The wolf rose and turned to face her, looking confused at her jest and distinctly uncomfortable. What? Had the idiot never seen a she-wolf before. Before she could say anything else, Cybil was there and Violet found herself reaching out to take her hand. Picking herself up with just one crutch would have been nearly impossible. Steady on her feet now, she watched the wolf stammer out what sounded like an apology and his name before he darted away and disappeared into a room. Oookay, that was weird. Following Cybil's next directions, she headed down the hall until she finally reached the room. Inside the room, her two bags sat neatly against the wall while Boomer's travel cage sat on the desk. She had senr his usual cage ahead and it leaned against the wall waiting to be set up. Crossing go the desk, she pulled the cover off and smiled as the bird lifted his handsome head and gave the bird equivalent of a smile. Swinging open the cage door, she extended her wrist and the bird immediately stepped up, talons curling gingerly around her flesh.

Ben flashes an easy going smile, unconcerned by the she-wolf's hostility. Judging by her power level, she was strong but he was ever so slightly stronger. Besides, she was a small wolf compared to him. "Aw, don't get your tail in a bunch, toots." He responded, purposefully trying to annoy her. He didn't really care that she was on his turf. Loners deserved a safe, human free place to hunt and this was her best bet. Glancing the way he came, he wondered how Violet was getting on. He could sense her nearby, and for the moment at least she seemed at peace. Probably playing with that bloodthirsty bird of hers. Straightening, he slid a sly glance towards the she-wolf. "Well, duty calls. I'll catch you later, darlin." Turning, he trotted back into the trees, jerking his head towards Serenity as he passed her. He had sensed her the moment she had arrived.
