Kass watched the way Tundra moved, the look on her face as she acted, then the sweep of a tail lightly brushing across her own dark fur. Even if she had been expecting touch, it still made her fur prickle, a smile, ever so faint, fleeting, come to her face. "If you can get me with my own tricks, you’re doing something right."

Sighing the male looked up at the burning sky, thinking about the past and his family. He huffed, Family? What family. They don't talk to me. Arius grimaced, Though I don't really make an effort to talk with them either. The last time Arius had spoken to either of his parents, they'd called him an outlyer. Something that belonged, but was in the wrong place. He suposed that was true. Born into a pack with mostly elemental power - fire and heat related - there were very few that didn't have some sort of elemental pull. It had been a blow to his ego when he'd found that in a world of elemental powers that he and others like him were a minoraty. Shaking his head, he pulled himself out of those dark thoughts, his eyes still on the sky.

Allowing her senses to return to normal parameters, the silvery female took a few moments to breathe and calm her heart-beat. A rumble of question sounded from her chest as she thought about just heading back to camp with her two kills and go back out a second time later in the day. Tilting her head, she nodded to herself mentally agreeing with the plan. Getting up, the lass picked the hare back up and started to head back to where she'd buried the other hare.

Looking up at the sound of a soft voice, he blinked at the sight of Jayden, one of the pack's hunters. One ear twitched as he stared at the other wolf for a few moments, in silence. "Hello, Jayden. How are you?" He asked suddenly, his voice bland though his eyes sparkled with mischief. Rolling into a better position, the male got to his belly his tail curled over his hind legs. Putting one paw over the other, he crossed one front paw over the other and gave the younger male a speculative look. The look on his face was half bored and half questioning, a look he'd mastered at a young age so he wouldn't have to do much talking. Of course, it also served to either piss off or make other nervous as well.

One whiskered eyebrow twitched, couldn't one go herb hunting while another stayed behind in case something happened. I can wait. If I die here then it'll be their fault because of their incompetent and useless fur pelts.
