As they came to the medicine den the kit didn't bother announcing their presence as they padded into the den getting sprayed by the waterfall that cascaded over parts of the entrance. Head held high and back turned to Rosethorn the looked around calling their brothers name searching for their adopted sibling.

She blinks dumbly at where they used to be, what just happened. She turns her head to watch them leave in confusion. Whatever just happened is none of her business. She holds her breath when FallenRains shifts, She hopes that he isn’t waking up. When he mumbles something incoherently and falls silent once more, she gives a sigh in relief. Looks like she will be here for a long time. It's ok, she has nowhere to be; until sundown anyways and that's a long way off.

LostKit groaned as he was told not to fall asleep, but sleep was so welcoming. He didn't want the world to keep on spinning, he wanted it to stop moving. He heard voices, muffled from the nauseating dizziness he was experiencing. He slumped a little, sleep slowly beginning to take over him, even though he knew he shouldn't be falling asleep.

It's just a while later when blue eyes flutter open halfway and he rubs his chin along a warm shoulder sleepily. Wait. Warm shoulder? What?? Blinking open his eyes his purr grows - she'd..she'd... she'd stayed? Where did everyone else go? Did he fall asleep on them? Were they angry with him?

he medicine cat offers a sweet, sleepy smile as he works on waking up. This is certainly a first for the silver pelted healer, but he privately hopes it's not the last. Its..It's...nice.

He feels safe, comforted... loved?

FallenRains hums lowly, gaging the time - it's not morning, so he hadn't slept through the night. What had woken him? He doesn't know. "Afternoon, " is said in a sleep slurred voice, rough from disuse or sleep or both. Does he thank her for staying? Play it off? He doesn't think playing it off is the way to go.

He doesn't realize that he's in MistStrikes' personal space, that he's half laying on the warrior, just that he's warm, full, comfortable and just woken up.

“Good Afternoon to you” she chuckles. He's cute when he’s sleep groggy. “You still have some time if you are still tired? I can lay here with you until sunset if you want.” Hoping he'd fall back asleep, not only does he need it but, it's nice to have someone there with you in the silence.

He isn't sure what woke him still, and he doesn't move from where he lays curled up with the female warrior. His mind does drift to his dream, or was it a vision? Blue eyes blink sleepily at her, and he wonders how the twolegs rub their eyes with their paws. "I don't mind staying put." Is answered, groggy from his forty-five minute nap, "if you don't mind. "

He's never been good with clan traditions of intimacy, such as sharing tongues. And, he knows that his purring is subpar. The silver cat stretches one paw before tucking it back under his floofy tail. "Whered everyone go? Are they quite upset with me?" A note of self loathing fills his voice: had he ruined his friendships?

“Umm RoseThorn made Bitterpaw go check on Lostkit, like she tried to make you do. Then I suggested for her to go check on him herself, it's her job after all. And HavocKit decided to go with her to see their brother. It's been just me and you here for a while. So, no there not upset with you. If anything they're upset with me.” she said while smoothing his sleep ruffle fur. "I can stay until sundown, then I have to do my job."

"Did... did you stay awake for me?" Is asked with a measure of awe in his otherwise humble voice. The blue eyed cat has to blink back the emotional tears that threatened to fall, so touched is he because of her care. "I hope I haven't bothered you?"

He offers a half a lick to share tongues with her, not entirely certain of if he's doing it right. After all, no-one has shared tongues with him, or even offered to in his entire life... he's sort of a pariah (but not quite.)

How long is a while?

Is Bitterpaw angry with him for falling asleep, even though she'd made him promise to rest? He winces, privately, because of the news that RoseThorn had forced his apprentice to do his job. He hadn't wanted that to happen...

I might as well be on guard for you so you could get some decent sleep.” with one final lick she finished her grooming of him. “Ha I just noticed we almost match, I’m just more of a bluey color to your white.” She chuckles holding her paw next to his, and she's right his fur is more white to her blue.
