" I haven't heard anything, no," she replied. "But I guess it does kind of work with me doing night watch and being a medic. I'm supposed to help keep the pack healthy. And I suppose getting, I don't know, killed in your sleep doesn't seem very healthy."
Her head snapped to the left, hearing rustling in the bushes. And out came... a squirrel. She sighed. "Maybe it is pointless." She did kill the squirrel and put it in the prey pile, though. "I don't know what I'm expecting to happen, to be honest. I just think a large group of wolves could easily be an easy target for a family of bears, or something, especially with pups, and the fact that there's so much tension with Dawn Pack."

Bulk did not hesitate or flinch when the medic came over and started inspecting him. He stood as still as he could as he was checked for wounds, but he knew that he had none. Bulk stayed silent as he watched the medic's movements.

Autumn

Autumn had woken up alone in the back of the medic's den. Noticing her son had not returned from the other day, her thoughts began racing about all of the possibilities. The lead medic got up, and sat outside of the medic's den, hoping the sunlight and fresh air would help her get a hold of herself.

The alpha had been up for a few hours before he emerged from his den. He sat in front of it, and watched the dusk pack camp come to life. He ran through the new rules in his head, making sure he was not sounding too ridiculous about what he said.

Sweetfur flicked her tail as her eyes scanned the camp, she dipped her head to the outgoing patrols. She considered joining one but someone of a higher had to remain in the camp. Bramble would be patrolling , and Cecile was injured. She sighed and shook out the remaining dust from her sleep out of her fur. Her eyes caught a glimpse of Keme heading towards their den. She figured Autumn had sent him to check on River. id better make sure on that. she thought to herself before heading towards the medics den. Autumn was already sitting outside. SweetFur gave her a small smile and dipped her head “good morning Autumn. I see Keme has already been sent to check on River?” she said gently

Hearing a voice she locked eyes with one of the pack medics; Keme. She sighed knowing this conversation would be utterly confusing. As he entered, a rancid stench came along with him. “good morning Keme.” she said quietly ; giving him a dip of her head respectfully. She flicked her ears as he began mentioning the smell of rotting flesh. She glanced away for a moment before looking back at him “err - Thank you for the warning. But Autumn looked at my flank yesterday afternoon herself. I don’t think my flesh will be rotten any time soon.” at least she hoped it wouldn’t.

Destiny nodded as Gabriel spoke she smiled softly hearing their time in the pack so far was good. “I’m glad you’ve been enjoying the pack!” she said happily. With a flick of her tail; she had to hold herself from excitement spewing from her as he stated they would like to become hunters. She settled with an excitable sentence “becoming a hunter is amazing! I personally think it’s more important than the fighters. We provide for the pack and ensure they remain fed. It’s the most honorable role in my opinion.” she rambled for a moment before tilting her head back toward the sky and scenting Silent with them. Ah, Silent!” she said softly and with a small smile [/i] “I’m so happy you decided to join us. I feel like hunting is a perfect role for you” [/i] Destiny wanted to be extra kind to the more timid Omega. She felt bad that the only wolf she spent her time with was Keme. The thoughts quickly fled from her mind as they arrived at the valley and the herd of deer came into view. She turned towards the three wolves “so one deer can be handled alone or with another. For herds it’s better to split, one wolf takes the front; two on each side and another in the back. If we can separate them we can single some off and boom. We get more than one deer” she tried explaining her logic for the hunting formation. “as we approach - it’s common sense but please remember to keep your tails low but not dragging and stay downwind. Don’t attack before you’re in reach and please thank the deer for sacrificing it’s life. We don’t need them haunting us.”

Risen’s eyes sprung open as dawn was beginning to break; being the Delta he quickly sprang to his paws with a small stretch. He quickly padded out of his den and dipped his head to anyone he passed on his way out of the den. As he excited the camp he pushed himself into a run. Beginning his morning with what he called a ‘lightning patrol’. He would quickly race the border to see if anyone or anything had touched it the night before. He scented the air nothing. he concluded as he rounded the final turn in preparation to arrive back at camp. He flicked his tail as he walked into the camp entrance and walks towards the prey - pile. His ears flicked with the noises of the pack beginning to awaken. He figured his apprentice; Kakora would awaken soon so they could begin training. Turning his head he caught a glimpse of the pack’s lead fighter Blaze coming towards the prey pile. Risen dipped his head “good morning Blaze! How are you doing this morning?” he asked happily.

Blaze opened his green eyes, still laying his head on his paws from the night before he clicked on where he was. The medics den. He looked to his side to see Aleck peacefully sleeping beside him. Quietly, Blaze rose to his paws. Being careful not to wake the injured medic. He figured nothing had happened the night before as he slept pretty soundly. Not wanting to miss out on the days duties as Lead Fighter he padded out of the Medic den and toward the middle of camp. On a normal occurrence he wouldn’t dare leave something he was assigned too. However he had told the Alpha, Darcia directly that he would be beginning to train basic self defense to apprentices and the medics who could. Plus - Aleck would be in good paws with Avon… and perhaps Althea too. She was correct about the honey holding onto his fur better. The cobweb had hardy moved. Snapping from his thoughts, He noticed Risen returning from his stupid morning “patrol” , he wanted to avoid the Delta at all costs. He was a tad too - peppy for Blaze especially at this time of the morning. However, he wanted to wait until others were awake before making the days game plan and the best way to do that would be to wait in the middle of camp for the other pack members to wake up. He knew today they would begin training but he wanted to know how to start - and where to start. As he began his trek to the prey pile to pick something up for Aleck, his peaceful morning was Interrupted by Risen. He dipped his head to the Delta before flatly replying “training.” realizing he sounded rude to a higher ranking he shook his pelt and continued his sentence “i mentioned to Darcia yesterday that I’d like to go though a brief self defense course with the apprentices and able medics”

Indigo pulled the deer into the camp slowly. What better way to spend the time being unable to sleep than hunting ? She thought. It wasn’t often she went out on a hunt alone, but when she did it was primarily in the early mornings before anyone had awaken. She found it peaceful. As she inched closer to the prey pile her tail wagged. Proud of herself she set it down fully and shook her fur. Eyes beaming. She spun looking for someone to talk too but soon realized everyone was still sleeping peacefully. She frowned and turned back towards her den, as she began walking away Sparrow’s voice rang thanking her. Indigo turned quickly, her tail wagging “You’re so welcome Sparrow! How are you this morning?” she said a little too excitedly for the morning. She glanced over to see Blaze and Risen talking , Blaze looked almost ready to rip out Risen’s eyes. She chuckled softly before giving Sparrow her attention once more.

-She stopped when they reached the valley, her eyes looking at the herd of deers there eating peacefully, so far she didn't see any young, weak, or sick ones, but they were good at hiding things. She flicked her ears as the Destiny spoke about the rank importunity "I don't actually even understand why there are only fighter ranks? could they know the hunting skills too? and what they do to pass their days?" she asked suddenly. In her eyes, she did see the fighters only hanging around without doing anything or taking some quick patrols around or doing something which was asked them to do.

Gabriel

-He nodded to the hunter "well I could love to learn some battle skills too, but I think hunting is still more important than that, especially when you need to eat every day and you need the fighting skills only sometimes..." he spoke up. He watched the deers there, which didn't have any clue that what's going to happen to them soon "hmm, that's sound great plan, but who do what?" he asked looking at the hunter, giving a quick look to silent as well, feeling little unsure if the she-wolf could be too scared to move on.

She flicked her ears rather annoyed to the older apprentices tune "...nothing, sorry to bother you, go back to sleep" she said silently turning away. She did not sleep in the blink of an eye last night, so of course, she was a little confused about the time, the night was in the lights and she was into her own thoughts.

The night got like a blink of an eye, she didn't remember ever going to sleep at all, maybe because she had a very restless night. Though even if she didn't really sleep much she was not tired at all, instead she felt very annoyed for some reason.

He was annoyed about the commotions earlier, mostly that than they were not allowed to get out alone, that's exactly what he enjoyed to do and now he need to ask someone to join him to do so.

Alma leaned in to the licks behind her ears, letting her heart slow down with Nyssa's comfort. "Sorry for waking you." She said softly eventually, perking up when she heard the pups begin to squeak. It would be time for them to nurse again, probably. That was what her instincts were telling her, and she knew she had to listen. "You little ones must be hungry, hm?"She cooed, lifting each one and placing them close to her belly, watching as each crawled to latch on, some fighting over the same spot. Would the rest of the pack want to see them today? Maybe. Alma wasn't sure she wanted to leave her den yet.

Cecile had known her aches would be bad the following morning, but when she woke early as usual, it felt like her whole body had been solidified in concrete. Any slight movement inflamed the ache in her shoulder and hind leg, and it took considerable effort to be able to stand up. It was a good job she liked River, otherwise there could have been a lot of resentment building up because of what happened yesterday. With a huff she realised that she would 't be able to patrol today, she felt practically useless.

Bramble woke up the next morning. He stretched himself and got up. He padded quietly into camp, making sure he didn’t make any loud movements to ensure not waking up his still sleeping packmates. He walked to the border, checking for any suspicious activity.

Lucius woke up the next morning, wondering if Sweetfur was awake yet. He got to his paws and walked out of his den. He looked around, not spotting Sweetfur yet. He assumed she was still in her den, asleep.

Kakora woke up to her sister screaming in her ear. “I’m up! No need to yell! Especially in my ear!” She says grumpily. “Okay, I’m coming” she says still half asleep.

Elske turned as she heard paw steps. “Oh, morning, Dixie! How’d you sleep?” She greets the female warmly. “Yesterday was eventful to say the least” she comments. “I hope today will be better” she adds.

Sofia sighed, walking through the territory, she wanted to go for a hunt by herself to clear her mind, but was having no luck. She sat by some brush hoping something would jump out, but there were no credible prey scents nearby. She just decided to wait, and let her min think.

She was too distracted listening to them talking, that she was caught off guard when Destiny noticed her and spoke to her. Instantly she stopped in her tracks and chocked on her own breath. She cowered slightly and felt much more relief when the attention was taken off of her and towards the hunt. She caught her breath quickly and tried to focus on the rules for the occasion. She wanted to help. Silent understood very clearly what to do, and was determined to do it right...She really hoped she will.
Almost jumping ahead of the situation, unintentionally, she moved off quietly to circle into position. Being a small wolf, and on the side of underweight, it gave her an advantage when it came to being light footed and also not having to crawl so much to be unseen. She was able to keep a good, fast pace while being low to the ground. At least she could always pretend that her name was due to her stalking abilities instead of due to her selective mutism.

He raised an eye at Althea's explanation and then chuckled a little. "Well, I guess that seems like a logical point." He really couldn't deny that. At the same time as she noticed the squirrel, he did too, but he didn't move from where he was sitting and just let Althea get on with dispatching it. "I guess catching a squirrel also helps, no-one starving." He sounded like he was humoring her a bit.
"True, it could happen, but it's probably pretty unlikely as we patrol everyday....What do you plan to do if a group of bears do come walking into camp? Not like you can fight off a family of bears by yourself, or even one of them." He pointed out. "I don't know anyone that could do that....Not even 'the hero' Blaze." He growled ever so slightly to himself.

Keme - Medic - Dawn Pack

Keme tilted his head to the side at River saying that Autumn had looked at her wound the day previously. "Infection is like evil, it can attack at any time." He replied to her, he glanced back down at the mixture of medicine he had made. "It aids healing and boosts your immune system." He added. "So perhaps you don't need it, but I wouldn't want to be sat in my den for any longer than I had too...Unless it meant talking with my friends." His thoughts seem to trail off and his expression became somewhat distracted for a long while.

“True true,” she said. “On the topic of Blaze, isn’t he doing training? I might go, though I already know how to fight well enough. Maybe you should come!” She smiled at Olcan. “I’m sure he would enjoy your help, especially since he’s doing apprentices too. I think you’re good at what you do. I would like to see you there!” She tried her best to sound friendly. Olcan seemed nice, and she would like to have him as a friend. There was something in his voice when he said Blaze. Did he not like him? Blaze is so nice though. What is there to dislike?

Sweetfur gave a respectful nod to her pack alpha. "Yes, Keme took it upon themselves to check in with River. I've been a bit.. distracted at the moment." Autumn replied to her leader hesitantly. She shuffled in where she sat before admitting to the alpha, her gaze turning to her paws. "Oak has been gone since the day before after the event you and River had. He hadn't returned during the night. I still have hope that he will come back to the camp, but I'm worried he won't."

Darcia

Darcia, while overlooking the camp, had noticed Risen left the camp without another wolf leaving with him. He growled to himself quietly as he waited and watched for the wolf to come back. Once Risen had come back to camp and approached the prey pile, he took it upon himself to grace the delta wolf with his presence. Darcia stalked over to where Risen and Blaze stood, his eyes focused on the delta.

Golden had woken up and laid around for awhile, enjoying how cozy she was. She eventually got up and looked out of the apprentice den to see what the pack was up to. She noticed that the alpha was approaching the prey pile where two other wolves were, and decided to stay where she was. She knew something was up and did not want to get mixed in with it.
