Borealis dipped her speckled muzzle towards the Beta, holding her position a beat longer than she usually would. It was true; words of comfort were refreshing to hear. The lithe Huntress crouched and lifted up the remains of her cleanly stripped rabbit- seeing as there was barely a single piece of meat that had been left behind on the bones- and glanced around the camp as if looking for a spot to throw it away.

Blue held her breath for many dragged out seconds before blurting out what she wanted to say. “I love you!” Just as the words came out, she was washed over with sudden emotions of fear and shyness. Blue took a step back watching Marble continually, waiting for what would happen next.

Storm took a step backwards and interpreted what he heard Proclast tell him. His ears flicked when he heard Nyx snarl and follow up by walking away. He looked the opposite way at Jesslin with curious eyes. For a moment he didn't feel so much hate toward the title of Elder because he admired Jess and he wouldn't be alone.

Honouria's expression regained soft. She finished off her own meal. Honestly she had no idea where to go from there, what to say, or how. While she did her best to mix with the Pack, her job often DID keep her too busy for casual relations. It should be nice to not have much to do for a while though, and...quite honestly it had felt good to just sit down, share a meal, and help a fellow wolf.

Kassandra was not usually a wolf to be easily caught off-guard. She was no Warrior, to be sure, but she still liked to have her mind as sharp as her senses. So the news that someone liked her, genuinely liked her, made her freeze where she was for a moment as she processed that. She opened her eyes and lifted them to meet the other Huntress' pale ones. "Darling..." Her voice trailed off. She straightened herself. "Tell me why?" She asked. "What is there about me to attract, despite looks?" She wondered. She was selfish. She was a general flirt, and...as far as she knew, she’d never been seen as particularly trustworthy. She had her own interests at heart. As far as she knew, if someone was attracted to her, it was superficial, a love based on looks. "No wolf here REALLY knows me," She explained quietly.

Kass hadn’t intended to, she'd intended to keep a perfect straight face, but found that she couldn’t help but smile, even if it was just a slight curve of her mouth. "Of course I don’t interrupt. I may be what other wolves consider selfish, but even there, I understand respect of someone when they talk." That was true enough. She liked talking, and hated being interrupted, so others surely deserved the same courtesy. "Well...I’m..." At a loss for words, for one. "I'm not entirely sure how I’m supposed to react. I’ve never been in this situation before."
