"Well, what I do mostly revolves around what I'm thinking of. The biggest tip I can offer you helps with fighting, hunting and even simple playing like this." she started. "It's basically this: Don't be afraid to cause damage. Although, something I should add to that on the subject of playing is, you have to know when to stop and where the line is... like exercising control. So playing can get a little rough, but only a little. It's sorta hard to explain, but I'm trying..." she mumbled.

I'm collecting the 2020 Easter bunnies designed by Anouki. They're based on a
Japanese pottery technique where items are repaired by glueing the pieces back
together with a (typically) gold lacquer. It's called "kintsugi" and the idea behind
this is that broken things can still be beautiful, a mantra that has helped me cope
with the latest years of my depression. I've been saving up for a tattoo, to be my
first one, which will also be fashioned after kintsugi. That's why this design holds
a lot of sentimental value for me and, consequently, why I'm setting up a hoard
for them: to remind myself that even though I'm still struggling now, I will get
better. Please help me with this hoard. Thanks for reading. ~Love from Moony

Soren nodded listening though he was working things out in his head, he took the moment of distraction to pounce once more.

She squealed in surprise as Soren leapt onto her, knocking her over. She lay under him, frozen for a few seconds, before grinning. "Wholly. See, I told you you could do it!" she praised, feeling like a teacher with a student. "If you're playing, it's better and easier to aim for the front of the shoulders, pushing your opponent down. Hunting requires you to go for the throat. It'll kill your prey almost instantly if you crush their windpipe; they can't breathe. But I'm not so sure about fighting... I haven't done much of that. Joey protected me more than I protected him." she admitted.

Soren got off with a smile but he figured he should at least repay what Tala told him, "Well I was just barely more than a pup when Dereth and Draco found me. Draco did all the fighting so I spent most of my time with Dereth who hunted. Hard to keep up with him sometimes. Draco always told me that if I got in a fight to bark loudly at the other wolves or bite their legs and run."

She nodded. "We weren't attacked by other wolves. We were the unlucky couple who were chased by bears. I feel so ashamed at having left all of the fighting to him. I'm quite a good fighter and hunter when I need to be." Her tail and ears drooped and her eyes found the ground and stuck to it. Neither her nor Joey had ever told anyone else anything about their past, and now she was trusting Soren.

Soren shrugged, "I don't think even a bear would challenge Draco when she's in a bad mood and that was pretty much all the time more so when she was hungry, which was almost all the time. I have to admit when it came to hunting all I could really take down was a few rabbits still enough for the four of us to eat more so since I don't eat much and Miirik's still a pup."

"Yeah, my specialties are deer and rabbit," she agreed, feeling dejected still. "In a healthy condition, Joey could take down a bear, but lately we haven't had luck like that." She rolled over so that she was lying down normally, on her stomach. The sun was beginning to set now. "Wow, the day zoomed past! Like, in the blink of an eye, right?"

Soren nodded, "Yeah at least a lot faster than it does when walking with few breaks. Heh I don't even know where I'm supposed to sleep" He looked over at Dereth and Draco, "I suppose I'll just stick with them."

"Actually," Tally glanced behind her, at Joseph, "neither do I. We met the Alpha only minutes before you guys did. I guess I just assumed I'd sleep outside until I could officially ask the Alpha." she sighed, but then threw a wondering sideways look at Soren. "Would you... maybe... wanna... join me? Oh, erm... us, cuz I dunno about Joey yet, either."
"Don't worry about me, Tally. This tree is my home until The Alpha comes back." Joey called out, still half-asleep.
"Oh, me, then?" Tala continued, sighing.

Soren grinned, "Sure! You probably kick less than those two anyways so I might actually get some sleep."
