''o━━ LORENZO MURPHY ━━
xoxo' son of; zeus, lightening god xoxotagged; ivy, mikah, ashlynn, dane, red team... xoxolocation; mess hall, red table
xxxxxxthe boy found himself seated directly in font of ivy, he offered her a friendly smile, but no words, not yet anyway. next to her was mikah, he had known the girl for quite a while, having ridden together countless times. she was as competitive as he. most the time their competition was friendly, but on occasion it slipped into rivalry. "good morning mikah," he said politely, "dane," he nodded to the boy to acknowledge his presence. not long after he had taken his seat ashlynn slipped in. he had to admit that he didnt quite had a plan in mind yet, and was kind of put on the spot after what ash said to him, he smiled at her and scratched his head. it was only then he noticed that pilar had slid. "well, i dont see it fit that im the one being counted on," he was by far not the smartest at the table afterall, "i mean, we have an awesome team here, let the people speak, then ill tell you what i have," this was just a cop out for, i dont have a plan so ill just add something to someone elses. pilar swipped the attention after that, for a moment it was drawn back to lorenzo and his plans, he was almost thankful that she jumped back to her idea.
xxxxxxthe boy hardly listened to what pilar had to say, she was assessing the opposing team. lorenzo already knew what almost everyone was capable of on the blue team. he was aware himself that the team would have to be weary of cass, the boy was a master in trickery afterall. he could slide in right under their noses and snatch the flag if they were not careful. when ivy spoke up lorenzo became very attentive. it was true, they had the pegasi of their side, and that should be used as an advantage, anything to win. attacking from above may not come as a surprise to the blue team, as they are or have most likely discussed it, but it will be effective with or without the element of surprise. after she finished speaking ashlynn jumped in with the idea of hiding the flag.
xxxxxxas soon as the opportunity struck lorenzo began to piece together what had been said and make suggestions. he pulled the map over so he could write on it. he threw his hands down to his pockets, "anyone got a pen?" he asked too soon as a second after he pulled one from his pocket, "never mind." he began to draw on the map, scribbles that made little sense, he was not the best with battle plans. "since we are being weary of cassius its best we seek him out first and keep an eye to him, from a distance of course. if we have two people on guard of the flag we can use one of them to make sure he doesnt get to close. as for the location of the flag all i can say is we should either go extremely high or low. if we hide the flag up high i can summon a storm to conceal it, but then again, wouldnt the blue team be expecting that? " he paused to think for a moment, crossing out a scribble on the map that he made to display the flag up high covered by dark clouds. "if we hide the flag down low and conduct a storm far from it we could diverge them away, wasting their time, misleading them to think we have done what could come across as the obvious. it could work, hoping that they follow into the storm. we have to give them the impression that it is hidden there. have someone near ready to attack, if we left the area unguarded they would never think the flag were there. imagine the look on their faces if they believed they were so close to winning, and then realized we had played them." after scribbling the ideas done all over the map, without the consideration that someone else might want some space to write, he dropped the pen. "i like what ivy was saying about attacking from the skies, and im definitely up for it if s is, it may be predictable, but that wont stop it being effective. ivy, you and dane should be used at advantage, being able to attack from afar, i like where you were heading, i suggest you use the trees, they would provide good coverage. im thinking you guys should set up ahead of the flag, that way you can fire at anyone nearing. these are just suggestions though , i cant say i know much of what the pair of you are capable of. it might be best to leave that part of the planning to yourself and dane. i agree that pilar should seek the flag, im thinking if anyone she would be the one to know where to look. ashlynn, if your keen to hide the flag you have my vote, as long as you know where to put it before tonight, it will disadvantage us if we do not know the area where you are putting the flag." he finished up with that, looking around the table for feedback.

xxx★. VIXEN !xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
● daughter of athena ● located at the athena cabin ● currently with calista, fox, blue team ●
cheesevixen stared hard at fox, calista, and aria, as her brother handed the pluto girl a dark bead with the pl-
anet pluto painted on in acrylic. she raised an eyebrow as aria became suddenly very fixated on her breakfast.
does she like fox? it was all too possible; the ares girl seemed pretty friendly around her twin. "huh." she mut-
tered under her breath as she grabbed a tray of french toast from a passing wind nymph, her stomach growli-
ng loudly. as she listened in to fox's plan, she nodded along. it was quite similar to her's, though neater and a
lot less improv like.
cheese"sounds great." she started after he finished talking, "the clothing part was a great idea, bright ora-
nge stands out way too well." she then waved her toast at her exchange partner, cassius. "though i'd like to
add one more thing. pranks. traps. cassius, if you would set up some things here and there," she pointed
at the map sitting dejectedly on the breakfast table, "i've circled some places i think would be nice. do you
see how they're pretty spread out? i think placing them out subtly would me more effective - as long as
one of use doesn't accidentally fall or step into one." she turned back to fox. "the grove sounds great. ho-
pefully, pillar will come running my way." she rubbed her hands together like one of those villains in the old
school styled batman cartoons, relishing the idea to take the bellona girl down. "maybe we could set a wide
circle of traps around the flag. ooo, i have a name already. the circle of doom. i'm almost for sure that s-
omeone will step into one of those. we can retrieve them after our sweet, sweet victory!" vixen grabbed
another nymph as the graceful creature flew by, and thanked her before taking a cup of pomegranate juice.
she took a swig to soothe her now scratchy throat before finally continuing. "fox, i just need you not to fall
into the river - not that i think you will. if the son of neptune comes your way, just think about it. if the
daughter of zeus decides to accompany him - just think about how much trouble you'll be in. don't un-
der estimate sierra or lorenzo, buddy. they'll turn you into a piece of unattractive toast!" of course, she
knew that that wouldn't actually happen. both of the kids with powerful dads seemed nice enough, there was
no doubt that the two wouldn't try to hurt anyone on purpose. "aria's idea is great. daisies around the flag
would be great. make it look classy. i believe that traps are perfectly fine. i think it's just as long as you
don't kill anything, everything else is fair game."
cheesevixen sat back and smiled when aria offered to do military styled paint on everyone's faces. "i'm totally
up for that - think about how badass we'll look!" she clapped her hands in excitement, more than ready to
start the game. "also remember the charm speak power that the aphrodite kids possess. i have ear buds
already, i suggest you all find something to stuff in your ears. just not the guys in the trees, i don't thi-
nk anyone's going to be camping up there." she herself was planning to hawk out on a nearby tree, close to
the place that fox had suggested. she was sure she wouldn't fall, unless something scared the crap out of her,
which would trigger a series of unfortunate events and a possible dislocated shoulder.
cheese"you know, i think that we'll actually win." she nodded at the opposite side of the room, the red te-
am. "our plan is amazing, everyone is on board, and we'll all look amazing!" she kissed her finger tips as
she finished up the rest of her meal. "team blue for the win!" she yelled loudly, making sure her voice was h-
eard from the other side of the room. might as well start rubbing it in. that way, the game will be more h-
eated, and intense, and fun! boasting had always been easy for her. it was a bad habit, there was now way s-
he couldn't deny that fact.

☠ calista greene.
DAUGHTER OF;; pluto---------LOCATION;; dining pavilion---------TAGGED;; vixen, fox, ariadine, blue team
"hmmm, interesting...", she playfully elbow-bumped vixen, "by any chance could fox have two bellybuttons then?" she smirked, trying to poke some fun with the whole athena-thing. although, she'd prefer to much rather not see fox's midriff if it came down to it. calista often had very uncomfortable vibes when it comes to flashing a little too much skin than the ordinary, she even cringed to the sight of topless guys, no matter how attractive she may find them. not that fox was unsightly or anything, actually, she was positive that a good handful of girls were crushing on him... no matter, toplessness was a big no-no for her, and to her relief, no one started a conversation on midsections.
as fox pulled a single-beaded necklace and handed the little thing to calista, she had almost lost her cool despite the vitality that bubbled inside her. she was flattered really that someone put the effort to do something, no matter how small it was- the feeling of belonging was sensational, especially for an outcast such as herself. calista felt as if she could havealmost hugged fox. but instead, she kept her cool despite the obvious look on her face that told everyone she was flattered, "aww fox, it's not the same as burning a tattoo on my forearm, but i think i'll come to like it", calista was already cherishing it. "thank you, fox" oh gods, the grin on her face was only growing. she instinctively detached herself for a moment to admire the ebony bead in her hand, the symbol of pluto; looking down on the bead was a sure way to help conceal the smile that was plastered all over her face. as she started tying the string around her neck, she often glanced over to see the incoming campers entering the dining pavilion. most were faces she didn't particularly know, until lorenzo walked in. her gaze followed the familiar face to the notice board to where her eyes were staring him down in hopes of greeting him with a smile. when she finally caught his attention, their eyes met for a moment, and the son of zeus sent her a playful wink. calista was halfway in the motion of smiling and giving him a small wave, but his gesture caught her off-guard, and she froze. it took her a moment for her brain to process what just happened; in the end, she just brushed it off. either ren was messing with her or he was being a flirt. calista was tempted to check if his wink was directed to someone else, but she didn't want to make it a big deal. maybe he was just trying to throw her off her game.
by the time her team had started perfecting their battle strategies, there was little for her to add. "oh yes, distraction is a can-do! pegasi are always nervous when i'm around", but than again, most animals felt that way about her anyway. "i promise the red team will never see us coming", from there, she pretty much sat back, relaxed, and listened in to the rest of the plans, managing to inhale three plates of waffles, such fluffy goodness. even ariadine's idea of concealing the flag with flowers was brilliant. "as for traps that could be set around the flag, i could set a little moat around it and we could fill it with water. if we put enough foliage to float on top, the red team will never expect to plunge into nine feet of water. if they have to swim, they'll be easy pickings for us", she took a sip of tea before continuing on, "however, we shouldn't put too many traps by our flag or else it'll be a dead giveaway". calista took a second to think of anyone she'd like the others to spare for her, but honestly, she wasn't much of a hater. the rivalry she had between ivy and dane didn't compare to her strong feeling of dislike for aria. if only children of ares were on the opposite team.
"okay guys, we've mostly figured out our strategies. any ideas on what the red team could be thinking up? we're also gonna have to think up a way to defend ourselves. the skies aren't safe for us if the zeus and neptune kids use their pegasi, and the hunters of artemis move like cheetahs". calista considered her own team's line of defense, and couldn't of agreed more on vixen's idea of using earplugs, but charmspeak was a fairly rare gift, so maybe dirt was all that would take to subdue them,"marcie, are any of the aphrodite kids charmspeakers?", most likely not, but she could never be too sure.
she rummaged her mind, surely she was missing something... "oh yeah, kinda off topic, but does anyone have a spare black shirt?", it was sorta ironic that she only possessed one, but it was dirty from the day before, and she rarely wore dark colors to counteract the common idea that 'children of hades like to look goth'.

xxxxxxxx ♛ x'' ♛ xx PILAR RAMIREZ ; x daughter of bellona, test of brains xxx'xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxsixteen ; strategizing in the pavilion ; tagged: all the red team, vixenxxxxxxxat ivy's words, pilar has to hide a grin. yes, she is intelligent, if not the smartest one at the camp. pilar can't deny that hearing ivy say as much is pleasing. then her mind catches up to her [and this might become a problem, if she can't think through her actions before expressing them; she has to get rid of this ridiculous crush]. ivy's suggesting that pilar should be the one in enemy territory. looking for a flag? not her thing. pilar much prefers to have other people do that sort of thing; conflict can be so dirty. "wait a -"
xxxxxxxno one pays attention to her. ashlynn bristles at something ivy's said and speaks up with some suggestions of her own. and don't get pilar wrong, she really does like ashlynn; the daughter of aphrodite, while incredibly different from pilar, is one of the people she's closest to. it's just that ashlynn isn't much of a strategist. pilar winces for her friend - and then loses her chance to speak, as lorenzo begins a veritable monologue. pilar settles in to wait him out. as much as she hates to admit it, and as irritating as she finds him, pilar has to admit that lorenzo has some good ideas. however, there's still room for improvement - and that's where she's at her forte. some people might find her tendency to poke holes in their plans insulting. it's not meant to be; it's best to plan for every contingency they might encounter.
xxxxxxx"honestly - and i can't believe i'm saying this - we shouldn't try to play mind games with them." she clenches her fist. it stings to admit it, but it's what's best for the team. that's what matters, right? "i can probably outthink the majority of the blue team. vixen will pose a problem, yes, but that's not much of an issue. the main obstacle is the human factor. i don't know a lot about some of the major players on the blue team. do they follow their guts? there's just nothing we can do to plan for that." she shakes her head. "no, no. i think it's better to just play it safe. a few distractions wouldn't be amiss, but we can't just throw all our resources into a trap." she jabs her finger at the point lorenzo circled in pen, getting more into it. "not when all of that could be undone just because some idiot decides to go left instead of right. that would be far more embarrassing than anything they might feel if we do manage to trick them." pilar stops to take a breath and gauge people's reactions. "atticus will do better on offense. actually, you might be better off sending him for the flag instead of me. i can be of more use somewhere else, where i can adapt to plans and see what's going on everywhere, not just in my immediate vicinity." also, she really doesn't want to go up against the blue team directly. what if she runs into vixen? pilar is under no illusions about her fighting skill [nonexistent]. she doesn't know much about vixen's physical prowess, but pilar doesn't want to take the chance that she might get her butt handed to her by the athena girl.
xxxxxxx"we need to make use of what we have versus them. ashlynn, right now your charmspeak isn't being used to its full extent. if you're comfortable with it you might be more useful on the front lines. if you went up with atticus... no, that might..." she trails off for a moment as she scans the immediate area for her sibling. he's not right next to her; ergo, he is not available for consultation. if he ends up with a role he dislikes then it's all on him. he should've shown up on time.
xxxxxxxsucks to suck.
xxxxxxx"anyways," pilar segues, "ash, consider the extent of your charmspeak. is there anyone on the other team that would be particularly susceptible? does it work better when you're visible or hidden? that sort of thing." pilar has a vague idea of ashlynn's abilities, but it's better for her friend to determine her own limitations. when it's put out in the open like that, ashlynn will want to measure up to everything she's claimed. that'll push her hard but help the team. "the storm's a good idea, but probably more useful for offense. we have the advantage of the skies. they might have archers, but a storm would reduce visibility by quite a bit. that'll only help us. as for cassius..." pilar thinks back to what she knows about the son of mercury. it's not a lot. "he's a threat, definitely, but what lorenzo suggested will take care of him nicely. as far as i can tell, our defense is going to be relatively simple. traps and stuff, maybe a few diversions, but no fireworks - save those for the attack." her smile, which has been spreading as she gets excited about the prospects of the game, turns predatory. "i wouldn't want to limit sierra and lorenzo. atticus can be kind of loud. if you want to send him out to the side and whip up a storm, the two of you would have enough cover to do some serious damage, and maybe even get the flag. but most of this depends on how all of you rate your abilities in comparison to the other team's." she's been speaking to one person at a time, but now she looks up, making sure that they know she's addressing them all. [she doesn't look at the hunter of artemis.]
xxxxxxxpilar is in her element. there are flaws in every idea she's suggested, of course, but no plan is perfect. it's all about minimizing the casualties. sometimes you can only do that on the battlefield, in the midst of the action. thinking on your feet... although pilar didn't come to camp jupiter with that under her belt, she mastered it pretty quickly. she has no doubt that she'll be able to handle whatever the blue team and vixen throw at her.
xxxxxxxno plan ever survives contact with the enemy. it's how you adapt, how you think strategically, that matters. she ignores vixen's loud boast. pilar's smarter than vixen, probably. now's the chance to prove it.

▬x ϟϟ. FOX COLLINS ❞ x▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬
________( location ) dining pavilion, ( tagged ) ariadne, vixen, calista, marceline,
________he was highly satisfied to see everyone jumping in to give their penny's worth. he was glad to see that everyone could work together--hopefully things would run this smoothly up until the end of the competition. if they could pull this team thing off, this would easily be in the bag. for a short moment, he wondered how the red team's planning was going, but he pushed it out of his mind. that would only give him unnecessary anxiety, and he was feeling confident in himself today--so he wasn't about to drown that confidence so early in the day.
________"war paint, I can dig it." fox said in response to ariadne. "bring your brushes, and I'll bring mine." he knew the girl painted, it was one of those things that they both had in common. but it wasn't enough to let the rivalry die out--it wasn't like you could chat about new paints and brushes on the battle field--that would be just plain silly. fox leaned forward once more to run a hand through his messy brown hair only to keep it there against his scalp. with his free hand, he brought more of his breakfast to his mouth. he was really neglecting it at this point, he didn't want it to get cold.
________"if we're going on a non-threatening note, maybe those of us far ahead of the flag can let a few of the red team members pass buy--we can just smile and wave. that might disorient them. it's always fun playing mind games." he spoke with a mouth full of food, it wasn't very graceful of him, but he made it an effort to chew quickly soon afterwards, and allow an apology to follow. "not all of them though. maybe just one." fox said in addition to his blossoming plan.
________as soon as vixen brought up the big three again, fox let out a long groan. instead of saying anything, he just nodded. it was better that way. all she was doing was looking out for him--he was known to bite off more than he could chew more often than not. but it was just so hard to face the music sometimes. he just constantly reminded himself that humility was a key trait in a good soldier--and he wanted to be better than a good solider. he wanted to be the best.
________"a moat, good thinking calista!" fox sat up straight, and pointed at the daughter of pluto to praise her. he was often giving her praise, but he was just so excited about who she was. he figured she needed the push every now and then, too. he was really just being as good of a friend as he possibly could be. "but how are we going to dig it? do you think they will let us take a shovel? are we allowed to take things with us?" in that moment, fox's eyes lit up. he had an idea.
________"what if in addition to the moat, and traps, we put up a wall of mirrors on one side of the grove? I remember learning this neat trick on how to place mirrors to make it look like the mirror's surroundings, so we can make it look like the forest just keeps going on--and on the other side are our guards, and the traps?" fox then looked at marceline. "I'm sure the aphrodite cabin is packed with mirrors, and we've got an insider." his face muscles tugged at his lips to form a sly smile.
________as soon as the red team was brought up by calista, fox brought a hand up to his chin. "well... we know sierra might be capable of hydrokenesis... so..." he paused for a moment, and then sighed. "so a moat actually might not be a good idea if they send her over. we'd be practically handing her all the weapons she'd ever need. maybe instead of a moat, we can just dig a big hole, and leave it at that. I have an old fishing net--we can use that to put over the top and cover with leaves and twigs." he was bummed about not being able to use the moat, that could have been so great. but a hole could do the same job. "we could put our prisoners down in the hole, too." fox added. as soon as vixen exclaimed the team name, fox clapped along with his twin sister, his smile large, and his confidence in place. "this is going to be great."

ARIADNE STAMATIOS ϟ
xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxwhere; dining pavilion with; blue team
██
██
indentthe girl smiled eagerly and nodded at all the ideas from everyone, coming out from no where like hers had. a faintly cunning grin formed on her face as he agreed to warrior paint. "awesome. i have some extra blues~" she said enthusiastically, bouncing up and down a few times and stuffing a bite of english muffin (covered in raspberry jam) into her mouth. she ignored calista's request for a spare black shirt; she had one, and if she wasn't afraid of the pluto girl she would have offered it to her. shame that she was; she seemed to be a nice girl.
indenthumming in agreement to fox's disorient idea, she swallowed (too) quickly and coughed for a few seconds before speaking, "i think that would be amazing. we could be like 'welcome to blue territory' in a cool, mechanical voice. like a.. robot, or something. that could creep them out a little. or just smile and wave." wiping her mouth with a napkin. she let out a hesitant, single cough afterwards and listened, focused now.
indentfor awhile, ariadne stayed mostly quiet, and it would be a lie if she said it wasn't difficult. "i don't know if we can bring things with us.. maybe. can you make it with your powers?" she looked at calista questioningly, before immediately looking away over to fox. it was as if she thought calista also had eyes that shot lasers and would shoot her on contact. so she stared at fox instead. his eyes shined for a moment in excitement.
indentthe ares child couldn't suppress a slightly 'giggly' laugh at his mirror idea. she wiggled and dropped her fork purposefully on her plate; she was full, and if she ate any more she might burst for too much excitement filled her in the first place. every capture the flag game got her excited (especially when they did battle plans), and it was good she was cooperating with athena today or some of it would be dying. (that probably meant that tomorrow something would happen to fox and her and they'd be at each other's throats. two days ago she had accused him of splashing her red shoes on purpose with mud and they had gotten into a large argument. she had thoroughly cleaned them and now they looked new and shiny.)
indentspeaking of shiny, she remembered the mirrors and that she had just been sitting idly for a few moments, lost in thought. "ooh, that sounds so cool! if we aren't allowed, i'm sure we could sneak some in." she said intently. where do you learn these things and come up with these ideas? she thought, shaking her head slightly.
indentas they mentioned sierra, ariadne thought of the other red members that would be the most threatening. the main person she thought of was ivy, her archery and speed a very good advantage. "and remember how good ivy is with archery. plus, she's fast man." she commented. she frowned slightly as they had to discard the cool moat idea (which even though it was suggested by calista had sounded perfect), and brightened when he mentioned to simply put a large hole. "i'm good at digging, but i'm also good at finding cover from nature in bulk." she nodded and shrugged.
indentvixen yelled for team blue, fox joining in, so she whooped and hollered, yelling, "team blue!" a few times mixed in there. others from their team joined in as well, some slightly timidly but proving team spirit just the same. when they all sat down, she turned her head to look at the red team and smirked with an eyebrow raised, as if to say, 'beat that.' she wanted to say 'matter of fact, beat us.' but she didn't. also, sentences were hard to convey over expressions instead of words, so.. that was out of the question. "it's going to be awesome." she corrected smoothly, a large grin plastered on her face.

⊰ marceline
──────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────
daughter of venus ;; location mess hall ;; tagged blue team
──────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────
by the time the nymphs brought the group their good, marcie was famished, her stomach crying out in perpetual growls. she wished camp half blood had a wider variety of breakfast. sadly, all of the meals the greeks served were strictly healthy. boy, if she had the chance, the first thing marcie would want would be a big stack of pancakes. however the thing that landed in front of her was some variation of a fruit salad, topped of with a baguette and a side of greek yogurt. it was good, she couldn't deny that, but she still dreamed of the strong sweet taste of the maple syrup she always had at camp jupiter. looking up at her company, marceline quickly stowed away her imperial gold daggers into their rightful place and slung the messenger bag over her shoulder. "sorry," she shrugged apologetically and turned towards calista, grinning from ear to ear while her friend talked about ditching her in the aphrodite cabin. "will said sleepover include a free buffet? if so, we're even." she announced excitedly at last, putting a few blueberries in her palm and eating them one by one.
soon enough fox had joined them and laid a large handmade map out on the table in front of it, "woah, nice." she exclaimed, astonished by the boy's drive. he sure wanted to win, thank god she was on the same team with him. the plan mapped out the whole forest and the beach. marcie would have never had enough patience to make something like that, it was one of the things she admired about fox collins, the son of athena. before marcie could say anything more, fox had handed calista a beaded bracelet. it was quite plain since it had only one black bead on it, but still very impressive. the boy then turned to marcie and announced that her was in the works. "thanks." she chirped with a shy smile.
then vixen started her monologue, marceline's mind yawned but her her ears stayed perked up, alert. as much as she hated the athena girl, she had good points. it did sound like something the people on the other side would do, especially the bellona kids, they over thought everything, so something messy and utterly stupid would confuse them. they had the brawns and the beauty but with the blue team had the brains and battle strategists. the only problem was that the red team had neptune and zues. two of the big three. "the ground." marcie finally said, "the red team has control over the skies and the seas but calista here has the underworld. if we hide it under the earth, it will be outside their territory. we can dig a hole in between the two trees? or just make a big ass moat so it's impossible for them to get over it without falling in. as for the charmspeakers, i'm not too sure. just to be sure, everyone should have earplugs. but i've been working on mine, so i could eventually take care of sierra, lorenzo or any others if they come too close." marcie didn't want to say her charmspeak wasn't one hundred percent pefect but it was their best shot. "also, milo and cass, steer clear of water and/or clearings. i'd say go underground but there's no way we can tunnel all the way to their flag, so the dense forest will have to do." she mumbled, "i don't know about lorenzo, but sierra can be pretty damn powerful when close to water. of course, she is reckless, so someone can always provoke her." marcie's gaze turned to the map, half listening to what aria and milo had to say.
"cass, milo: you're the pranksters. it would be best if we could trick the bellona kids, because if anyone were to find out a way to ruin our plan it's then. especially pilar. we should lead them far off course, because the rest are toast without them. aphrodite is, well, aphrodite and the big three and both reckless. ivy is smart, but they'll probably make her a sniper. same with dane. as long as we can outrun those two and not get shot by a frickin' arrow, we should be fine." ivy was good but pilar was lethal, marceline was well aware of the fact. the two have always been all buddy buddy but once something happened, they didn't hold back and take out the other. her mind wandered, trying to think of any other strategy that would be useful. "dude, i've got you covered. i basically live in black. on that note, i've got tons of camo attire from way back when it was in style if anyone wants it. ps: i call dibs on ashlynn. i'm not sure if she can charmspeak but even if she can, i believe i'm stronger. if anything i can probably take her in one on one combat." suddenly, they all started a team cheer, so marcie joined in, very excited for today's game of capture the flag.

✸ SIERRA LAHTI.
‥‥ ‥‥ ‥‥ ‥‥ ‥‥ ‥‥ ‥‥ ‥‥ ‥‥ ‥‥
( child of neptune // tags mikah, red team )
"I wont." truthfully, sierra would be too 'in' with the competition, especially with games like capture the flag. there would probably be some new-found-foes in the game... or friends. deftly, sierra didn't notice the archer, dane, approach until mikah began to speak to him.
however she heard the archer comment hotly: "I don't need help now, thanks." and began wolfing down food. with a jerk of her head, sierra picked at the pile in a more measly way, believing she didn't want anything else. with a glance up again, mikah seemed to be leaving again, oh-so-suddenly. her stallion seemed to go after peoples food, getting swatted away or sucking up waffles for a person who was not looking. he wasn't a bad looking horse, but snaking food bugged her. probably because hers did the same thing. smoothly shrugging her shoulders, the rider had finished some portions of food. with a yawn, she pushed the plate away.
lorenzo called for the red team to join, and donning the table and plate, sierra followed. it seemed she wasn't one of the teams participants who arrived late. plenty of plans had been talked about, none of which she could pick up, the battle of words, being cut of in speech. standing off to the side awkwardly, sierra peered between two heads to see what was up. pilar was discussing plans, and it seemed sierra came right when she began to speak. they weren't on the best terms, pilar looking down at sierra. she loathed that fact--hopefully they could set aside that for now. with a nod to her plan, cautiously sierra spoke. "I can try hydrokenesis if you need, pilar. but it seems they might have thought about everything." blue seemed to be having a riot with ideas, from a series of 'whoops' to clapping hands. "so, we've got a good place to hide it yeah? archers around... it seems vulnerable. 'course, we'll be in the skies, but who knows?"

he slightly flinched as mikah came over and started pulling things from his hair. "I don't need help now, thanks." it came out sharper than he had intended, admittedly. however he took that into consideration, nodding his head. she was being nice, and there was no need for rudeness. however, scoffing down food he stood. she went off... while dane was over to the red teams table. they were chatting about plans and such, while he stood back and listened quietly. they seemed to be okay... nothing he could point out was wrong with them. there were minor flaws and such, which he heard others point out quickly.
he stood to the side, observing quietly. when ivy talked about her plan, he interjected softly, "if you have somewhere else to be, ivy, I can be a guard for the flag. if they get too close, combat isn't hard at all." that was true, he could overpower someone. it depended on who it was of course, but they would struggle. his archery skills were quite good (often boasting about how he could beat someone) but he never doubted the girls' skills too. he just valued his head instead of speaking out against them.

MILO
son of hermes
tags: blue team -/- location: mess hall
----------------milo was trying really, really hard to pay close attention to what everyone was saying. unfortunately, however, he simply couldn't do it. like most godly children, milo was pretty hyperactive, plus his stomach was growling, he hadn't noticed when the nymphs brought his table's food. now that he had his food, milo was just itching to eat it, but if he was eating, he wouldn't really be paying very much attention. he just knew he'd get distracted.
----------------so, as you can imagine, milo had a little bit of a dilemma on his hands. he really wanted to participate in this planning stage of capture the flag, because he hated being known as a "slacker" for not really participating. but, at the same time, he really wanted to eat. so, he sat and waited, listening to what everyone had to say. ariadne's idea was short, sweet, and to the point, just what milo liked, so she was able to keep his attention really well. plus, he really liked her plan, a trap seemed like a pretty good idea. most of the other plan's however, seemed to go on forever. during most of his teammate's strategy explanations, milo kind of nodded off, and his mind just wandered about. he would only come out of these sort of trances when he heard his name, or the word "hermes." he'd gotten pretty good at coming through when he heard either of these two things, but then again, he had a lot of practice.
----------------eventually though, milo's stomach took over. he was ravenous, and started to dig into his food. he didn't even bother to listen for his name, he just wanted to eat. this meal, just like every other meal at camp halfblood, was delicious. it was good in the way really healthy food was good, like, it tasted good because it it was so healthy for you. now, milo did miss junk food a little, but the meals at camp were always so good that he would almost instantly forget about them.

( ATTICUS PREE. )
xx // son of: bellona ' ( tags: red team )
xxxatticus arched his back, trying to avoid elijah's threatening finger. he let out a sigh, shoving his hands into his pockets after he recovered his normal stance. the bellona child nodded, giving him a smiling side glance. "guess you and i are on the same boat," he muttered, rubbing a hand behind his neck, "well sort of." atticus gave up, and shrugged casually. a smirk stretched is lips. it wasn't a surprise for elijah to be disturbing campers. he was always up for mischief. his mind swirled for a second with all the possible devilry elijah is capable of. atticus rolled his eyes, and raised a brow. "id never thought you would go there," he dragged out sarcastically. the children of aphrodite was a strange target for him. he knew that now, elijah was most likely now a target. atticus could just enjoy the upcoming conflict elijah could get into. of course, he would just sit on the sidelines, and watch. atticus was the type to sit back and not intrude unless, of course, someone he was fond of would seem to get hurt.
xxxhe noticed elijah flicker his gaze to a passing ivy, his exchange partner. atticus smiled. he knew the two had developed some bad terms, but by the looks of it, elijah seemed to want quite the opposite. after all, how good are you to have a partner if you can't get along. this is why atticus would prefer by far to be a solo worker. no one could slow him down then. he would just go on his own comfortable pace at his directions.
xxxthe son of bellona gave him a quick nudge at the ribs, prodding him back to reality. he decided he wouldn't make a comment, keeping up to the line of discussion he had provided. atticus listened, curious of his companion's opinion. he was making it obvious for his opinion toward the game. after all, it was childish. we were all demigods, and her at this camp seemed to have a laugh at this game. it was futile, and he agreed to elijah's point of boredom. "true," he muttered, "but, it takes strategy and brains to come up with a plan and tactics." and frankly, not much has been demonstrated, he thought solemnly. as elijah listed all the members of the red team, he considered all their skills. some campers where very talented, for instance me, but yet some just needed to put dedication toward their skills. "well," he hummed, "we would have some potential if I wasn't here, yes, and we have a handful of advantages toward the blue team. I think we'd be fine," a smug smile stretched his lips as he spoke his last remark. he noticed elijah mention ivy, and he robotically rolled his eyes. his eyes lit up with mischief that was somewhat consoling. "nobody likes you," he joked with a toothy grin, "im sure she doesn't mind you. girls just like to play hard to get. I thought you would know this by now?" atticus added a playful wink before they made their way inside the mess hall.
despite the fact that he had no apparent care for the game, it upset his stomach a bit as they seemed to be the last to make in it. it was sort of a combination of annoyance and remorseless. he was fond of missing out details. a sigh escaped his mouth, and he continued walking, following elijah to a seat near the back. atticus decided to listen to what they had planned so far, ignoring Elijah's greeting toward his exchange partner."just get married already, " he mumbled under his breath with a smirk. his attention was averted to his sister, pitching out her opinion, he listened intently, quite I terested in what was going on in his sister's mind, the two hadn't talked yet today, and he wasn't sure what they had missed from their late arrival. he caught her last words, and let out a scoff of disbelief. "making a distraction? oh im just the guy for that," he muttered, sending pil an unsatisfied scrunch if his nose, "you can put me in that position, but im afraid I'll distract you all, so we wouldn't want that." he crossed his arms, and leaned over the table. pilar's plan was not bad, it would be good to weaken some points of the blue team, but he would like to fight as well. "looking at the blue team, I believe that they would be quite suspicious of someone being out in the olen I may be quite loud, but wouldn't you think that they'll know its a distraction? I mean, I'm as careful as can be when it comes to combat or challenges. why don't we send someone who they'll think is more vulnerable, they would attack ones who believe to be weak," he sent a glance at pilar, "they don't know what you're capable of. you know how to use their weaknesses against them, and we could use that as an advantage. plus, you do know how to fight. I'll jump in when they close in on you, and ash, dane, and elijah could make their way to the flag." atticus looked around, running a hand through his hair. how are they all taking this game seriously?
"we need some defense, and I believe the storm would be useful. think about, there will be a quantity of the blue team attempt to get out flag. we could use it to drive some people away. ivy, from what I have seen, you're not a bad archer," he sent her a wink, "we need to get you on high ground so you can shoot blue team members making their way here." atticus pursed his lips in thought. he wasn't really conscious of the plans they had already made, so he didn't waste his breath anymore. to his dread, he found his stomach turn with the beginning of excitement. he had to admit, he wasn't fond of loosing, and he wouldn't like to loose at a childish game. the bellona child shrugged, and decided to keep back for now.
