Smokefeather giggled in her mind. It was clear that this cat was trying to make the other one happy. The other cat was a she-cat. She might have been beautiful, with her green eyes and silky fur. But now, the she-cat's eyes were bloodshot, and her paws were covered in blood. Smokefeather didn't feel pity for the she-cat though. The sense of betrayal was even stronger here. She was sure that something terrible had happened to her here, but she can't remember. She didn't want to show herself yet. What was that she-cat's name again? Right, Vinestar. Or Starvine? She can't remember. But that doesn't matter anyways.

Willowdrift slowly opened her eyes and got up. "Ah, hello little one! I'm sorry, I haven't seen your friend anywhere. Would you like me to help you look for them?" She blinked curiously at the tortoiseshell kitten. "I haven't ever seen you before, where do you come from?"

The she-cat laughed as she was hit with more mud though instead of repaying the favor she touched her nose to DroopingRoses lightly a large smile on her face, "Thank you..." she said warmly her blue eyes soft as she looked down at the other she-cat she nuzzled her softly. She was happy to be in DroopingRoses presence her heart beating faster than usual and her mood lifted.

Vine'stars head snapped towards the tom though her gaze soften slightly as she saw him, "NightStream was useless... She couldn't do her job and refused to leave the moment I told her to..." she stated plainly, "even if it were mine I heal rather quickly thank you for your concern though..." she mewed the last part coming out barely a whisper.

The apprentice let a smile grace her face one of mischief and chaos. "Let's do it! I declare us Best Friends ready to take down that cruel cat." she mewed cheerfully though in reality she felt quite scared and hurt thoughts of Pebble and Night trying to make there way to the surface... They were best friends... They even started a gathering of Chaos together... They went around terrorizing the clan making them cats think they'd get hurt with their dangerous stunts. They were great together.. Though those thoughts didn't surface today! She refused to allow them excpecially at a time like this.

*Starlingkit suddenly looked embarrassed, scared to tell this sweet she-cat where she lived* "Er... I come from over there." *She waved her paw the opposite way she came from* Fallenrain's would be fuming if I told any cat where the new clan is hiding... "And thank you for the offer, but I think I can find her on my own, thank you." *She walked away from the she-cat, her pelt hot. The late sky grew darker, and stars began to twinkle in the night sky*

*Beepaw puffed out her chest* "Yeppery! We are the best of friends." *She mrowed, she swung her arm on the she-cat's shoulder before pushing her down onto the ground* "I'm strong as a-" *It took her a moment to say something* "Grass tuft! Wait- no-"

*Droopingrose's eyes grew soft. She moved to the side of the she-cat before twining tails with her* "Of course." *Droopingrose purred. She never wanted Pumpkinstrike to suffer a day while they were together. She whipped mud off of the she-cat's face before nuzzling her* "Now we have to get wet." *She laughed softly*

*Crumpet flattened his ears, his gaze was mixed with worry, and apprehension* "You need a break. And I mean it. This clan has worn you down for moons." *He flicked his tail towards the graveyard* "Come on, let's go there, I can hunt for you.. and you can rest in my cave. Maybe we can even talk to some ghosts, see how they're doing." *His face lit up by his own words, excited to maybe go on a small date with Vinestar. it would be nice to make her feel better once and a while*

*She backed away from Fennec fox and Fallenrains before flew down the flight of stairs, passing the vine room, before she threw herself out of the door. She looked back before sighing. Her eyes were cold and tired as she sat down. Her fur swayed in the breeze as the day grew into night. She looked down at her paws and flinched* is that... *She touched the string, pulling it. It didn't budge. She stood, tearing up* this can't be real..

*The she-cat looked mentally unstable. Backing away, he went back to the nursery and sat right next to Rosethorn. She looked absolutely amazing in the sparkling night. He began to clean the she-cat's neck fur* "Hi," *Prickles purred, twining tails with her* "We should tell Willowbreeze about the upcoming kits, hm?"

RoseThorn's eyelashes fluttered open. She yawned. "Oh yes!" She purred while standing up and streching. She rubbed up aginst Prickles.

Smokefeather snickered. It was quite obvious that the poor cat was killed, or at least harmed by the she-cat. Nightstream. Smokefeather mused. She'd heard of that name before. A long time ago, the same black cat had given her food and shelter for a while. Even tried to help her with her headaches. Too bad she was dead. Smokefeather thought. She forgot about it soon, however, and brightened up at the mention of ghosts. She'd never seen one before! Perhaps they won't notice her.... Even if they did, it doesn't matter. She could fly away.
