Lassie smirked, "Thanks." She then dissappeared into her den.

Jonah huffed softly. He was sort of disappointed, but he trotted to his den, tail waving ever so slightly. He managed to say what he wanted to say, even if it didn't end how he wanted it. He curled up in his den and was soon fast asleep.

Lassie sighed a little and close her violet eyes, falling asleep.

Jonah would periodically wake at night. When he couldn't fall back asleep, he would wander to Lassie's den and lay down outside it. Once he did that her would fall fast asleep. The last time he laid outside Lassie's den, he didn't wake up again. Sleeping peacefully, Jonah didn't want to move, so he didn't.

Lassie woke up switfly, she blinked and smelled Jonah outside her den. She raised a eye brow.

She smiled softly and padded outside, quickly, she licked his cheek and went back into her den, falling asleep.

Jonah shifted in his sleep. Being suddenly startled into a wake, he noticed Lassie falling back asleep. He curled up again with a smile on his face a fell asleep.

Lassie dreamed as she slept.

Jonah jumped in his sleep. He was on his feet, fully awake, in a moment. A small, but loud growl ripped up his throat. Then he looked at Lassie and sighed. "Only a dream." He muttered to himself, shaking his fur.

Lassie finally awoke when Jonah growled, "Jonah..." She muttered softly and sat up, yawning, "What?"
