Althea snorted at Bulk’s enthusiasm and ignorance . “Risen is older than you, surely he could easily fight an apprentice.” Althea said this while briefly holding eye contact with Risen. It wss almost like she was challenging him to fight Bulk. Risen looked anxious after telling Bulk off. Althea knew how to play mind games, and she sometimes took this to her advantage, this time, just for amusement.

SweetFur nodded at Freya and Eris "Freya, I assume Eris has caught you up on what is happening? We are going to Dusk Pack to inform Darcia about humans. In the case he tries anything I am hoping you will be able to help step in." she said softly. Looking at Autumn and River she gave her daughter a stare, challenging her for a moment to see if she would back down from going. When River stood her ground SweetFur sighed before breaking the gaze. "Alright, Lets go then." she said before heading towards the entrance of camp.

Indigo smiled softly in understanding at what Lex was saying "Okay, then don't take the day off - come supervise a hunt or I can join you on a patrol of the borders." she said with a small wag of her tail. "Just because I hunt primarily doesn't mean I can't defend the pack if anything were to happen" she said softly, hoping the fighter would take the reach to at least try to relax. Indigo looked towards the training and added "Besides - if anything were to even happen, the camp is heavily protected right now." Indigo offered a slight nudge to try and lighten the mood.

He glanced at Roselle, who had inserted herself into the conversation - literally. She had put herself between himself and Bulk. The fur rose on the back of his neck as Roselle had defended him "It's okay Roselle" he pushed past the Beta and nodded "Thank you. But this is my argument" he said before Althea's voice rang in his ears. He flicked his attention towards her as she had mentioned he could take down an apprentice. He met her gaze and saw the challenging look in her eyes. Not wanting to seem like a baby - he burned his gaze into her before breaking it and taking a step towards Bulk. He locked his gaze onto the apprentice / heir "You think you're all that because Blaze - Blaze of all wolves taught you how to fight that you can win anything? He taught you to attack rather defend." he stated flatly

Althea sat back, satisfied with the result. She figured Risen might have left, and Althea knew this fight would be interesting. She then turned to look at Roselle, who protested against the fight. She made eye contact with Roselle with a slight smile, telling her she had been the reason for Risen’s decision with her expression. She normally was a gentle, obedient medic who did what her higher - ups requested, but this is how she got by with tricky foxes or rouge wolves. Little mind games. Althea found it fun sometimes to toy with others’ emotions, though she knew it was wrong. Fun was fun. And she knew Bulk and Risen’s fight would definitely be fun to watch.

The large she wolf couldn't help but let a small chuckle escape her as she followed the huntress's eye line to the young wolves training within the camp. She didn't chuckle out of hilarity, and hoped Indigo wouldn't take it that way. The chuckle was one of nervousness. Nervousness of letting new wolves onto the battle field, she could only protect so many in the midst of battle. However, she had faith in her lead warrior. He had taught her, after all. But she had trained for years, and still didn't always win.
The huntress nudged Lex, bringing her out of her thoughts and back into the present. Lex let her eyes soften, and dropped her front legs, stretching her long back. "I suppose the pack is probably getting hungry, and a hunt would be good for me." Lex, however, had never been good at hunting. The prey was always too fast, or too small for her large paws to grasp. She never got the hang of it, so enjoyed to go along on hunting trips and soak in as much information as she could. She glanced back at the pack one more time, making sure everyone was accounted for before continuing. "Blaze should be able to handle things here, lead the way." Lex couldn't help but be nervous leaving camp, after all the Alpha told them all to stay. But she also knew the pack had to eat, so if there would be a punishment she would endure it later.

Golden

Golden listened to the hunter, taking in his every word. She smiled at the similarity and kept a mental note for later about it. "Thank you " Golden said softly. She was glad that the hunter had taken her out of camp to hunt, and hoped she was not being a nuisance. To make up for it, she made it a mission for herself to try to catch the largest beaver to impress him.

Autumn

The lead medic nodded at what River had said, feeling a bit relieved that someone will be at camp to take care of it for the time being. She turned her attention to the alpha and and considered what she said. "What do you think Darcia's response will be when you come into their territory?" Autumn asked, curious but worried for the forming group. Once everyone had gotten together, she followed the alpha closely, her tail tucking between her legs without her realizing it.

Bulk

Bulk stood up, his ears pricked up at the response he got from the delta. He wagged his tail freely, excited by the reaction he had gotten from the other wolf. He knew not to stir up trouble, but the thought of keeping his mouth shut felt impossible. He noticed the older wolf took a step forward towards him, but he kept his ground. "Well Risen, I don't think it's smart of YOU of all wolves to talk about Blaze like that. You should put a little more respect on his name."

Darcia
Dusk Pack- Alpha - Tags: Haru, Hawkeye, Azazel
Disbelief filled the alpha wolf. Were these loners that sad to not be able to even take care of their own pups? The alpha thought for a moment then asked Hawkeye, looking for her opinion, "Do you think Azazel could take on two pups? I would like to not have the loner pups and our pack's pups mixed at the moment. What do you think?" Before being able to take a breath, he noticed the bad energy coming off of the training group. He hesitated with the pup in front of him, but instead of running from it, he stood where he was and yelled at the group, "Whats going on?"

After a heavy sleep, the large grey wolf stood up and stretched in an attempt to jumpstart his thoughts. He was not one to wake up instantly, in fact, he didn't really trust those who could. Other than some noises outside, it was a normal start to the morning, which meant normal duties. As his eyes came into focus, he noticed one of the male hunters stumble to his paws. Jeckyll tilted his head out of curiosity before he said, "Did you get up too fast?"

Xena stretched out her legs after being curled up for a long night's sleep and smiled contentedly at her three growing pups who were all starting to wake up as well. She couldn't help but feel a twinge of pride in the three of them: they were all so young and full of life, and they had certainly come a long way since puphood, even though they were only five months old and in their apprenticeships. "Good morning," she murmured to her pups. "Time to get up."


Nyx

Nyx had been up for hours before her family woke up, her aging bones not able to stay comfortable for an entire night at a time. She had spent half of the night pacing the floor of the den in an attempt to ease the pain, but was careful as to not wake anyone else up. The banter of the pups and her daughter brought a smile to her face that had just begun to grey. "I wonder what today will bring.... what blessings, and what curse?" She said to herself, an old superstition that she said at the start of each day.

Shadow, having been interrupted from a good dream about hunting, opened her amber eyes with a loud huff of protest. "Moooom," she whined. "Do you have to do that every morning?" After a sigh, the black pup rose to her feet, causing her brother Cain's head to slide off of her back. She blinked and looked around the den for something to do- she needed something to do or someone to practice hunting with. Soon, she found the perfect target for hunting practice; a fellow apprentice called Totem. She crouched down and began sneaking up on the sleeping apprentice.

"Ow, watch it, will you?" Cain groaned as his head hit the ground after Shadow had stood up. He shook off the dust that had gotten onto his light fur and rolled his eyes at his sister. Cain found her to be quite odd if he was being honest, and her finding an unwilling target of a pounce proved his point even more in his eyes. He looked over at his mother and shared a shrug with her before he got up and tried to find something to do himself. Perhaps he could see if there was anyone willing to train him today?

Maddox, unphased by their stirring family, simply rolled over onto their side and continued to dream. In this dream, they were fully grown and in a field of flowers, their absolute favorite place to be. Wonderfully pleasant scents and colors of flowers surrounded them, and the sun warmed their brown and tan pelt. Maddox bit the air in their sleep, as they nipped at a butterfly in their dream.

SweetFur paused as she listened to Autumn's question, a small flick of her tail and she continued walking before crafting her response. She picked up the pace slightly "I think Darcia will be confused , a little set back and on defense - of course and rightfully so" she sad with a small nod 'However once he knows what is happening I think he will be appreciative of our warning" Her voice softened after a moment "We are almost there. "

River followed the group out of camp and listened closely to their words. She walked beside Lucius and side eyed him before deciding to start up her own conversation "Why her? " she asked curiously. River had never seen anyone romantically interested in her mother so she was - genuinely curious as to why. Keeping her voice low she added "Besides, My mother isn't as sunshine and rainbows as she makes herself seem...but I highly doubt you've seen that side of her yet.. have you?"

Indigo's eyes lit up as Lex agreed to go out of the camp "Finally!" she said happily "I have absolutely been itching to leave camp since Darcia set the "do not go alone" rule" with her tail wagging softly she turned toward the camp entrance and began walking towards it. She looked back at Lex and grinned "hurry up! Before all the good prey is gone! I think we will catch something amazing today!" Indigo always spoke in a positive light before going out for a hunt - in her opinion it worked well.

Risen growled at the apprentice for a moment, his fur almost standing on edge. Once Bulk mentioned "respect" it was game over for Risen. He lashed his tail and took another step towards him. He raised his head and glared into his gaze. "You are one to speak about Respecting others" he almost spat. "Why should someone respect your mentor? I bet he has hardly taught you a thing. The only thing Blaze knows how to teach is pain inflictment. Nothing about skill or keeping yourself alive." Risen growled the next statment "He teaches you to kill or be killed" . Hearing the Alpha's voice, Risen turned to face him "Bulk decided to talk down to me. We were exchanging rather -- harsh words" he said flatly.


B L A Z E

Blaze gave a soft smile as Tempest asked about Aleck "This morning he seemed more content. However only time will tell." he said quietly. Blaze hoped Aleck healed quickly. Flicking his attention back to Kakora, he was a little surprised to hear her agree. The kid does have a backbone. He thought before nodding and backing up away from the pair to give them room. "Remember what I told you about where to strike. This may be a little more complex since Tempest knows what and how to block. But i'm sure she'll go easy on you - this time" he said adding a small laugh to the end. "You've got this kid" he said trying and hoping to encourage Kakora. After speaking his eyes wandered to see a small pup (Haru), he studied it and noticed the Alpha, Darcia speaking to it. He was intrigued. Seeing Darcia turn his gaze to Bulk and Risen he sighed "Here we go" he said in almost a growl. He looked at Tempest and Kakora "please excuse me for a moment" he said before dismissing himself and walking towards his angered pack mates. He stood with his head high watching Bulk carefully. He wanted to interject - but also hoped Bulk would put Risen in his place.

Darcia

Darcia cocked his head a bit at the response from Risen. He wasn't expecting such a response from the Delta. Considering this a learning experience for both the Delta and Apprentice, he growled, "Well Risen, what are you going to do about it?" He glanced over at Blaze, making sure the warrior was there in case anything went too far.

Risen glanced at the Alpha, listening to his words. When asked what he was going to do and hadn't scolded him for dis-respecting his child he locked his gaze onto Darcia. "I was planning on teaching Bulk some respect" he said bluntly. His eyes trailed back to Bulk. He wrinkled his nose at the over - confidence he portrayed. "Instead of talking down to your pack members, perhaps you should bite your tongue every now and then and focus on learning from them" he stated

Bulk had the feeling of backing down, or even letting his tail drop between his hind legs. Yet his pride would not let him submit to the Delta of the pack. His ears flattened against his head, and his tail bristled as it dropped from the height it had been at. The apprentice lowered his position a bit in front of the delta, but kept his eyes glued onto the wolf that was now his enemy. Although letting Risen get the last word was a thorn in his paw, he remained quiet.

Darcia

Darcia watched the Delta carefully, watching his movements intently. He was surprised by the spunk of the younger wolf. This truly was not like himself, but he was enjoying the new character trait. "Well, how are you going to teach this apprentice the respect, Risen?" The alpha called out, taunting the delta.
