Gaphyte look around before walking up to Horu."So...what's up?" He sat down next to Horu, glancing at the other wolves. He scanned the area before getting up again and walking toward the dens. "Where's Synthia and Enola and any other pack members I have not met?" He stared inquisitively at the others, hoping they would know.

((Ah, I'm so sorry for being gone... I was busy these last few days...))

Eiko nodded, a quick tiny nod, as soul answer to Kari's question. She felt so uncomfortable... Everyone was nice, she knew, but she couldn't help feeling clumsy, couldn't help thinking that she was a weight to others, couldn't stop that rushing heartbeat in her chest. She wanted to say something, opened her jaw to do so but hesitated, her voice sounding awkward to her own ears. No, she told herself forcefully, her tails wrapped tighter around her legs, squeezing them as if they independently searched for comfort in their grey fur, It's hard to talk but... Silence is just so bad... Hesitantly resolute, she searched her shy mind for an opening, active question that would help engage a conversation or simply keep away that embarrassing tight silence. But it might just make things worse... She bit her lip, this was so risky, she hated this, but she nonetheless pushed a few words out of her mouth. "You're Kari right?" she said quietly, her voice polite, barely more than whisper, "Are you new here? I've never seen you around in the pack." She almost smiled triumphantly: it was an amazing sentence in her own shy-wolf norms, something she'd believed she could never have said and yet... yet she was actively diving into the dangerous waters of a conversation.

Kari smiled at nodded. "Well...not really. I was born here." She looked curiously at Eiko, hoping she would understand what she had meant to say. Kari lapped up some water before sitting in front of the others. "Should I get Enola?"

Horu cleared his throat and gave a quick bark for everyone to hear him. "Wolves, Enola has sensed a salmon day around tomorrow, get prepared and have a good rest." He said, before smiling and walking back to work on Gaphyte's den.

Tsuki's smile grew as wide as her face. "Yes!! I will get the most, you guys will see."

Enola smiled slightly.

Liz smiled, standing next to the wolf in the cage, they were in the desert, and the scientists countted to three before opening the cage door to the now microchipped and ready wolf.

Smiling in sheer delight, Kari transformed into her bear form and danced around the area. "SALMON!!!" She was giddy with excitement and happiness. WIthout waiting for anyone else. SHe dashed toward the place where she last saw ENola, thinking only of fresh, delightful salmon.

Enola saw a giant brown bear galloping toward her with quite a lot of joy, and took two steps backward before she smiled lightly, recognising the brown fur. "Exciting, isnt it?" She said gently, smiling faintly, a slight curve at the slight of her maw while her eyes closed as she cocked her head to the sight.

Beorn bolted out of the bar-cage, snarling at the white-haired human on the way out. He ran as fast as he could go, feeling new strength fill his limbs. He ran well past when the humans were out of sight, glad to leave that horrid, small world behind and forsake it for a new one. He slowed down a few minutes out, standing and panting in the hot desert sun. Lifting his muzzle to the sky, he basked in the warmth that his black coat soaked up. When he tried to open his eyes they filled with the brilliant white-hot glare of the sun. Free. Free at last. He now took more care to the world around him and found a place so unlike what he remembered. It was devoid of life, plants or water, simply endless hills of gritty dirt. He put his muzzle to the ground, then sneezed hard, coughing in the newly discovered terrain that was sand but he had no name for, having never seen it before nor heard it in the stories wolf pack passed down. Confused by this, he walked in a slow circle, wondering if this is what had become of his pack. His family. His weak sister. He lifted his head, thinking he had caught a scent of her. Thinking it was the best of decisions, as he had nothing more important to do, he started running towards it.

Vanna padded towards the lake back into the sunlight, leaning down to take a drink. When she was finished she looked up around her, searching for Tsuki's face. Even though she was scared and had hurt her feelings, she still thought of her highly and missed her. She slinked slowly in next to Tsuki, quiet and still.

Horu smiled, going off to make preparations, which basically meant practicing his fishing skills.

Tsuki smiled at Vanna. "Hey! Excited for tomorrow?" She said happily, practically bouncing herself in excitement.

Liz checked the microchip sensor. "And hes off." She said, looking at the dust cloud where he once was.
