Her eyes looked up to Darklas and a warm smile formed on her face. "Thank you!" She said to her compliment. Looking at the fish that the other elf had caught; Shade shrugged. "I like em' both. You pick." She said with a small chuckle before warming her hands over the growing fire. Excalibur whinnied slightly and Shades eyes darted over to where the horses where and she could see him and mare prancing around. She laughed lightly before standing up and walking over to where the pile of sticks were. Grabbing two sturdy sticks she sat back down on the ground and began scrapeing the bark off of it. When the sticks were completely stripped and was white in color, Shade pushed the fish onto each stick to allow them to cook over the fire. "I love fish." Shade said calmly before turning her gaze to the elf that stood next to her.

The male nodded quietly before returning to his bed. Sighing as he sat down he looked over to the shattered dresser. Im surprised she didn't mention that.." Durak thought to himself. Kicking off his shoes and placing his dagger in the nightstand, he laid down on the old and soft mattress. Groaning with irritation he shifted left and right. "This damn mattress is too old and too soft!" He said to himself even though no one was around to here him.

Ma'Rahka looked up at the man, his eyes were tearing up a bit from the pain he was feeling in his tail. When he felt he had landed on his long tail at an odd angle probably spraining it, yeah that's a thing. Amirah sighed with a bit of relief as the man waved of the incident as merely an accident which is what it was. Amirah was about to thank him when the Breton man suddenly shrieked, "Oh my God it's a rat!". Eyes widening, Amirah couldn't belief how the man was suddenly freaking out over a Rat. "Ah!!... Ma'Rahak! I told you to leave the Rat's alone!!!" She rushed over to her brother and pulled an old news letter form her bag to grab the rat from her brother's hands and without a second thought Amirah slung the dead rodent into the water way. She watched as the lifeless rat flew through the air and hit the base of the railing next to the bridge then fell down into the canal. The sound of the water in golfing the rat echoed around them, "All gone." Amirah said with a shrug and a nervous and awkward chuckle. The old letter still in hand, Amirah turned to her brother and handed him the letter, "Now, go wash your hands..." She gave him a disapproving look before turning back to the terrified man, "I'm very sorry! Khajiit's kits often chase what ever scurries past them." She told him her honey like nord accent caused other towns people to look in their direction.

Darkla thought. "I'll take the salmon." she said. She looked over at Excalibur and Nightfall(correct?) and chuckled. "I think they like each other." she said.

Carolak went into her house. Now that she was alone, she began to cry and wished Durak would knock and come in, so she could feel safe. She cried for around an hour, letting her emotions go.

Shade nodded as she slipped the other fish into the stick and started to let it cook. Turning the sticks to cook all ends of the trout and salmon. It started to smell wonderful. Her mouth began to water and she could feel her stomach was getting impatient.

Once when the fish were done cooking she handed the salmon to Darkla and kept the trout for herself. Grabbing her dagger she shedded all the scales off and popped out the eyes. Shade sliced the belly and allowed all the bad meat to fall to the ground. The dark elf began to pick out as many bones as she could see before taking a bite out of the fish and smiled but soon spit out a bone. Looking over to Darkla. "How is yours?" She asked curiously before looking up to the sky. The moon was out and it was very bright. Shade heated a distant roar and her skin boiled. A dragon.. Her heart pounded in her chest as she continued to eat her fish.

Durak tried to sleep but his mind wouldn't calm down. He lifted himself up and pulled himself off of he bed. Grabbing his dagger and placing it in its pouch, he walked to his weapon rack and saw that his hammer was missing. With a slight scowl he remember he dropped it and never retrieved it. Running to his door and opening it quickly he ran to the doors that lead past his walls. Retrieving his warhammer he smiled and tested it in his hands like a new weapon. It fit perfectly in his grasp and he put it on his back. He looked up to the sky and saw that it was night and the moon was high in the sky. Durak walked back inside his walls and went to retrieve his horse before talking to his mage. "I shall be back before dawn; keep this stronghold safe. No one is in charge but there shall still be order until my return. I just need to clear my head." The male nodded and clasped Durak hand and arm. "Be safe my Chieftan." The male said before Durak turned and went to retrieve his horse. A black stallion whinnied. He had short horns protruding from behind his ears and red glowing eyes. Abraxas was a lot taller and muscular then all horses. Durak didn't know how his father got Abraxas but he never question him. The stallion pranced and whinnied at Duraks presence. The orc slowly made her way towards the beast and he placed his hand out. Abraxas basically growled and showed a set of fangs before he smelled Duraks hand and began to bow to him. He smiled and stroked the beasts mane before jumping into his back. Abraxas whinnied and stood up before Durak kicked him in the stomach. With a squeal the stallion went off in full sprint and burst past the doors of the stronghold.

Darkla smiled as Shade took the trout. Taking the salmon, she removed her dagger from its sheath and began to descale it. She then cut the belly open and let the bad meat and guts fall to the floor. She began to fillet her fish, since it was easier to get the bones out. She stopped eating when the dragon roared. "Well, something woke one up." she said.

Carolak whimpered slightly, she wanted to be with Durak, but did he like her? Or did she mess things up and make him hate her? She curled up into a ball on her bed before deciding she had to get out of the stronghold, to cry where nobody would hear her or see her. She stood and went out of her house, to the stables and got her horse, a clydstale of dapple grey color that was named Ashen. She mounted on the mare and they went out of the stables, into the forest trees.

After spitting out several bones and eating all the meat she could she tossed the spine into the woods and looked to Darkla. "I'll take the first shift and let you rest for a few hours. Then we will switch. If the dragon comes I'll wake up you immediately." Shade said calmly as she stood up. Pulling a sleeping bag from her bookbag she handed it Darkla. "Here." The elf said with a smile before walking over Excalibur. She strikes his mane and he whinnied softly.

Darkla nodded. "Alright." she said, taking the sleeping bag. She unrolled it and opened it up, slipping into it. She layed her bag underneath her head and layed her head on it. She closed her eyes and began to sleep, though lightly.

The beast he rode breathed heavily below him. The was an odd creature but Durak respected him. Abraxas seems faster then most horses he had ridden and it sent a chill down Duraks spine. This horse was a stranger to him. With another kick to Abraxas' stomach the horse picked up its pace as they rode down the mountain. Morthal and Dawnstar are the two closest cities from Gash Murug. The orc guided the beast carefully down the mountain but Abraxas almost trough him of when he skidded to a stop; but thank god he did stop. There was a drop off and if Abraxas hadn't stopped they'd both be falling to their death. Durak strolled his mane gently. "Good boy." He said trying to stay calm before he turned him a sharp left and he began at a quick trot.
