He sniffs, wakes up, eats the herbs, gets up and slowly and shakily walks to the Nursery and puts himself firmly in the entrance of the Nursery "I maybe sick, but I will NOT let another pups die while I'm still kicking" he says

Nightfall/L-Pack/Huntress/Tagging: Aala, StormCloud, Toby, Fire wolves/Location: Healer's den -> Outside of the Nursery

She was shocked when her brother suddenly wakes up and gets up "brother where ar-" she says stopping mid-sceantions and smelled the air, "Aala I'll bring him back here, in a moment" she says quickly, then exits the den and stops in horror as She says the rival pack in their camp... she shaked her head and ran to meet her brother "we both will defend the pups" she snarls, she was in fully fight mode

"WHAT?!?" Shadow's eyes flew wide in alarm. She shot to her feet again and darted towards the den entrance. Upon staring outside, she immediately caught sight and scent alike of the Fire wolves. Her blood turned to ice and she stared around in dumbfounded shock. "No way...almost the entirety of the Pack?" She recognized the Healer, the Lead Warrior, several Warriors, Hunters and Trainees, but no sight of Max until he cleared his throat to draw attention. She glanced back over her shoulder at the Den-Tender who'd brought the news. "Maui, thank you for the warning, and I’m glad to see after an encounter you’re not hurt. It looks like the nursery is covered for the time being, so go guard the Healer den. Aala is a very small wolf with minimal ability to defend herself, and I think she’s all alone in there right now..."

Truthfully, Shadow hadn’t seen if anyone else had gone in, but it certainly was unsettling. She nodded coldly to Max. He was drenched, as if he’d been in a downpour or swum across the river not long ago. Looking around, most of the Fire wolves were much of the same. Both curious and uncertain of what else to do, Shadow beckoned the Fire Alpha to come join her in her den with a sharp jerk of her head.


Smoke | Warrior | L-Pack | Tagging: Starfire | Location: Camp


"Huh? What about-" Smoke cut herself off when she noticed the scent and registered the extra wolves. "I...uh..." Where she would normally ramble on, for once, Smoke had run out of words. She just stared around at the mass of their rivalling Pack with wide eyes. It was well known that the Fire Pack's Warriors trained far more than those of the Lightning Pack, and the Lightning wolves had more Hunters. Smoke's shoulders tensed.

"You don’t think they're here to ATTACK us in our own camp, with how many they brought, do you?" Smoke asked, dropping her voice to a whisper and looking up at Starfire. She marched forward to put herself protectively between the Scout and the clump of Fire wolves. She was only one wolf, but she was a Warrior and had more combat training than Starfire herself if a wolf or two approached with intentions of hurting them.


Leo | Warrior Trainee | L-Pack | Tagging: Lucas | Location: Camp


Leo opened his eyes and caught sight of the...Fire wolves who had arrived in their camp? As if the chaos from earlier wasn’t enough already... Sure, he was a Warrior Trainee, but still in the final phase of recovering from his injuries, tired, and more than a little rattled, he knew he was in no shape to get caught up in the drama. If a fight broke loose, of course he would jump in and help, as would be his duty, but he’d rather AVOID as much drama as he could.

"Yeah, sorry." Leo shifted so he could make room for his friend, trying his best not to shiver at the foul, yet faint scent of their rivalling Pack that drifted in on the wind. His gaze shifted over to Lucas. "So...uh...is that really the Fire Pack, or am I like, panic-hallucinating?" He asked in a mumble.


Max | Alpha | F-Pack | Tagging: Shadow, Enui | Location: Lightning Camp


Max's gaze settled on Enui when he felt her fur brush against his, a subtle, yet soothing gesture. He was rarely AFRAID of anything, but the recent events would surely leave ANYONE rattled! That and the fact they were relying on the wolves they had for so long had a standing rivalry with simply for their survival... if they were rejected, he didn’t know WHAT they’d do or where they’d go from there. They were in no shape to fight for territory.

"Thank you," Max murmured, closing his eyes for a moment and trying to compose himself. Then he nodded, beckoning Enui to follow when Shadow invited them into her den upon having taken note of them. He had no idea what he would say yet, but he fully expected confrontation. Shadow did NOT have a happy- or even the usually guarded- expression on her face so much as one of alarm, understandably.

The pup and story loving female said "I...don't think they are," as she noticed some things. "Do you notice how most of them are standing? Trying to protect each other, cold, wet. Some of them also look like they saw something...something scary, or heard something anyway. I think something happened to them. They must be here for...refuge I guess?" She then smiled at Smoke's protectiveness. She licked her cheek in thanks, then blushed and quickly pulled back.

The brown eared and legged female flicked her brown tail. She nodded to the white she wolf, saying "I...don't know if that's actually all of them. You're welcome, and thank you for worrying about me. Of course, I'll go do that now." She flicked her tail, ears twitching as she stood back up. She dipped her head to her alpha, then ran to the healer den. She smelled...Stormcloud in there, so she looked. "Stormcloud?! Aala, what happened?" she asked, hoping Aala knew (already).

The red eared one flicked their red and white tail. They made a small sound, heterochromatic eyes looking forward. They hummed a canine sound, and panted a bit, seeming stressed. They then sighed and dropped to a sitting position.

The happy and lucky but fiery and stubborn one flicked their white tipped tail. The pretty chocolate one let Jay stand in front of them and protect them.

Enui nodded her head to her Alpha when he instructed her to follow, but she wouldn't leave the group unprotected. Turning around, her eyes scanned the group, picking out their Lead Warrior.
"Arian, you're in charge until we emerge from the Den. Protect the group." She told the Lead Warrior, before she turned back around and followed her Alpha into the Den of the white she-wolf.

"They want refuge from US? After the war THEY started, according to what I’ve heard?" Smoke's eyes narrowed to tiny slits. It was true the Fire wolves didn’t seem to be acting in an aggressive manner, which after how she’d known the Fire Pack to be, made Smoke a bit uneasy. This was abnormal behaviour. But if they were looking for help as Starfire suggested, aggression was hardly in their best interest. She glanced briefly at Starfire with the hint of a smile at the feeling of a gentle lick. It DID make her feel a bit better, a bit more at ease.


Arian | Lead Warrior | F-Pack | Tagging: Enui | Location: Lightning Camp


Arian turned at the sound of her name being called, and dipped her head in agreement to the Beta's order. "Of course. Best of luck with Alpha Shadow, you two." Her expression didn’t change, but she couldn’t help but be both a bit nervous, being in charge of the whole group until the Alpha or Beta's return, and perhaps a bit excited for it, even if nothing happened. Of course, she should’ve expected as much. She’d not seen Crow, and it only made sense that as a high enough rank, in the absence of Alpha and Beta, a Lead was left in charge.

Lucas settled down comfortably beside Leo, shifting around for a bit to get more settled, before he sighed.
"You're not hallucinating, that's for sure. What they're all doing in the camp, I have no clue. I'm sure Shadow will deal with them. I'm not exactly inclined to go investigate yet." Though now with the intruders in the camp, he certainly didn't feel like taking a nap, either. What if this was all some strung out plan to catch the Lightning Pack while they were off guard? Lucas didn't like it - not one bit of it. "The leaders will protect us. I guess it's good timing that Shadow picked them today." He remarked softly to his friend. "I still think we'd make a better power duo though, heh."

"With the ranks organized, it’ll be less stressful on Alpha, and more organized. We’d totally make a great power duo. One day it’ll be us in their place, they’d be nuts NOT to let us climb ranks when we have so much to offer the Pack, right?" He half-joked. Then the humour faded away. "The Fire Pack being here all of a sudden- and LOTS of them- makes me wary about literally being caught napping though. So...I’ll try to sleep, but I may just end up snuggling in here instead," Leo admitted, pressing closer to friend, into the warmth of his fur. "Sorry, sorry. Just...you’re warm."

Crow | Lead Hunter | Location: Temp Fire Camp | Tagging: Open

Crow had spent the better part of the afternoon searching all the dens, but he couldn't see that there were any survivors. Anyone who had lived had left the pack grounds. He wished he could have heard the call on where to go, but he could only remember the call to retreat. His memory was already feeling fuzzy, no doubt clouded by the panic he'd endured that morning.

Well, if they weren't in the temporary camp, maybe they'd gone back home to their usual home. Creeping his way through the forest, he started headed back home. Hopefully he'd find his pack soon. If they weren't back at their original camp and they weren't in the temporary camp... They couldn't have all been taken by the humans, could they...? Could Crow really be the only one left?
