Jonathan smiled at the fresh air entering his lungs. Ellie was right about the overly-sweet smell inside the store. The constant air-conditioning wasn't very good either, so he was glad for the walk outside, where the warm sun could shine down upon the two. He looked at Ellie, goofing off like she always did. An amused look appeared on his face as he watched her. "You really think that I can't get you?" he asked, a playful yet dangerous smile playing on his lips. He stepped forward a little to close the distance between them. "You really think so?" Without any warning, he suddenly pounced forward and engulfed Ellie in a big hug. His arms wrapped around her, preventing her from moving at all. His grip on her was tight and he refused to let go, trapping her in his arms.

Ｅｌｌｉｅ Ｊａｙ Ｓｍｉｔｈ

Ellie squealed, she couldn't contain her laughter she also blushed a bit. Okay, maybe a lot. She had a huge smile on her face, kicking the air struggling to get away she laughed again, she was smiling like a little kid who had just received candy. She struggled a bit more trying to get away before she went limp and just relaxed. She didn't know what it was but she just felt safe and comfortable in his arms. She felt like she belonged. Warm. Happy. Why do I feel like this? she asked herself. Giggling she looked up at Johnothan, and smiled then looked away. Suddenly going all serious and innocent she said "Please let me go" with giant puppy dog eyes, but still smiling, her eyes were twinkling in the bright sun light.

Jonathan held her tightly, not letting her go for a while. His face was in her hair, and breathed in her scent. She smelled of candy, which was completely explainable since they had been working in a candy store the entire day. Well, not exactly, but long enough to absorb the smell of candy. Then, realising he either looked like her boyfriend or the biggest creep in the world, he let her go and took a step back. He cleared his throat and quickly composed himself from that little impulsive moment of his. "Told you I could get you," he said casually, looking away.

Ｅｌｌｉｅ Ｊａｙ Ｓｍｉｔｈ

Ellie looked at him then down at her feet as she walked along the pavement, she kicked a pebble that she found along the path. "yeah" she said looking up at him again, thinking she had made everything awkward she felt guilty "sorry?" She mumbled. They came to a crossing, Ellie looked at all the cars passing by wondering where they were all going.

Jonathan bit his lip uncertainly. 'Way to go, Jon. Now everything's awkward, and it's your fault,' he scolded himself. No matter, he could always make things better. He was good at that, so it shouldn't be too hard. He walked to Ellie and chuckled lightly. "You're really funny when you're so blur like that!" he joked, the grin coming onto his face easily. A strong gust of wind blew towards him and his tie flew backwards to behind his shoulders. Huffing in irritation, he yanked it back to the front and adjusted it so that it looked neat and tidy once again. He then wrapped his arm around her shoulders, not in a romantic way but in a brotherly or a nothing-more-than-friends sort of way.

Ｅｌｌｉｅ Ｊａｙ Ｓｍｉｔｈ

It didn't take long for Ellie to perk up to her usual bubbly self. Ellie laughed, "how exactly?"she felt the weight of his arm go over her shoulder. As they came closer to the coffee store she asked curiously, "what are you going to get?" as they they walked along the pavement they came to the store. Pushing the door open she looked over at Jonathan and smiled.

Jonathan grinned, following her into the quaint little coffee shop. "You know, when you zone out and then come back to reality with that really confused look. What you did just now." He laughed a little, reaching into his back pocket and retrieving his wallet. Absentmindedly, he ran his fingers along all the notes he had in it, counting it briefly. After a quick glance at the menu, he calculated how much he could spend, and how much change he would get. Honestly, he wouldn't actually have to have a budget since he wasn't poor or anything. Smiling, he turned back to Ellie. "I think I'll have a Mocha Grande, and a banana muffin. What about you?"
