I groaned as I jumped off of the she-wolf, letting go of her side.
"I can't do this; It's not right! She's innocent until proven otherwise...Jake, get off of her! Stop!" I snarled, sighing in relief when he complied. My relief was short-lived, though, as I saw the real reason he had stopped attacking. The fae was limp on the ground in a pool of blood, barely breathing. I gasped in shock, my mind screaming at me to do something, anything. What had we done?

Aeris slowly opened her eyes. She sat up and looked at Dimitri and Jake. She growled.

I was filled with relief when the female opened her eyes.
"I...I'm so sorry," I told her sincerely. "Even if you are on Arachnid's side, we shouldn't have done that. It's just... My instinct told me to protect my pack and my mate so I listened. We-I never meant to hurt you. You may stay if you wish, or leave, but I suggest that you stay for a bit and get your wounds patched up before you leave. It's the least we can do."
I turned and grabbed a pawful of cobwebs, approaching the she-wolf but stopping a few feet away, unsure if she would let me take care of her.

Jake walked up with the cobwebs in her mouth.

Aeris growled. "i can take care of myself." she took the cobwebs from Jake.

Aeris growled again. She was strong headed like her sister, Aura. "Why wouldn't i?" She wondered if their was anyone in this pack that was her sister.
