*Droopingrose gasped, eight snakes surrounded Nightstream, she couldn't Believe she would do that* "With her powers, she quickly made a large vine* "Grab this!" *She murmured, her voice now quiet, once again in her sad tone*

Nightstream (Droopingrose)

Nightstream wiped away the snake blood from her paws, and grabbed the vine. She swung herself to safety, landing swiftly onto the ground. "You okay?" She asked Droopingrose, who seemed pale. Nightstream shifted uncomfortably. She knew she shouldn't have killed a snake in front of the poor cat, but she just can't help it. Droopingrose seemed sadder than usual. Her blue eyes seemed even more like they were painted on. "Poor Droopingrose," Nightstream thought to herself. "Such a beautiful cat, yet how sad she always is." Nightstream had always pitied this cat. Sometimes, Droopingrose seemed like a shell, filled with sadness. Nightstream plucked a small dandelion from the ground, and gave it to Droopingrose. "There, be safe, okay? The clan can't afford losing another cat." Then Nightstream continued her search for Vinestar. There is no time to lose.

The silver cat had called, "Thank you FennecFox!" Blue eyes watching as the owl turns into a cat, one ear pins to his skull a moment. And, at the risk of sounding insane he calls a, "the owl turned into a cat." He has his undivided attention on the she-cat who calls herself Stealth. "You know me." Is greeted slowly, he exhales carefully, feeling as StarlingKit comes closer - he's greatful she does. He can keep her safe.

That is until the stranger pushes his daughter! "Don't shove her." Is rumbled, "she deserves common courtesy." Then this owl-cat says something about a prophecy, and he inhales sharply, "please tell me it,... Stealth."

HoneyGlow

The gorgeous she-cat rises to her paws, "ill be here for you, always. " Is told to HavocKit before Prickles, ahem, PricklePaw, arrives and interrupts. "Are you alright Prickles?" Is meowed cautiously, but then the tomcat who - in her opinion- had been unfairly turned into an apprentice is speaking about snakes. "O! Great StarClan!" Is breathed and she offers a quick, "thank you!" Before she's leaping after HavocKit, worry in her golden eyes.

As they enter the camp the warrior is looking for her apprentice, "BeePaw! SecretPaw!" Is called worriedly, she's almost to the preypile and opens her mouth to speak, "BitterSweet, are you alright? Prickles said there are snakes in the medicine cat den!" Shes leaning over to lick the other she-cats cheek when BitterSweet cries out. Another cat kills the snake and she is very thankful. But then there's a shriek --
It's the clawless apprentice, the burden to the Clan. She doesn't have time to do anything for HavocKit besides gasp, but somehow that clawless waste of fur CAN...

She darts forward and kills the snake.

MossPaw

The apprentice had gone to sleep in the medicine cat den, she's felt under the weather since the fire; curled in a nest that was once FallenRains (her fathers') she tried to comfort herself. Unfortunately her memory isn't the greatest...

Some commotion causes the pretty, young calico to awaken, and she stands up quickly- stumbling forward. Pain registers on her rather round face and she looks down. "Snakes!" Is called before she quietly disposes of the animals. The apprentice kills them, one after another, laying their bodies one by one in a line. There's nine of various sizes, including a mother snake. (She doesn't know she'd missed one, not yet.)

She's been bitten two times.

"VineStar." Says the young she-cat, stumbling from the medicine cat den, "VineStar...I...I killed the snakes. All the..snakes... in the.. medicine cat den." the apprentice blinks at the blurriness of her vision. "Kits are safe." She sees HavocKit enter camp, sees as they come closer to their mother. Sees as a snake prepares to kill the kit - or at least poison them. "NO!" Shrieks the clawless cat, leaping powerfully from beside the leader of NettleClan and landing between the kit and the serpent. The bite that sinks into her ribs is the most painful yet. She knows she can't reach it, without even trying.

She doesn't see HoneyGlow kill the snake with a snarl. Doesn't see if HavocKit is alright or not. But she believes that she is. "I Love you..Havoc-" and she's unconscious.

~ Bittersweet ~

OPEN/Mosspaw

NO !

*Bittersweet's scream sounded most like an agonizing, torturous heartrending sound*

*In Bittersweet's rage, she ran towards Mosspaw's side, slamming both Beepaw and Secretpaw to the side. Her eyes filled with tears* *Rage filled in her eyes as she began to repeat the same words over, and over, and over in her head*

*She shoved her claws deep into the dirt, sobbing over Mosspaw's almost lifeless body*

~ Prickles ~

Mosspaw/Rosethorn

*Prickles heard the gut-wrenching scream overheard and whipped around to hide somewhere and cover his ears. In the turmoil, he only screamed one name* "Rosethorn!"

~ Beepaw ~

Mosspaw/Secretpaw/Bittersweet

*Beepaw was suddenly knocked over, falling beside Secretpaw. Embarrassed, she quickly got up and pulled Secretpaw up to her paws before looking over. Her eyes were wide; petrified at seeing Mosspaw's lifeless body. She ran to her sob, tearing up* "Mosspaw!"

~ Stealth ~

*Stealth dipped her head, making her stance tall* Tick tock goes the clock that never seems to stop. Second minute hour day week month year years. Tick Tock stops like the beating of a heart. Stuck in a box that feeds off of shhhhhhhhhh............. No time for Nettle walks on black tops to topple down your bands.

~ Droopingrose ~

Nightstream

*Droopingrose slowly looked at the she-cat and smiled lightly* "Thank you," *The she-cat whispered, before weaving the dandelion into her beautiful tail. She watched her go before she sat close to Pumpkinstrike's side, her gaze grew into a horror-stricken state when Bittersweet screamed in agonizing pain before Droopingrose covered her ears in a panicked twist*

~ Crumpet ~

*Crumpet pressed against Vinestars side, hoping she wouldn't crumble over the impending doom. The screams felt like they would crack his ears wide open* Shes going to kill me after this...

Nightstream (Mosspaw,Bittersweet,Droopingrose)

Nightstream, ran, but not for a long time before she heard the agonizing screams of Bittersweet. She turned around, dashing towards the sound. Then, she saw Mosspaw’s limp body on the ground, and Bittersweet’s tortured cries. Nightstream’s face paled. She quickly ran towards, examining Mosspaw and trying to drag away Bittersweet. ”Come on, Bittersweet, it’s okay, Mosspaw is not going to die. But if we don’t do anything, she wouldn’t survive.” Nightstream shouted over the sounds of panic and the heartbreaking cries of Bittersweet. “Bittersweet, look at me.” She turned the she-cat over and looked at her in the eyes. “Mosspaw is NOT going to die. Not on my watch. Now calm down. Please.” Nightstream almost pleaded. She felt like she was about to break, but she can’t. All these cats are waiting for her to say something, to heal these cats like she always did. Nightstream pushed Bittersweet away gently, before looking at the wound and the dead snake on the floor. The wound was deep, with blood flowing out. The snake’s fangs are still visible. Luckily, it didn’t have enough time to eject its poison into the poor cat. Nightstream shouted at the crowd. “This wound is too deep. Snakeroot won’t work. We need something stronger. Some kind of plant that stops blood flow. She glanced at Droopingrose, who looked like she was about to faint. “Droopingrose, I’m sorry to bother you, but do you know any flowers that stops blood flow?” Nightstream then turned around, and slumped besides Mosspaw. She felt so helpless. But she can’t show it. Not in front of everyone.

Shadow kit was trotting around the camp bored when she heard Bittersweet's scream. Shadowkit had to know what was going on so she ran as fast as she could to Bittersweet. Mosspaw was limp on the ground. Shadowkit could feel tears streaming down her face. "Sister?" She asked shakily. Shadowkit looked up at the two adult cats. "I-Is she going to be ok?" She mewed. She was still crying hard. Mosspaw had invited Shadowkit into her family. Mosspaw was the only family Shadowkit had left, she couldnt die.

Nightstream looked at the crying kit, and shook her head tiredly. "We could only try. Then we see if she lives or not. There is no way of telling. " The kit cried even harder. Nightstream fumbled with her claws. She's good at fighting and curing cats, but emotions? Nightstream never knew how to deal with them. She'd seen countless cats die. Some were loving mates. Some were family members. Some were kits. But she never cried when they died, not once. Not because she didn't want to, but because she can't. Once, a very long time ago, when she was still a kittypet named Paws, She loved everyone. But her heart broke when she was abandoned. Now, she felt as if she could never recover. Nightstream patted the sobbing kit softly. This was all she could do.

Shadowkit dried her tears. "What can I do?" She asked slowly. The kit was still shocked. Her own sister could die! "I have to be brave." She mumered in her baby voice to herself.

Nightstream sighed. "If you want to help, just stay here and keep an eye on your sister. If she starts to foam at her mouth or if her gums turn white, call me, alright? I'm going to go get some herbs to help your sister." She meowed as gently as she could at the small kit.
