Lucas' eyes lit up with a quiet delight when his friend expressed the same feelings for him. Surely this confession meant... Well, Lucas wouldn't want to get ahead of himself. He still needed to be on guard with all the Fire wolves in the territory. He wasn't sure why they were there, but he wasn't about to let them get anywhere within Leo's range - especially when he was still healing after their intensive sparring match.

"Sometimes fights happen. What's important is that we're able to make up and move beyond it." Lucas replied. "I can't imagine that I'd ever stay mad at you, Leo. Not when we love each other so much." He made a happy humming noise. "It's so nice to be able to say that..." He considered with a growing smile.

Zeus had to agree with Rosa's prayer, but little Rosa didn't just have the sky-dogs watching over her. Zeus' tail curled around the small pup and she perked her ears out towards the Nursery. It didn't sound like there was any discussion going on, not that Zeus could hear from within the Nursery. Certain that someone would get her if something changed, Zeus secured herself around Rosa and licked the top of her fur. It was both a method of calming Rosa down... while also doing its own part in making sure that Zeus, herself, had something to do.

Sky-dogs, where is Fish? Zeus fretted. Let her be somewhere safe and sound... Please.

It didn't take Crow very long to return to the Fire pack's original campsite. Everything looked just as they'd left it. It didn't appear that there had been any humans parading through this section of their territory. However, as he looked around, he found that it didn't appear that any of his pack mates had returned here, either.

"Where could they have all gone..." He wondered aloud, his hoarse whisper sounding loud in the silence. It unnerved him and he vowed to remain silent for the rest of his adventure. He moved from den to den, peering into what had been the Alpha's Den and noting the moss that had since dried up and frosted over. Snow had blown into the den and he could observe wear and tear from the poor weather conditions. With no one in the old camp, it had fallen into some disrepair.

I suppose... I could try to clean it up. Surely they're bound to come back here eventually, right? He thought. He couldn't just start wandering around aimlessly. And he was a Fire wolf! He would hardly walk into Lightning territory and ask them for help! Besides, he was a single wolf alone from an enemy pack. Shadow had a reputation for pitying youngsters, but Crow was well over three years old now. Surely that didn't qualify him as worthy of her pity anymore. He would likely be attacked on sight if he step a paw over the borders. He was no fool.

With a heavy sigh, Crow started to circle back around the dens. The Hunter and Warrior Dens were larger, but had taken more damage. With the rain, they had begun to leak. The Alpha's Den however, seemed only to need some clearing out, before it would be livable in. Or sleepable, anyway.

Surely Alpha Max wouldn't mind if I borrowed his den while I work on the rest of the camp? He thought with a frown. I'm sure he'll forgive me once he gets back. He tried to be optimistic, but he'd set his hopes on finding his pack mates in their usual haunts. To find the camp so obviously deserted... If he comes back.

Ghost had settled in beside Zane, tucking her nose under her tail and closing her eyes soon after. She didn't have any intention to be awake during the chaos that those pesky Fire wolves were sure to bring with them.
It wasn't bad enough to have StormCloud go crazy on us during the meeting or even afterwards. No, the sky-dogs just thought we needed a little extra spice to make the day REALLY exciting. Behind closed eyelids, Ghost rolled her eyes. Well, the arrival of the enemy pack had certainly sent her pack mates stirring.

She wondered for a moment after Starfire and Smoke. Had they managed to get somewhere safe or were they trying to brave it out in order to find out what the Fire wolves wanted faster. Well, it was none of her business what they tried to do, but she was worried for them all the same. Smoke could be... unpredictable with her pack mates. Hopefully Starfire would be able to knock some sense into the young wolf - to make sure that she didn't go charging into any sort of confrontation unprepared.

Such a pretty pair of she-wolves. She thought with a fond smile. The whole morning had not been a waste. She'd been able to speak both with Smoke and Starfire. Maybe after this Fire wolf business was cleared up, they might be able to speak together again. What am I thinking? Of course we'll be able to talk again. We live in the same pack, after all! Ghost reasoned with a delicate snort. She could be so silly sometimes.

The pup and story loving female said "Yeah...we don't know what they might do." She then stood up, and shook out the red and white coat. She yawned a bit, seeming to release some stress. She flicked her tail, blue eyes looking to Smoke. "Let's go," she said, and began to make her way over. She hoped, really hoped, that nothing would actually happen though.

The brown eared and legged female flicked her brown tail. She flicked her tail, ears twitching as she stood back up. She dipped her head to her alpha, then ran to the healer den. She saw Stormcloud on the way, and he didn't look so good...She needed to protect Aala right now, though.

The red eared one flicked their red and white tail. They made a small sound, heterochromatic eyes looking forward. They hummed a canine sound, and panted a bit, seeming stressed. They then sighed and dropped to a sitting position.

The happy and lucky but fiery and stubborn one flicked their white tipped tail. The pretty chocolate one nodded and said "Hmm...how'd you know?" but seemed to be being sarcastic. At least they hadn't been attacked. Shadow also didn't seem to be causing a fight, nor Max or Enui.

Leo closed his eyes fully and let himself relax against his friend. "Hope you don’t mind. I’m just gonna like...lean on you like this. You’re more warm than the moss and for all this mop of fur I have, it’s not very warm," he admitted. Leo slowly breathed out, feeling some of the earlier stress melt away. Despite the presence of their rivalling Pack, nobody was causing a fuss, there was no fighting as far as he could tell, and Shadow hadn’t called for their able fighters to band together, so whatever was going on...so far they weren't in danger.

"Yeah," the white Trainee mumbled his agreement, voice quiet. Staying mad at ANYONE had never been his forte, and it was just as well! "I'd HATE to stay mad at you, that’s no fun."

"Of course. Both of you, thank you for seeking me out." Those weren’t words Shadow had ever thought she would say. Not to members of their rivalling Pack, but it was true. This could’ve gone either way. They could talk, or they could fight, and Shadow had no wish to fight. She stood and straightened herself. Then she slipped out of her den and headed towards the Healer den. She nodded to the three she-wolves outside.

"Maui, Starfire, Smoke, thank you. Stay on your guard, but from what I hear, there should be no trouble. Resume your everyday duties." The white furred Alpha moved past them. "Aala, a word?"

"Of course," Max agreed, dark gaze shifting over to rest on Enui. She took initiative without asking what needed to be done. She acted respectfully, but efficiently. That was something that would never fail to make the Alpha proud, to make him more and more more certain that he had chosen the right future leader.

Max didn’t like having to reveal so much, but what choice did they have? None that he could see, and he HATED that. He HATED having to ask for anyone's help. Much less someone outside of his own Pack. However, he dipped his head respectfully to the other Alpha as she moved beyond them. "Right. Let’s get everyone together and explain the situation to them as best we can."

There was shuffling at the entrance of the den and Zeus' ears were able to detect Maui's voice just outside the Nursery. Of course she was asking about how her precious StormCloud was doing and not checking in on any of the pups. Then again... Harvest wasn't anywhere around the pups either. She repressed a sigh and whispered to Rosa. "Let's go see if your mother's doing better. Stay close to me and you must go right back into the Nursery if I tell you to. No running off, do you understand? It might not be completely safe yet." She advised the pup and then moved to stick her head out of the Nursery.

"Nightfall? StormCloud? I've got someone who I suspect desperately wants to see you. Rosa and I were both very worried when you caused that loud outburst this morning, StormCloud." She peered at the scarred male. "I hope you're over whatever caused it now. There's no room for such attitudes like that around pups." She looked over to where the Fire wolves stood. "But I imagine we have bigger things to deal with than whatever you worked yourself into a tizzy about earlier." She admitted and then turned her attention to Maui. "I'm glad to see you back. You didn't get hurt, did you? Did any of the Fire wolves..." She lowered her voice. "Attack you?" She whispered to the den-tender.

StormCloud/L-Pack/Warrior/Tagging: Maui /Location: At the Nursery entrance -> Healer's den

He got up "I'll tell you in the healer's den..." he says not looking at her eyes, he slowly walks over to the healer's den and lays down where he was before, he looks up at Maui and explains everything, even how he got his scar. "I didn't know Ghost was born a male because I was looking at her face, not her body. I also got upset a Zane assuming I didn't know how it feels to be born in the wrong body, because I've questioned my gender many times and it's okay if you don't feel the same way about me, I know I'm a monster..." he says then putting his head down, turned away from her, welling up with tears

She looks at Maui then at StormCloud, she turned head to Rosa and Zeus "Rosa!" she says padding over to meet the pup and she laid down with Rosa curled by her chest, she lick the pup's fur to calm her

Zeus was still expecting Maui's reply, for her intent really was to find out if the den-tender was alright. When StormCloud suddenly got up and mentioned going to the Healers Den, Zeus looked to him, alarmed.

"StormCloud I really don't think you-" But he had already padded away to the Healers Den. There was an enemy pack in their camp and he decides he can just walk around freely? She swallowed hard, but looked imploringly at Maui. "You should stay here." She advised. "If he wants to wander around... That's his business, but we shouldn't walk around so easily when there are Fire wolves here. Who knows what could happen?" She asked and sat near Nightfall and Rosa. At least they were happily occupied together, for the time being.
