[Snowdrift]

Midnight waited patiently. He flick his ear slightly hearing Raven leave then he flick his ear again when she came back. The large wolf hasn't moved a muscles since the female left and came back. Midnight continue waiting, his blind eyes staring at nothing as he did, then he flick his ears forward and his muscles tense. Midnight's favorite snack, a porcupine had walked out of the bushes. Midnight walk up to the porcupine but his nose told him where he should stand and Midnight stop. He was just out of the porcupine's reach. Midnight's nose tested the air then he ran in circles around the porcupine and the porcupine try to keep up, keeping its spiky back to Midnight. Midnight then turn around swiftly and he started running around the porcupine again. The porcupine struggle to keep up with Midnight. Midnight's nose and ear worked constantly then he swiftly bit onto the porcupine's snout and he flip it over, then pin it down with his paw. Midnight didn't look the least bit exhausted from his work. He bit into the porcupine's stomach and kill it swiftly then he pick it up and turn around carrying it back to the den that he was staying in.

Raven blinked watching in awe, she couldn't believe how amazing that was! He was a great hunter, she wondered if she could learn to do that, Maybe he would teach her! She smiled happily, she looked at Midnight as he walked away, she padded after hum carrying her rabbit. She was hungry but she would wait. She watched Midnight curiously, she looked down a bit wondering many things, but never said anything about it. She looked into the den quietly.

Midnight walk to the den and he sniff around carefully before he lay down in the snow. He ate the porcupine slowly and carefully then he flick his left ear towards Raven. "Hurry and eat. Another storm is on the way." He said, a bit roughly, not use to the company of another wolf. He sniff the porcupine carefully and continue eating.

Raven nodded a bit, unfazed by his rough tone, she was honestly to hungry to notice, "Okay!" She said eating her rabbit happily, she savored every bite. She looked at Midnight curiously watching him eat. He was strange to her, but she didn't mind strangeness, she wasn't exactly normal herself. She had an odd personality, it seemed to switch from time to time. She chuckled a bit at her own musings as she ate softly.

Midnight right ear flick towards Raven at the sound of her chuckling and he blinked and look towards her clueless. "Something funny?" He asked curiously as he finish the rest of his porcupine. He stood up slowly and sniff the air carefully.

Raven blinked a bit, she forgot that she had chuckled aloud, "Not really" She said, 'I was just lost in thought" she said, "Sorry about that" She said smiling sweetly as she did. She watched Midnight curiously, she wanted to know a bit more about him, but she didn't want to be rude, she hated being rude even when she didn't mean to be.

Midnight study the air carefully then he lay down next to the den entrance and relax. "No need to apologize to this one. Right now, you should go in the den, storm will be here soon."

Shadow stopped outside of the den and sat back down where he had been before they had went for a 'run'

Tulip looked up at the clouded sky the storm was coming in fast and she still hadn't made it out of the territory. She took a deep breath and pushed her way through the snow on the ground. She blended in with the snow except from the pink and blue on her face. She never knew why she had those marks her mom nor dad did.

Omega stopped a few feet away and watched him, her head lowering down a bit more. Hesitantly she walked to his side and leaned forehead to his shoulder. It was meant to be a nuzzle but she couldn't get pass the nervous feeling to do so, so it turned into a like touch instead, "I'm sorry for your loss." Pulling head back she laid down with tail curl around her as a shiver ran down her spine. But her voice gave no hint of being cold, "Tell me, what they were like?" Her eyes cast out over the snow covered ground, watching small flurries rise up then die off.
