where close to the bar. I smirk and pat him on the neck and angle him towards the next jump. I was so wrapped around jumping I didn't even there was someone at the edge of the arena.

        My hands tightened around the lead rope as Sly refused to board the trailer. My frustration with the large black warmblood was growing, and it was just a little too early for me to deal with this. I could deal with waking at three in the morning for horseshows where people would be out and awake to help me get my stubborn gelding into the trailer, but today I was the only one of my barn to be heading out. I had a long drive ahead of me, and Sly was only making me grumpier than I already was. So I gave up for a moment, tying him on the side of my two horse. I then made my way back into the dark barn and to the feed room, causing many horses to lift their heads from their sleep once more. I was pretty sure I'd woken half the barn by the time I got a scoop of sweet feed in a bucket and returned to the trailer. Sly was now looking at me with wide brown eyes and perky ears, his nostrils flaring slightly as he attempted to escape the grip of the leadrope for the feed. "Maybe this'll make you load up you fat pig," I mutter, but pat his neck and untie him. Sly immediatly leaned for the feed, but I pulled it away from his grasp. I then lead him to the back of the trailer, and he hesitated. I shook the bucket and Sly suddenly trotted on, headed for the feed. I threw the lead rope out the window and turned to shut him in. I then closed the ramp and door of the trailer, locking it up. I walked towards my door, stopping by the window to tie Sly's lead rope up.

        Six hours, three coffees and two energy drinks later I was pulling up the drive to the ranch. Now I was awake due to all the caffeine I had just consumed, and by the banging in the trailer I assumed Sly was as well. I stopped my truck and opened my door, quickly shutting it as a German Shepherd who I thought was asleep and had been for the six hours of driving suddenly was in my lap with her wet nose on the window. "Shelby!" I scold, shoving her off of me. I grabbed her leash, which was made of bungee cord for specific reasons. I hooked it onto her leather collar and reopened the door. Shelby practically fell out and dragged me with her. My Nike tennis shoes hit the ground with a thud asmy weight suddenly pressed into my ankles. It took me a wobbly few seconds to regain my balance before walking Shelby over to one side of the trailer and tying her up like a horse. Speaking of horse, my big warmblood was now probably flipping out in the trailer considering all the banging. I untied his leadrope and opened the trailer door, grabbing him. Sly decided not to walk down the ramp. Instead, he wanted to jump it. I guess today was now declared "cammie's animals get to make her fall on her face" day. No longer my favorite day.

        A few minutes after tying up Sly on the trailer while I figured some things out, I returned to my trailer. I untied Sly and spent an awkward three minutes of circling, preventing the warmblood from taking off. Sly's black tail was raised and his nostrils were flaring, eyes wide and ears perked, he scanned the area in a mixture of excitement, curiosity, and a bit of fear. I lead him to his stall, having to pull the door shut as fast as possible to prevent me getting run over and a wild horse chase.

Toby spotted a girl coming down and into the near by arena that he was riding past, still not exactly confident right now in riding at full speed towards the Western ranch, he was more than happy to just let Ben go at his own apce and takein the surroundings around him. He drew his horse to a stop to look in at the girl doing jumps on her own horse, steering Ben out of the way of passer-by's to be closer to the fence and watch. It still bewildered him why this competition was taking place, but no harm in watching the competition abit, besides it didn't count as talking of they never even knew he was there. The thought was no more than through his head when Ben let out his loud, distinctive whinny to the other horse and rider, intent to get their attention. Toby cursed under his breath, trust Ben to be the one to get him caught out again, now this was where Ryan should have been the horse, since he'd have stayed silent unless he decided to chase the horse and get the rider from its back. A grin still played off of his lips at the sight he and Ben must have been, besides the toilet role, kiss marks, and everything else over him and Toby sitting rather... unroyally on his back, it was something most would pay to see.
Toby stayed by the fence, it was to late to hide now since he was more than likely spotted, and Ben let out another whinny just to be sure that the stranger knew that they were here. "Be quiet big man, I am pretty sue they know your here by now." He said, patting the horses neck as he bumped his chest into the fence. It didn't take a mind reader to see what he was thinking of doing; Either going through the fence or going over it, either way he wanted to play. Toby clicked his tongue and steered his front from the fence, only for Ben to ram his rump into it, "Catch yourself on big fella." He told the stallion, laughing slightly, "Doubt they wanna see us breaking down their fences with our arses." He added, debating if he could risk going right up into their property or not, maybe he should go and get cleaned up then walk over so he wasn't noticed, since Ryan wouldn't let him ride without eventually turning it into a bronco match- not that he minded that- and ben would be determined to say hello to everyone. Perfect horses didn't sit well with him, he loved the horses flaws as much as he loved them, after all everyone had some, it was just finding them that could be the problem

Tristan rubbed a hand through his hair as he finally finished the very long drive to this English ranch, he had brought one of his favourite and most prized stallions, Tornado Warning, also known as Attitude Problems by some. The pure black stallion was still young, although Tristan was pretty sure his teenager attitude wasn't going anywhere anytime soon, he was a spoilt brat, easiest way to put it. Along with the stallion, he had brought Colour My Rump, the other young horse wasn't used for quite so much, other than to keep around Tornado so that he would have someone to keep his attention from attacking the others. He had came in his red, mud splattered jeep, not wanting to have stood out to much by pulling in a red Ferrari, but the jeep was something he loved as well, it got him out to his other part of life, his horse side. Once he had pulled in, trailing along his black four horse trailer he looked around, having the window down he heard the impatient whinny coming from his stubborn stallion in the back-not hard to guess which one- obviously not amused at still being stuck in the trailer.
Tristan jumped down, helping out the only of his other animals, Haca who he had brought. He was going to bring the dogs... But well guard dogs who near ate the face of every stranger they came across didn't sit well with many people, so the younger, curious, very expensive hyena pup came with him instead. He ruffled his spotted fur, tightening the red bandanna around his neck, resting under it was the animals dog tags. Some might raise an eyebrow to this, but the red bandanna was to make sure everybody knew he wasn't wild, there for they couldn't shoot the poor fella, then the dog tags... Well they were just his dog tags, not much else to say about them. Tristan had dressed in normal, casual clothes, even through just coming from a race he had no intentions on dressing up to watch his Champion running, it brought him more luck to go just like a casual person. That was another bonus about coming here, hopefully no one would know him, meaning they'd not know of his in heritage of money, nor would they know of his race horses... Hopefully. Besides, Tornado would be keeping the others well distracted, he had no need to worry about being recognised.
As soon as he reached the trailer even Haca knew to get out of the way as the hyena made a cackling sound in his throat, pacing the side in wait of the stallions to come out. Once the door was down Tristan seen the Tornado viciously kicking the trailer, as if in revenge for it having held him so long. "Now now big fella, mind not destroying another of my trailers?" He asked the horse, approaching him carefully as he lifted down his lead rope from the side, it was red and the strongest one that money could buy. He considered using the chain to prevent Tornado from biting him or anyone else, biting his lip in thought before deciding against it, he wanted to give people a good impression of the stallion, not the image of a horse who was going to bite them. "Now now, calm it down, the mares might be watching." He teased the stallion, lifting up a small bag of sugar lumps as he offered one to the horse, slipping the rest into his pocket as he clipped the lead rope onto the bridle of his magnificent, black stallion before leading him down the small ramp. Tornado let out a loud, distinctive whinny which was replied to from the excited Haca, who was more than likely just wanting to get involved like usual. Tornado pranced as he walked, as usual being a show of for anyone who cared to watch him.
With the horse beside him and hyena a bit ahead Tristan went inside of the barn, looking around as he breathed in the smell of fresh bedding and horses. He patted Tornado's slick, black neck as he looked around, in an attempt to find out which stall he should put Tornado in. The stallion was a show of with mares, a mischievous devil with the stallions, and well just plain ornery with the geldings, so there was no winning really, he was going to have to find some horse able to put up with him. Unless he got an end stall where he could then slip Splash in next to him and settle the full problem, god help the horses facing them. Once he seen the perfect stall which practically had Tornado's name on it he headed over, hearing the sound of Tornado's clipping hooves stopping before he felt the horse pulling his head back, letting out a loud, protesting whinny. Tristan couldn't help but grin at the stallion, "I promise I am not going to ditch you here again." He said, but it was of no help to the stallion who snorted in reply. stomping his front hoof like a child who wasn't getting their way. "Its not our island where on now buddy, you can't run wild with the others." He said in a quieter voice to the stallion, in the end giving in as he led him back outside into the sun which beated down on them, walking over to the nearest field. He seen it had horses in it, so instead moved on to another field just next to it, opening the gate as he unclipped Tornado from his lead rope, giving the horse a gentle slap on the rump, not that he needed it as he soared across the field, as if to say that Tristan wasn't catching him again. He just hoped that the horse was allowed in this field, and if it wasn't... Well he'd deal with it if that was the case.
With that settled, Tristan went back to his trailer, heading back inside as he got Splash who took it all in his stride, bobbling his head as he walked down and looked around, spotting Tornado he waited obediently before Tristan started walking again, glad at least one of his horses were well behaved in any circumcises. He led the horse over to let him out with Tornado, watching with a smile as the stallion pranced of to see his friend, as if he'd not seen him in a year. Once again Tristan walked to the trailer, going inside to have a look around as he examined the stuff inside of it. Not all was horse stuff, he had everything from sleeping bags to blow up beds, of course they weren't blown up yet but he was prepared for just about anything. He looked at the wall he'd examined so many times, stroking his fingers across the rosettes and ribbons gently before turning back to the boxes of tack which were piled up in one of four of the horse boxes. he had a lightweight racing saddle sitting on top, but in the back was his larger, much more comfortable western saddle, not that he expected to get to use it much here, but maybe if he decided on a trail ride it would come in handy.

        After a few minutes of letting Sly calm down, I pulled the dark horse out of his stall and into a wash rack. I then began the process of removing his shipping wraps and rolling them back up into tight cylinders and folding the white pads back up. When I had reached the last wrap on his back right leg, someone came by with another tall, black horse. Sly lifted his head, watching the stallion, and did a little jump step which caused me to jump back and fall onto my rump to avoid getting kicked. I cursed softly under my breath as the strung out stallion continued on through the barn along with his owner, not noticing. I got back onto my feet and brushed my jean shorts off. I let out another huff of annoyance, and decided I would leave Sly in the washrack for a little while. it was more open and better for him to get adjusted without breaking down a door or anything.

        I returned to my trailer and began to drag my large, custom wooden tack trunk towards the tack room. Even though I had wheels put on it, it was still a pain to drag. But I managed. I got to the tack room and immediatly claimed a space in a corner. After that, I went back and grabbed my smaller trunk which I could just carry. I stored all of my wraps and pads in this one. I then returned for the last time, as the rest of my things could be stored in the trailer, and got my saddles. I had an Hermes saddle which I rode cross country and jumpers in, and then I had my dressage saddle. I happily placed them on the racks and opened my tack trunk to put my bridles and girths up. After being satisfied, I was walking back to make sure I hadn't forgotten anything, and I noticed the same boy with the thoroughbred who was an obvious racehorse. A sudden wave of annoyance crashed over me and before I knew it, I was by him and his other horse. "Watch your stallion before he spooks the whole barn," I snap without thinking. With all these horses settling in, it would have been far smarter for the boy to lead his prancing stallion straight through the middle of the barn.

{ Alaine is open.. }
A l A I N E
- Western
- Girl
- No crush
- At the western barn
- Shades that Fade; horse
"So many stupid noises!" She hollered quite frustrated that she couldn't even catch a few more minutes of sleep, due the rumbling of automobiles, hoses calling from left to right, and the faint annoying sound of dogs barking! Groaning angrily, the blonde haired girl heaved her self from the ground, placing her hands on her behind and whisking away any grass remains that bothered to stick to her rump.. Running her fingers gently through her hair, Alaine looked around as if searching for some lost aspect of her own life, yet finding nothing that contained any excitement to tickle her own soul, the blonde girl shrugged her own thoughts away. Arms swinging with the rhyme of her southern walk, she took a moment to take a peek at each equine as she passed by them.
Oh how she hated this drowsy state that she was in, hoping maybe a little riding time would soothe her mis-shaped soul, the young girl stopped by the tack room.. Grabbing her new bear trap western saddle from the tack room, Fade's one ear headstall hung loosely from the horn, along with my green and blue braided reins. Though the reins held a more worn style to them then the rest of my tack did, that was only because.. Well, their is nothing like a pair of broken in reins that are just perfectly adjusted and cause no wear upon the riders hands. Walking to Fades stall, the stocky well framed chestnut greeted her rider happily with no more then a slight snort.. Oh how overly lovely the mare was, "Haha." Alaine stated as she cut her eyes at the steed before placing her saddle against the stall. Within no more then a few seconds the hour glassed shape girl had returned with her green, and blue memory foam saddle pad. Like the saddle, and headstall the pad held that gleaming new look, and even the price tag still hung loosely from the side of it..
Catching sight of the tag, Alaine smirked and with one motion she had snatched the mere piece of paper from it's strong hold, and tossed the seeming less paper to the ground. "I'll throw it away later.." She muttered under her breathe, looking blankly at the oval shaped piece of paper..
The lion and tiger may be stronger
but the wolf does not perform in the

Tristan decided in the end to just lift up his racing tack box along with his cross-country saddle, carrying the two of them down into what he took to be a tack room before setting them down near a corner since it appeared someone had claimed that spot, and he just had one of those weird urges to set it down in the nearest spot to it. He made sure that the tack was alright where it was before heading back outside, Haca still on his heels as he waited by the fence again, watching as Tornado kicked out at Splash who took it in his stride, continuing to just follow Tornado around and rough play back. Well saying rough play, Tornado was a fighter through and through, defiantly like his father before him, and his mother had been retired early due to causing so many injuries on the track, maybe he should have brought Champion... although still stubborn at least that stallion was in it to win it, meaning he knew a rider was needed by the end of the race. To Tornado, he'd win it my loosing the extra weight on his back and continuing it alone till the end. But, maybe this was just what he needed, time to spend with just the horse instead of all the race horses, Splash was more than happy being a field horse, but of course he'd probably give him a chance at something as well.
He looked up to the girl who was snapping at him about his stallion - now that it was hard to guess which one already, it was almost a new record for getting a complaint about him, but not quite. "He'll settle eventually, Splash will get him on the right track." He said simply, since he always just told people Splash would help, which was the truth since that horse seemed to know how to keep him... dare you say entertained enough to stop him from chasing the others. He glanced at the horses before back to the girl, "Bad start, but I am Tristan, tame one is Splash and wild one is Tornado." He introduced himself and his horses, "And that is Haca." He nodded in the direction of the spotted ball of fur who was watching the horses, as if trying to decide if he could go and play with the pair or not.
