Jonathan looked at her, catching her eyes in his brown ones. He quickly disposed of their skittles wrappers, and dusted his hands unnecessarily. "That coffee shop sells some pretty good coffee, so I'm all for it," he replied with an easy grin. His hands flew to his hair, to ensure that every strand was still in place, or else he would have excuse himself and bring his hair gel with him. Satisfied, he then checked his tie, making sure it was still straight and neat. He was about to leave the store, but suddenly stopped. "Then again," he said. "I don't think I should go and eat anything, since I'm a 'fatty'." His hands were in the air, and his fingers doing air quotes for the word 'fatty'. His face was plastered with a cheeky grin, and he smiled at her playfully, a clear sign that he was just joking.

Ellie laughed "Ha Ha Very funny" she smirked. "Well.. We gotta few minutes till our break starts, what do ya wanna do till than?" she asked pulling her phone out of her pocket to check the time again to see exactly how long till their break. "10 minutes" she said and smiled at Johnothan. So far she thought that Johnothan was a good guy and that they got along easy enough, she knew she'd enjoy working here, especially since she had an awesome work mate who never failed to make her smile or laugh.

Jonathan shot a horrified look at her, so exaggerated it was obviously fake. "Ten minutes?" he gasped, his hand flying to his chest to dramatize things even more. The next moment, his entire body relaxed and is arms dropped to his side. A grin appeared on his face. "You got my hopes up for nothing!" he complained half-heartedly. Shrugging, he pulled out a chair for Ellie, before grabbing another one and taking a seat. "Ten minutes is a lot of time to kill. For now, I vote we just take a seat. I'm sure time will pass fast enough, though," he smiled encouragingly, gesturing to the empty seat he had pulled out for her.

Ellie shook her head with a big grin on her face, "wow, over exaggeration much" she laughed. Looking down at the chair that had just been pulled out for her she half smiled, "Well.. Okay since we have some waiting to do I may aswell" she smiled at Johnothan. "So, do you like working here?" she asked curiously, trying to start up a conversation so the time would fly by faster.. As they say, time flies when you'e having fun. She looked out the window, blinded by the bright sun she slightly turned away from the window, she actually couldn't wait to get out of the store for a bit, the sweet smell of the store was starting to getting to her a bit; it was starting to get too sweet after being in there for so long. She looked back at Johnothan waiting for the answer.

Jonathan shrugged and leaned back on his chair. He examined the place, with rows and rows of candy. He was still amazed at how one store could sell so many varieties of one type of candy. His eyes then rested on his partner and coworker, Ellie. He pondered a little on her question. Did he really like working here? "What's not to like?" he responded. "I'm surrounded by candy, pay's good. It's much cooler that outside, and there's a coffee shop nearby. As far as I'm concerned, it's a pretty good job." An easy grin appeared on his face as he looked at her. He may have left out the fact that he enjoyed working with her a lot, but he chose to remain silent. He didn't want her getting any ideas about how he felt towards her, now did he?

Ellie nodded "yeah, I know what you mean.. It's a pretty good place but the store gets to smell a little TOO sweet after awhile don't ya think?" she asked looking at Johnothan wondering if he thought the same thing. "How much longer now?" she asked, she was pretty keen to get out and buy some coffee and a muffin or something, she was rather hungry. She looked down at her hands and started fiddling with her fingers, her stomach let out a loud rumble since she didn't have enough time for breakfast this morning. She quickly looked up slightly embarrassed she glanced over at Johnothan wondering if he had heard it.

Jonathan laughed at Ellie, the rumbling of her stomach not going unnoticed by him. "No need to be embarrassed, Ellie dear," he said, amused. "It happens to the best of us." He checked his watch, a fancy silver-plated watch given to him on his birthday. The minute hand was just before the twelve, meaning that they had a few minutes left. "We have just a bit more to go, but taking into consideration that a few minutes doesn't make that big of a difference, and you're clearly hungry, I think we can go!" With one swift movement, he was on his feet and his arm was outstretched, offering help to Ellie to get up.

Ellie laughed, "okay, lets go," she looked up at Johnothan then looked down at his outstretched arm "thanks" she said pushing her chair out a bit, grabbing his hand she pulled herself up and smiled at him. Once she was up on her own two feet as well she looked around the store, she thought they'd better leave a note so the manager would know where they are."Oh, wait a minute.. I'm just going to write a note" she informed before rushing around behind the counter. Ellie found some paper and a pen and wrote:

Just quickly went down
to the Coffee shop on our
break, be back soon.

Leaving the note on the counter she walked back over to Johnothan, she smiled and grabbed his arm tugging him towards the door eager to go.

"Ah yes," Jonathan smiled at her. "Nearly forgot to leave a note." He nodded at her approvingly, almost as if to praise her for her good job, before shrugging. "Then again, they could always call us. They know our numbers, and our phones are always with us anyway." He tapped his pocket, where his android phone was seen jutting out against the fabric of his pants. He squeezed Ellie's hand lightly, amused at how eager and excited she looked. "Calm down, Ellie, we're just going for a drink and taking a break. I know you're hungry and all, but don't look like your bladder's going to explode sometime soon, could you?" He laughed at her, but still took her hand and walked out of the candy store, leading her out as well.

Ellie laughed, "Yeah shush, okay, you have no idea how hungry I am and how desperate I am to get some fresh air" she looked up at Johnothan and smiled. She pushed the door open and took a deep breath of the nice fresh air, walking out of the store she heard the door bell jingle as the door shut behind her. The wind ruffled through her hair making her hair go all over her face, she let go of Johnothans hand and pulled her hair off her face. She pulled her hair up into a high pony tail, she skipped past him and turned around walking backwards smiling at him, putting her hands in front of her face to block on the sun she laughed a little and smiled at him again. Reaching her hands out towards him, and swinging them back and forth she said cheekily with a twinkle in her eye, " I bet you can't get me" she giggled a little.
