Merle looked around. It was night and the humans were asleep. She tried to bite the lock with her sharp puppy teeth, but nothing happened. She growled slightly with frustration and tried again, biting the lock and pulling back, her wings banging against the bars of the cage. However though, she soon felt like giving up. Not only did her efforts produce no results at all, now the bad taste of the metal was in her mouth. She was hungry and thirsty, but no one gave her anything. She looked around, her eyes widening in fear as she realized that she recognized this place. She went into a sort of frenzy then, charging around and banging into the bars of the cage in a last desperate attempt. After about 5 minutes, the puppy lay down on the floor of the cage, completely exhausted, panting heavily, finally somewhat quiet. She looked around. It was just a walk away now, somewhere she could reach with just a few wingbeats. She gave a loud howl that lasted for quite a while, warning the others, trying to let her voice travel as much as she could, before it finally faltered. The blue puppy got up again and started trying the cage again, her need to et free strong and undeterred.
Hancock walked around, bored. She did not know what to do. Her green Eyes narrowed as she looked around. Those idiot hunters were going down.
