Marie walked to the barn. She slided the big red barn doors aside and entered. She quickly walked to Buttercup's stall and slid the bar aside and opened the stall door. Marie put Buttercup on cross-ties and began tacking the golden Palomino.

After marie finished tacking her horse she led him out of the barn and to a mounting block where she mounted him. She walked him around the ring. Soon she started working on transitions. She started cantering Buttercup around the ring. She signaled the canter from a walk, cantered a few strides, then she signaled a halt. Buttercup obeyed.
