He remembered the big black furred she wolf was called Nisha but how was he going to tell her he wanted to join? He absently started making swirls and shapes with the stick he found, he then got inspiration. He forgot he picked up how to make words by drawing in the dirt. So carrying his stick he approached Nisha with a lowered body and head.

Max left the lab as the rain pelted down, there fat droplets hitting the ground as the two packs met. It was time to add in the new wolf who was in a cage waiting to be placed into the dome. She set down the crate on the far side and slid it into the dome. She zapped the wolf through the bars making sure it was fully asleep. She dragged the wolf out and let it lay there water soaked her high pony tail and she was drenched by the time she got out of the dome with the crate by her side. She looked at the black wolf and tightened her belt. She turned around and went back into the lab to log the new wolf into the data base.

romulus paced in his tiny cage, occasionally pausing to give a warbly yowl. he felt uncomfortably cramped in the mesh box, and was getting tired and thirsty. the wolf licked round his muzzle, chomping at the strong wire of the crate.
the male's ears picked up on a faint noise. he recognised it fairly quickly as the sound of human footsteps. hoping that it was his old keeper, romulus' ears perked up and he looked around eagerly, only for his excitement to quickly halt when he saw them. it was some unfamiliar human- female, by their scent- and romulus immediately began snarling, his tail raising defensively. his growl turned to a yelp as the approaching human zapped something into his shoulder, and romulus' vision faded as he fell unconscious.

he awakened slowly, his surroundings slowly coming into focus. he was in some sort of forest now, and the air smelt damp. he howled quietly, hoping to find somebody he recognised, and began cautiously walking.

she went in and saw the rain in the dome pouring down. she dried off her hair with her jacket and put it back on. she clicked into the laptop and turned the storm up a little bit. thunder now rolled through out the dome shaking and rumbling. she waited 10 minutes and clicked the storm higher lightning flashed a few times here and there. :this is the perfect storm for them to meet, they need to find shelter or a wolf could get hurt: she checked the board and saw the one male and the one loner female close together and she wondered what they would do.

He waited for Nisha to notice him as the storm picked up. He could see vague flashes of light then loud thundering booms that him jump and yelp in fright, he looked up fearfully as the sky rumbled.

A small white wolf looked terrified at the coming storm. :all of this, I don't think its the world doing this: he thought. He had been noticing that the weather changed inside the dome even when outside it looked different. He was starting to not like this place, he was not able to do his job well with everything being new and different. He walked off to the white looking at comet who seemed a bit distracted by the other alpha.
"I have not seen you around here before. I'm loki, are you alright? Here come closer to the pack they won't mind I will tell them off if they do. Just stay close: he said over the roaring thunder. A strike came closer. They needed to figure this out before something bad happened. He howled at the stranger and went closer.
"Its just a storm you'll be ok" he reassured the wolf.
"OH i forgot whats your name?" He asked.

He saw a wolf approach him and introduce it's self as Loki. Loki sounded friendly and he surprised that Loki let him into the pack. More thunder and he pressed himself fearfully against Loki's side but when asked his name he went back for his stick that he dropped due to fright and came back to Loki's side. As best he could due to heavy rain he spelled out My name is Alabaster

"Alabaster? That's nice, let's go into the back to the pack" he said, rubbing his head on alabaster kinda like a father would to its son. He kept a close eye on alabaster making sure no wolves tried to attack them. He led alabaster over to where he was before next to comet.

He followed the wolf after a head rub and sat down unaware of the wolf next to them.

Troy started jotting things down in his notebook. noting all wolves that began to interact and those that didn't. he turned to see Maxine place a new wolf into the enclosure, wondering if he would join a pack or be by himself. he then released another elk. there were now two inside, but this time there was no buzzer. he wondered if the wolves would notice and become confused or if they would ignore and kill anyway. it could be that they were going to have consequences for eating the elk that had no buzzer. the goal for this was to train them to eat only when the buzzer sounded. after all, these scientists were practically trying to create wolves of war. turn them into mindless, thoughtless, weapons they can control over sound alone.

creature simply nodded to the other alpha and then turned to catch himself another meal, after all there was plenty of small meals to go around, the only problem were that they were unusually fast and difficult to catch. you almost always had to outsmart the prey. it was then that he saw the gate open and another elk appear. it was odd, there was no sound. but now there was enough for both packs to eat. all though he felt a chill run down his spine and a feeling of danger in his gut. "Maxwellia." he called to his female beta. "Form a hunting party. how do you feel about taking down that elk?" he asked her opinion.

comet blushed wildly when loki told her that he liked her. "I uh... I like you too." this is the first time she's ever felt shy around anyone. though she wasn't sure mating was allowed here. her ears perked to the sounds around her. she hoped he could hear her over the sound of the wind and rain and the funnel clouds beginning to form. hearing the wild wolves leader thinking of creating a hunting party in this dangerous storm was crazy to here. and all she could think was they must be fearless.... she pressed her side up against loki and when he walked off to attend to another wolf she blinked curiously. she guessed he hadn't heard her after all. maybe it was for the best. she gave a shrug and looked towards the den she now called home. she just wanted to slink inside and wait out the rain and the rising of the river gave her an uneasy feeling as well.
