SHINY circled around the trunk of a tree then chittered at the one who was following her.

Skullduggery gave her an irritated look before tackling her, grinning and tucking his wings safely against his back as they tumbled.

She squeaked hearing the other squirrel chitter and ran faster to catch up and then grabbed her by the tail roughly.

Kavi rolled twice over, then whacked his belly with her back paws, flipping him off. She rolled once more on her own, and ended up on her feet, mischievously smiling.

SHINY widened her eyes, and stared at the squirrel. "Unhand me!" She squealed, speaking in human, then repeating in wolf, and finally in the chirps and squeaks and tail shakes of a squirrel's language.

Xharsha chittered and laughed. "Your coat is odd! And I only want to play!" she said in the same way the other squirrel did, loosening her grip a little.

Skullduggery jumped up after his momentum slowed, moving surprisingly graceful for being such a big wolf. He leapt for her again, wrapping his paws around her neck in another tackle.

(Oh. Well I am just ignoring everything else and sticking with what I remember, which isn't much. Basically, I just go with it, until I figure out what is going on.)

"Of course it is odd!" SHINY said, drawing herself up. "I run with wolves. You don't think I wouldn't be a bit odd?" She jerked her tail out of the other squirrel's grasp and leapt towards a far tree, catching a low branch and running upside down on it onto the trunk. She scurried up it, to a high branch, then leapt for the next.

Kavi stopped immediately when his paws hit her, then ducked out of his grasp. Her eyes flashed in amusement, and she shot off through the bushes through the woods.
