Wolf Pack of the Winisk River, Part II ~ ACCEPTING! ~

Jasper yowled and shoved Raven down the mountain in front of him.

Minty found herself lost in complete cold. She nimbly dodge rocks, heading uphill, but was continuosly pushed down in a jumble of snow and fur. Finally she thought she could fight no more. Since she was blind, she didn't see a strange, dark wolf heading towards her as the world became even more black.

Raven tumbled down the mountain side. She dug her claws in and stopped herself. She looked around but could see noone through the snow. She yowled as a rock hit her head and snow engulfed her

Minty opened her eyes and saw.......... nothing. Of course, she thought, I'm blind. She struggled to her feet and was meet by a smell unfamiliar to her. "Who's there?" she called.

Raven Raven gasped trying to free herself of the blinding snow. Blood trickled down the side of her face from where the rock hit her.

[silvanelves]

Minty tried to stay as far away from the stranger as possible. She flattened her ears and growled.

[nothanks]

"Just great," Ratscar muttered, then shouted "Everyone follow me!"

[silvanelves]

Minty realized the stranger wasn't going to speak anytime soon, and cautiously sat down onto the hard, stone floor.

Thunder and Draki nimbly followed Ratscar, the snow buffeting their ears and their eyes stinging.
"Draki! Your paw!" said Thunder, looking towards his friend, and seeing a giant gash where he must have hit a jagged crevice.
"Thunder, I'm fine,"mumbled Draki, "But where is Minty?"

Suddenly, the avalanche stopped, frozen mid-fall. The snow settled gently, and the wolves all appeared where they were before the avalanche.
"Shouting near a mountains peak is unwise," came a strong, old she-wolf's voice. A figure padded up to them. "I am Dragonheart."
Her fur was russet with a white underbelly and muzzle. Her amber yellow eyes held stubbornness and wisdom. Although she was a senior wolfess, her steps were fueled with power and stength.

Minty walked slowly out from behind Dragonheart, cautiously placing her paws on stable ground.
"Hi you guys! Dragonheart here rescued me from the snow." she said, her tail wagging as she saw her packmates all rise from the snow.

"Minty! You're alive!" said Draki, bounding towards her with Thunder tight on his heels.
