I glanced at the clouds as the rain began to fall and smiled. The sun was shining, glittering on the raindrops, and the sight was just beautiful. If only Aura were here...
Speaking of, where was she? And not just her, but everyone else? My slow walk broke into a jog; I was in a hurry to get back home. I hadn't seen another wolf in a while. The raindrops around me hit the snow with soft pats, turning it to icy slush. I wrinkled my nose at it, frowning, but continued on my way.

Jake walked out of the Territory and thought. "Might as well get some food forthe long winter before most of the herds migrate."

*Dimitri*
I spotted a buck not so far away as I was walking through the brush. I glanced around, wishing there was someone here to help me, like an actual hunter, then decided to take it down myself. I sunk into a hunting crouch and crept up to the large deer, which was staring at a flower. I rolled my eyes. Stupid deer. I wiggled my hips then jumped, springing into the air and onto the startled deer. It thrashed and kicked about as my teeth sought it's neck, scraping the skin but coming up short. The male bucked and I was thrown off onto the ground with a thunk. I sat up and I watched it sprint away, deciding I'd go after it again shortly.

Jake growled and ran past dimitri. His body moving like a machine. Jake jumped and latched on the deer's back, biting into it's spine. He enduced the thrashing. It was weak from Dimitri and it went down after about 3 yards. Fairly qucick. Jake bit into it's neck to make sure it was dead.

*Dimitri*
I stood as Jake raced past me, taking the deer down easily. I sauntered up to him to help him bring it back to camp.
"Thanks," I told him, a grateful smile on my face that quickly turned sheepish."I'm not a very good hunter," I admitted to him, glancing down at the buck."I'm surprised they're not gone yet," I said, jerking my head towards the dead deer.

Jake said "Yeah well I have alot of time to work, no one here speaks to me... You made the deer weak first. You did great."

*Dimitri*
I half-smiled, not meeting Jake's eyes.
"Thank you," I told him genuinely. "Wanna get this thing back to camp?"
I set a paw on the deer, smirking.

Jake nodded and took a leg. He drgged it with surprising strength. Hey with all the time he had he did everything to get fit.

*Dimitri*
I took hold of the deer's neck, dragging with Jake. We took the deer back to camp in silence, as both of our mouths were occupied. I glanced at Jake every so often to make sure this wasn't awkward.

Jake threw it in the Pile that was very low. He said "Thanks man." The rain burned his pelt though they were little drops.he ignored the pain growing used to the pain of the rain on his firey pelt.
