He lifted his large brown head and gave his tail a slight wag. "Oh good." He barked and began to walk over. As he did he saw a slight movement in the grass, his mind playing it off as a breeze, but his fur didn't move the same way. He stopped, scanning the area slowly, his golden eyes fixated on the waves of plants before the shivering thicket of grass moved again. "ISLA!" He snapped and began charging forwards towards her, at the same point a leopard made a dash for her as well, Voorhees felt a spring of panic as he desperately tried to reach her before the cat did.

He felt a strong rush of panic, not her. Not after she was the only one to show him kindness and caring. That cat wouldn't take her from him, not now. He felt his limbs grow heavy, his body ache and his head rush. He didn't know how she would react, but he couldn't let her get hurt. Even if she feared him, he needed the pack healer safe. The Alphas would kill him if they found he had done nothing.
Voorhees leapt and landed in front of Isla, the cat stopping to yowl angrily at him, but the large wolf's muscles began twitching, his bones cracking and a horrid snarl erupted from his throat, nothing near the sound a wolf would make. His fur grew longer and thicker, his body bulked and heavy. Finally after a moment or two, he stood up on his hind legs. A massive bear standing where a wolf once did, he let out a long, loud roar that startled the bird from the trees and carried on the wind, echoing around them before he slammed his front paws down and locked onto the cat.

He asked before stepping forward, the stream cracking as it's flow of water was interrupted by ice, creaking a small platform for him to stand on. At this point, I give props to all loners who are still making their own way even in this ruined world." It was rare for most loners to want and help someone after being helped. Or at least the loners he had met before certainly didn't share that sort of sentiment.

Zane nodded, "I know it isn't a threat to the pack, but I had a small idea...if that part had collapsed and it led down to the area, that would open up even more prey for us to hunt as we haven't found a way down to that section yet. Then again I guess if we were to move again it wouldn't be needed." He shook his head as they moved out of campgrounds, "Okay, maybe we don't need to check that area we can check the others."

Thunder was so busy trying to beat his brother he didn't notice a pile of snow and smacked into it, though it was much harder than normal snow and he ended up coming to halt. "Ow..." He grumbled shaking his somewhat aching head, "This must be ice...mother had said something about it once before. like snow, but much harder...she wasn't lying." By now Hei had taken the lead to their race for sure and he wasn't about to let his baby brother beat him.
