Shadow stopped a few paces from a den that carried his sent. It was faint though since he didn't use the den often "You can stay here if you like he said as he turned and started walking again.

Omega smiled softly to seeing a den, her mind went all warm and fuzzy just thinking about it. But soon was snapped out of her thoughts as he started to leave, "Are you... not staying? I don't want to intrude or take anything from you or take up space you don't have." An ear fell back as the other kept perked slightly to hear him better. Though she was facing him, her eyes were just slightly off from him, never looking directly at him in case he turned around.

"I have this entire territory. It's not that I don't have space. Rather that I have been the only one here for eight long years." Shadow said as he looked to the stormy sky. "Besides you already said that you don't like strangers." He reminded her of her earlier words.

Omega looked down with a sad frown, when he said it, it seemed so harsh. Slowly she turned to the den, "Doesn't mean you have to stay.. a stranger." A glimmer of hope dash through her mind though she was wary of how long it would last. "Thank you." She said softly before walking into the den, looking around for a moment. Circling she laid down with tail over her muzzle, but she could still smell him. Gently she sniffed at the scent, a safe way of learning about him as her eyes closed.

Shadow had heard her words but said nothing as he walked threw the storm. He was only a few yards from the den but the snowstorm made it impossible to see him. Shadow had been along for so many years that he was not use to the company or companionship of others anymore.

Omega looked out the den as his voice echoed in her mind of her own words. It ate at her like a worm in an apple as she sat up, staring out into the snow. Tail thumped against the ground in thought of what she should do, more so what she would say to him. Standing she made it to the opening only to step back and pace in circles. As much as she hated strangers and crowds, it was easily over ran by worry for the safety of others. Eyes cast down, looking to her one black paw for a moment before sitting. Shaking her head, "He's most likely already gone anyways, this is his whole territory anyways. Should of asked before he left, should of thought this one threw better." Grumbling she kept muttering and beating herself up for him being out in the cold while she took his shelter.

"Should have asked him what?" Shadows voice asked from only about three feet away. He was laying in the snow and was already covered over in white powder.

Omega jumped slightly, startled as she looked out the den only to look back down, "If you want to come in.. it's really cold out. I'd feel horrid if you got sick or worse because I took your den." Looking down she sighed softly, ears still flat to her head, it wasn't often she perked them from a good feeling. Against her head is where they always were, were it felt right to keep them. Pawing the dirt she laid back down with back to the entrance, "I'm sorry if I woke you." With that she just stared at the wall,curling up while setting chin on the end of her tail.

Shadow didn't move "You didn't 'take' my den." He assured her "I rarely use it even during blizzards." He said before falling silent again. The snow would pack itself in around him and over him. That would be like a thick blanket. Even if it was snow it could also keep one warm as well.

Omega said nothing, just starting at the wall, feeling foolish as ever. Should of known he wouldn't put himself at risk if he didn't know what he was doing. Grumbling she curled up tightly, licking over her tail for a moment before laying head down. Letting eyes close she breathed deeply again, trying to silence her mind from the chatter. Her lips twitched as if tailing to some one as she started to fall sleep. Sleep was the one thing that could reset her emotions, the one thing that could suppress the feelings. But she always feared not waking up the next day. What if her heart stopped, what if something happened, what if she froze and never woke again. Shaking head she always found it so hard to fall asleep and just laid awake, starting at the dirt wall.
