Zuki jumped slightly then settled down "it's nothing" she crooned because her real mum couldn't

"Their is still hope that she is only to shocked to speak that her vocal cords are not really broken"Feather said hopefully.

Zuki smiled, hiding the pain in her mind. hope. was that enough?

"I hope"Feather and her siblings echoed.

"I hope to" barked zuki, still hiding the fright that burned inside of her, don't lose it infront of the pups, she thought.

Feather and her siblings curled up against their mom.Sleeping for the night.

Zuki started humming the lullaby

Feather woke up when she felt something on her back moving.When she looked down.She was floating "Oh dear doggy lord"She said to Zuki.

"Oh" zuki grabbed feathers scruff and pulled her down, "your going to be able to need to control that, i'll teach you, but maybe not just yet because i have to look after your mum and siblings" she barked placing a paw over each wing so she didn't float away
